Update on Maryse's Injury

Last week there was news of WWE Diva Maryse injuring her knee at a live house show in Raleigh, North Carolina. This came not long after Maryse had claimed the WWE Divas Championship on Smackdown by defeating Michelle McCool. Recently, over at WWE Universe, Maryse updated her blog with an entry called "my knee injury", all about the situation:

Last week while performing in the ring in Raleigh, North Carolina i hit a bad move an dislocated my right knee cap. While backstage it took approximatly 35 to 40 minutes to replace it, my knee cap was completly out. No surgery will be needed. I would like to thank Dc. Martha Dodson and our special trainer Larry Heck to save my leg, they really did. Thank you sooo much!!! I want to let all my fans know that im doing great and doing rehabilitation every day in Los Angeles where i live. Im recovering really fast. Thanks for all the support !!!

Based on this it appears the injury won't keep Maryse away from action too long or cause her to give up the WWE Divas Championship. There's also been recent rumors that former WWE Diva Gail Kim will be making her comeback and go on to feud with Maryse on Smackdown for the title.
