Matt Hardy opened SmackDown by coming out to the ring to explain his actions at Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view when he hit his brother Jeff with a chair shot, costing him the WWE title.

R-Truth vs. The Brian Kendrick

As the two superstars collided yet again, Truth was able to pick up the pinfall victory.

MVP vs. Chavo Guerrero

MVP continued his winning streak after Chavo missed a Frog Splash attempt.

Winner: MVP wins via pinfall over Chavo Guerrero.

Umaga vs. Jimmy Wang Yang

Umaga made his return to Smackdown's show and defeated Jimmy Wang Yang for a comeback win.

Winner: Umaga wins via pinfall over Jimmy Wang Yang.

Undertaker vs. Mark Henry
Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match #1

The first of several Smackdown matches to determine contenders for the No Way Out Elimination Chamber (WWE Title), saw The Undertaker defeat the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry.

The Undertaker defeated Mark Henry to earn a spot in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out.

Edge & Vickie talked about the WWE title and No Way Out's Elimination Chamber. The Big Show finally came out to interrupt their promo as he was in the next match.

Big Show vs. Festus
Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match 2

In the second of the Elimination Qualifying Matches, Big Show was able to defeat Festus earning the third spot in the Chamber (Undertaker, Edge). Just three spots remain to be filled.

Big Show defeated Festus to earn a spot in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out.

Triple H vs. Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Great Khali
Triple Threat Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Triple H was able to win after hitting a Pedigree on The Great Khali to earn a spot in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out. Now there are just 2 spots left for the Elimination Chamber with Edge defending his WWE title against Undertaker, Big Show and Triple H.

Winner: Triple H wins via pinfall over The Great Khali to earn a spot in No Way Out's Elimination Chamber Match.
