The Rock Answers Plus Evan Bourne & Maryse News

Last night's Raw finally brought the big answer everyone was expecting. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will partner up with John Cena at Survivor Series 2011. Rock gave his answer at the start of the show saying he's doing it for "the people" and his dislike of Miz and Truth. This match will give a teaser of Cena and Rock in the same ring, albeit as a tag team. Most likely, they'll pull one of those sorts of finishes where each guy blind tags the other to try to show them up with finishing moves.

It's also been reported that Evan Bourne of the tag team champs Air Boom has been suspended for 30 days due to violation of WWE's Wellness Policy. This could put the tag team titles in jeopardy or not. Bourne tweeted on Tuesday: "Love you guys! I'll be back in a flash. Air Boom will not be derailed!" Bourne is the most recent start suspended for this violation, following in the footsteps of Darren Young and Heath Slater who were suspended in October.

Also, something that occurred this past weekend was the unfortunate release of WWE diva Maryse. Maryse hadn't been on TV a whole lot in recent times, with her hosting and storyline involvement on NXT among her latest roles. Still, it's a shame to see this beauty let go. However, it appears WWE is grooming divas like Aksana, AJ and Kaitlyn to be its latest eye candy. Maryse released the following statement about her release, talking about her "future endeavors."

“After six fantastic years with the WWE, I’ve decided to move on and begin the next chapter of my life. Thank you to all of my fans, colleagues and the WWE Universe.

Living in Los Angeles, I look forward to continuing my career in entertainment and creating new and exciting content!"

Best of luck to Maryse, and let's hope TNA does not snatch her away!

The Miz is PWI #1 & Maryse's Stalker

In the latest WWE news, WWE Diva Maryse (Maryse Ouellet) has filed a restraining order against a man who she claims is obsessed with her. The man is named Lee Silber and is 61-years-old, but has said he plans to come to LA to see Maryse and will "take her to heaven with him."

The recent report on TMZ notes that the man has sent letters promising Maryse a check for $100,000, and a 100-carat diamond ring worth $20,000,000 to prove he is Maryse's friend. Maryse has said she's received more than 50 voicemails on her personal cell phone as well as many "terrifying letters" sent to her home. Due to all of this she has filed in LA County Superior Court as she said "I fear for my life." Maryse has reported added more security at home too, as she attempts to get this crazy stalker off her case. This is one of those scary incidents where life has imitated art a bit, as fans will recall WWE Raw had a mini-storyline involving what appeared to be a secret admirer for Maryse. It turned out to be Goldust, and he was more obsessed with the Million Dollar Belt because it was "Golddddd."

Also mentioned in TMZ's article briefly is the wrestler Maryse was linked to romantically, The Miz. The Miz is recently getting plenty of buzz over the fact he was named #1 on the PWI 500 wrestling list. Miz makes the cover of the issue and has plenty of fans debating whether he belongs there.

The Miz won Money in the Bank back in July 2010, and then went on to cash in on Raw in November of 2010 to defeat Orton for the WWE Championship. Miz held the belt until May of this year, when John Cena defeated him in the Triple Threat cage match. Miz has also held the United States Championship and part of the tag team titles during his career. However, it appears the ranking is based more on Miz's appeal to fans, and his ability to sell a new character. He really was able to generate heat and crowd response during his feud with Cena, as well as pulling off a victory over Cena at Wrestlemania (with The Rock's help).

Another aspect of The Miz is that he was able to help put Daniel Bryan over a bit more with the fans, and has done the same with Alex Riley. That is a characteristic most wrestling organizations want, as The Miz has been able to get media attention and help push other wrestlers. Is the Miz the best "wrestler" per se? Probably not, but his level of improvement has been leaps and bounds over some others. It would be hard to choose anyone else over The Miz in terms of his ability to sell, especially with some of his promo/mic work.

What it looks like will be next for Miz after failing to win the WWE Championship back on Monday, is a feud with HHH. It was hinted at during his interview with Josh Matthews on Raw, when Miz blamed Cena and Triple H for ruining WWE. There's been rumors that it will be The Miz vs Triple H at Wrestlemania 28, and that could certainly be something the WWE is working towards right now.

