ECW Recap from San Jose, CA:

ECW opened with Mike Adamle discussing tonight's upcoming John Morrison vs. CM Punk match, and the
Night of Champions Confrontation between Big Show & Kane.

Hornswoggle vs. Armando Estrada

Highlights were shown of last week's 3 losses by Armando Estrada, first to Finlay, then Colin Delaney and then Hornswoggle. In tonight's match, Hornswoggle started off by taking one of Estrada's Cuban cigars and breaking it, then throwing it at Estrada. Hornswoggle, ran outside the ring with Estrada chasing him. Horney ducked under the apron and grabbed a bag of marbles to pour out, causing Estrada to trip and fall on them. As Hornswoggle got back in the ring, he had a super soaker to spray Estrada with. Hornswoggle went outside the ring yet again and slipped underneath. Honrswoggle came out the other side, with Estrada going under to retrieve him. Estrada began to pull some legs out, but it turned out to be Finlay under the ring with a Super Soaker. Finlay sprayed Armando in the face, then tossed him back into the ring. Hornswoggle climbed the corner ropes to hit the Frogsplash for the win.

Winner: Hornswoggle wins via pinfall over Colin Delaney.

Matt Striker vs. Evan Bourne

Highlights were shown from last week's tag team match where Bourne and Kofi Kingston defeated Shelton Benjamin and Mike Knox. Tonight, Bourne withstood all of Striker's attacks in the ring, then was able to climb to the corner for a moonsault splash to take the pinfall. After winning, Mike Knox came into the ring to attack Bourne, smashing him down to the mat.

Winner: Evan Bourne wins via pinfall over Matt Striker.

Kofi Kingston vs. Mike Knox

Mike Knox seemed to have the advantage, using his power to wear Kingston down. Kofi finally broke away to hit a huge dropkick, then the double leg drop on Knox. As Kofi was preparing to carry momentum to victory, Shelton Benjamin appeared from backstage. Shelton came down into the ring, prompting the ref to call for the bell. As Shelton tackled Kofi down, the two began to brawl. Shelton and Kofi got to their feet, and Shelton tried for a spin kick. Kingston ducked, and Shelton accidentally kicked Mike Knox was behind Kingston. Kofi laughed as he left the ring and exited up the ramp.

Winner: Kofi Kingston wins due to disqualification of Mike Knox.

Highlights shown from Monday's Raw with Million Dollar Mania. Vince McMahon called various contestants to give away cash prizes up to $300,000. Pictures were shown of the various winners.

Backstage, Honrswoggle & Finlay were in an office with Teddy Long and his new assistant, Tiffany. Finlay and Hornswoggle signed a contract to set up their tag team title match against Miz & Morrison at Night of Champions. Tiffany suggested the possibility that the two might be separated by the WWE draft next week. Just then, Miz came in to argue with Teddy Long about setting up the tag title match. Finlay responded by clocking Miz with his shilaleigh.

CM Punk vs. John Morrison

During a seesaw match, Morrison gained momentum and went for the suplex on Punk. Punk flipped over Morrison's back, landing on both feet, then shoved Morrison to the corner. As Punk ran at him, Morrison escaped outside to the apron, then kicked Punk. Morrison tried to dive over the ropes at Punk, but Punk caught him, then hit the Go To Sleep for the win!

After Punk's win, Miz came out to the top of the ramp holding an ice bag on his head. Miz vowed that he and Morrison will still be tag champs after Night of Champions.

Kane & Big Show Confrontation

Teddy Long was in the ring and introduced both competitors for the ECW title match at Night of Champions. Show arrived to the ring, then Kane the ECW champ came down. Both men had the opportunity to speak. Big Show reminded Kane they had worked together in the past as tag partners, but this time Kane has something he wants, the ECW title. Show vowed to take his ECW title back. Kane laughed it off, saying Show knows him well, but he doesn't know how far Kane will go to keep his title. Big Show told Kane he's willing to put him through hell to win the ECW belt. The two got in each others faces,and Teddy Long tried to intervene. Mark Henry came out from backstage and down to the ring. Henry told Show and Kane to save their strength and calm down. Mark told them that if he isn't drafted this coming Monday, he plans to challenge and beat whoever is ECW champ after Night of Champions. Kane & Show gave each other a look then did a double chokeslam to slam Henry to the mat. ECW ended with the two behemoths staring each other down in the ring.
