Summerslam 2008 Highlights

The Batista videos above highlight his matches on Smackdown, Raw, at Pay-Per-Views and elsewhere. Batista currently appears on the Raw television program after several years of being a Smackdown superstar. He was drafted during the 2008 WWE Draft, moving over to Raw. Batista eventually was able to defeat Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship at Cyber Sunday 2008. The fans had voted for Stone Cold Steve Austin to be special guest referee.

Even though Austin served as referee, the two other choices, Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton, were sent down to officiate when things got out of control. JBL also interfered in the contest. Shawn Michaels nearly delivered a Superkick to Chris Jericho, but Jericho avoided it. Unfortunately for Y2J, he turned and met with the full force of The Animal. Eventually Stone Cold Steve Austin was back in the ring, and Batista was able to slam down Jericho for the victory, winning back the belt he held over on Smackdown. Batista continues to entertain fans night in and night out, and has a powerful style combined with a strong work ethic that make him truly one of the greats!