WWE NXT Results 07/20/11

WWE NXT Results from MN:

Titus told Young it only matters what he does in this ring. Titus picked up the dummy and then tossed it over the ropes out at Young. Maryse polled the crowd for response on who the winner should be, and Titus easily got the crowd cheers of the three competitors. He did his dog barking several times as Young and Bateman talked trash at him from outside the ring. Grisham said Titus is now miles away from his competitors with redemption points.

Coming up next, Regal said he can't wait as Jimmy the Gimmick aka JTG faces Vlad Kozlov.

Regal talked about Alberto Del Rio winning the Raw Money in the Bank match to get the briefcase and championship match contract. Regal informed fans they can check out exclusive pics and info on WWE.com from the Pay-Per-View.

Vladimir Kozlov vs JTG

JTG came out with a mic in hand saying it's quite obvious Vlad doesn't know what a gangsta is. JTG said his speech goes out to all the haters in Minnesota too. He told Kozlov when he wakes up and looks in the mirror every day, he'll never be as fly as JTG.

After break, the match started with JTG shoving Kozlov a bit. Kozlov rushed at him and took him down, with JTG getting under the ropes to escape. Kozlov continued with momentum, knocking JTG down with a shoulder block. JTG rolled out of the ring to recover, but Vlad went out and grabbed him. On his way back in the ring, Vlad got kicked off the apron by JTG, who then shoved him into the ringpost outside.

Later on, JTG hit a missile dropkick from off the corner to take Vlad down. JTG continue to maintain control and had a near fall. Kozlov made his comeback though, and had battering ram headbutts on JTG. He tried for a running powerslam, but JTG slid off and clipped his leg. JTG tried to rush from against the ropes, but Kozlov shoved him down hard. He followed with the one-arm slam finisher to win it.

Winner: Vladimir Kozlov wins via pinfall over JTG.

Backstage, Hornswoggle had a pink heart-shaped box he was carrying as he went up to Maryse. He showed it to her and acted as if it was a gift from her. Maryse said it looks like he has a secret admirer, but said it wasn't her. Horney grabbed her by the leg and she yelled for him to get off her. Maryse opened the heart box of Skittles and dumped them all over Horney, then shoved him down and threw the box at him. Maryse stormed off, but a WWE staffer came rushing up with a package for Hornswoggle. Horney opened it to find a small yellow stuffed animal. He acted puzzled over who gave him all of the gifts.

Yoshi Tatsu was shown backstage walking into the locker room. Suddenly he stopped and the camera showed a jar of rocks dumped over and Yoshi's action figure dismembered. Yoshi screamed out "TYSON!!!!" Grisham pointed out, that was Yoshi's action figure.

Titus O'Neil vs. Darren Young

Hornswoggle accompanied Titus O'Neil to the ring. Young and Titus locked up around the ring early, with the ref separating them in the corner. Young used that as his moment to grab Titus in a headlock and bring him down to one knee. Titus soon gained the advantage with multiple slams to the mat. He locked an abdominal stretch on to further punish Young.

Young tried to leave the match, walking up the ramp at one point, but Titus ran up and retrieved him then brought him back to the ring for more. An Irish whip to the corner sent Young out over the corner to the floor. As the match progressed, Derrick Bateman arrived down to ringside area to watch, right as NXT went to a commercial.

The match returned with Young controlling things with a headlock. Bateman was shown at ringside with some sort of photo or picture in hand. Young had another headlock on Titus, but the big man powered out of it and gave a hip toss to throw Young away.

Later in the match, Hornswoggle was on the apron arguing a call with the ref. Titus tried to go against the ropes, but Bateman tripped him to the mat. The move backfired for Bateman though, because Young missed on a dropkick attempt due to Titus falling. Titus was still able to get up and finish off Young with the Clash of the Titus finisher. Titus hoisted Hornswoggle on his shoulders to celebrate the win. Bateman had a mean look on his mug outside the ring.

Winner: Titus O'Neil wins via pinfall over Darren Young.

The episode of NXT ended with the confrontation on last night's Raw involving Vince McMahon, John Cena and then Triple H. The show ended with Triple H announcing he would be taking over the day-to-day operations of the WWE company and that Vince has been relieved of his position. John Cena was not fired.

WWE NXT Results 07/12/11

WWE NXT Results from Mohegan Sun Casino, CT:

They showed highlights of the big shocker that Derrick Bateman from Season 4 would join the competition against finalists Titus O'Neil and Darren Young. On last week's show, Bateman and his pro Daniel Bryan defeated Titus and Young in the main event tag match.

Grisham reminded fans that Money in the Bank is in five days in Chicago. Derrick Bateman came out to start off the show. Bateman went over and shook hands with Regal before getting into the ring to pose. Bateman got on the mic to welcome fans to NXT. Bateman said the WWE begged and pleaded for him to come back and save the show. He said his opponents are seeking redemption, but he's going to redeem redemption. Bateman promised to redeem the entire WWE. The crowd started to boo, and then Darren Young came out to interrupt.

Young asked him who he thinks he is, reminding him of what he's done in the past, main eventing Summerslam, wrestling John Cena on Raw. He told Bateman he's done more in WWE already than Bateman will ever do. He then said Titus O'Neil isn't a D-Young, but at least he's been there all 19 weeks of the competitions. Bateman interrupted to ask why he's defending Titus O'Neil. Hornswoggle's music hit and Titus O'Neil came out to intervene in the convo.

The three rookies got into an argument in the ring, and almost got into a physical confrontation. That brought out Maryse to intervene. She spoke on the mic from the stage, saying the three rooks can try to prove themselves in a Triple Threat Elimination match next.

Titus O'Neil vs. Derrick Bateman vs. Darren Young
Triple Threat Elimination Match

Bateman got knocked out of the ring early leaving Titus O'Neil and Young to battle it out inside. Titus whipped Young hard to the corner, causing Young to fly over the corner and hit the outside floor. Bateman tried to help him and get an alliance. The two competitors got back in the ring to attack Titus together. They continued the strategy landing a doubleteam supled on Titus for a near fall.

The crowd started up a Daniel Bryan chant as Bateman got knocked out of the ring. Young kept kicking away on Titus to keep wearing him down. They hit multiple leg drops on Titus as he was layed off the edge of the apron. Titus finally started to make a comeback as he isolated Bateman in the corner, then took down Young for a near fall.

For the first elimination, Titus hit a huge sit out powerbomb slam on Young. Bateman rushed in and hit a big dropkick on Titus, then stole the pin to eliminate Young first. NXT went to commercial, then returned with Bateman in control of O'Neil in the ring. Titus had several huge chest chops in the corner, then countered an Irish Whip to send Bateman to the corner for a splash.

Titus started up a huge bit of momentum and hit a major sidewalk slam backbreaker then did his dog barking. He tossed Bateman backwards across the ring, then quickly crawled over for a near fall. Titus went for a big clothesline from the corner, but Bateman ducked it. He used his finisher which was similar to the Skullcrushing Finale to win it.

Winner: Derrick Bateman wins via pinfall over Titus O'Neil.

Grisham introduced the Money in the Bank ladder match highlights video that was shown during last night's episode of Raw. The rules were explained of climbing the ladder to retrieve the MITB briefcase which contains a WWE contract for a title shot at anytime, any place. Highlights included various MITB ladder matches involving Jericho, Ziggler, Punk, Shelton Benjamin, Kane, Orton, Edge and others. They took a look at the Smackdown MITB ladder match competitors.

Grisham said tonight is the rubber match between Yoshi Tatsu and Tyson Kidd.

NXT returned with a shot inside the Mohegan Sun casino looking at the gambling tables in one section. Grisham brought up Money in the Bank and the possible consequences of CM Punk winning Sunday's WWE Championship match at the PPV. They replayed highlights of CM Punk's rants and blunt statements on Raw, then showed the contract signing where Punk asked for perks for his contract. Punk tore apart his contract after getting punched down by Cena on Raw in Boston. Punk has vowed he will defeat Cena on Sunday and take the WWE Championship with him when he leaves.

Hornswoggle was backstage in the locker room staring at a framed picture of Maryse. Bottles of root beer were all over the table. Titus O'Neil came in to ask where Hornswoggle was for his match earlier. He saw Horney staring at the picture and confronted him about it saying he needs to get over her. Just then a man walked in with a package for a Mr. H. Swoggle. It was a small box with candy inside. Horney opened it and started to munch on them, then looked at the picture thinking it was from Maryse. Titus just shook his head trying to tell him it wasn't Maryse who sent them.

Vlad Kozlov was shown talking on his cell phone backstage when JTG came over and got in his face. JTG said he came to see if he was interested in another friendly wager. Kozlov reminded him that he lost their last bet. JTG said this time he bets him that he can't be more gangsta than him. JTG said Kozlov looks scared. Kozlov said he's got a deal, and then erupted with a "Booooooy!" before snapping his fingers in JTG's face. JTG was stunned and asked "what just happened?" as Kozlov walked off.

Yoshi arrived out first followed by Kidd who was proudly wearing his necklace with the Yoshi action figure's leg on it as a pendant. Yoshi had an early advantage until he rolled out of the ring and back in, allowing Kidd to attack.

Yoshi started a comeback with chest chops and a chest take down followed by quick kicks. Yoshi went for a jumping move at Kidd in the corner, with Kidd avoiding it, then jumping back up to slam Yoshi backwards onto the mat. Both guys were down, with Yoshi rolling to the outside holding his head as NXT went to commercial.

NXT returned with Kidd locking Yoshi's neck in the headscissors submission on the mat. He broke it off then did an elbow drop. He tried to send Yoshi to the ropes, with Yoshi coming back for a near fall attempt.

Later still, Yoshi gained momentum again with chest chops and a slingshot of Kidd to the corner, followed by a German suplex bridge pinfall. Kidd kicked out and managed to take out one of Yoshi's legs, then started up his own burst of momentum. Yoshi knocked Kidd out of the ring then prepared for a running jump over the ropes. Kidd was quick up to the apron with a Pele kick to Yoshi's head. He went for a springboard splash elbow drop but Yoshi got both knees up.

The finish saw Kidd try for a moonsault off the corner. Yoshi moved out of the way and Kidd hit the mat. Yoshi followed with a backwards bridge pinfall rollup to win it. He went over and retrieved the necklace with his action figure leg on it from the corner of the ring. Yoshi raised it up in victory, but Kidd smashed him down, grabbed the necklace/chain and escaped the ring. Yoshi angrily looked out at Kidd as he backed up the ramp.

Regal called the challenge one of the most diabolical things he's seen in recent times.

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Tyson Kidd

They showed footage of how Tyson Kidd tore apart Yoshi's action figure in the locker room last week. Yoshi attacked Kidd for it, causing two refs to pull him back. Regal said he'd be upset too if someone tore up his action figure. Tyson Kidd arrived out wearing the broken leg of Yoshi's action figure on a chain around his neck.

Early on, Yoshi got in a roundhouse kick and Kidd went to the outside. Outside the ring, Yoshi continued with chest chops on Kidd near the crowd barrier. He tossed Kidd back in the ring, but Kidd gained control as Yoshi got in. Kidd knocked Yoshi out of the ring right before commercial. Kidd continued to stay in control of Yoshi after break. Yoshi made a comeback and after a kick to Kidd seated on the mat, Yoshi had the near fall. He slowly went to the corner for a high risk move. Kidd rushed over for a superplex attempt, but Yoshi dropped him face first to the mat. Yoshi followed with a spinning hip/leg to the head. Kidd managed to barely escape the pinfall.

In the closing moments, Yoshi went for his roundhouse kick, but Kidd dropkicked him in the shin, then hit a snap suplex-style move for the win.

Bateman said he doesn't have a dog bark, but he does have a wonderful personality and the greatest pro in the history of professionals.

Backstage, Hornswoggle had a boquet of dead flowers, Twizzlers and banana peels. Titus tried to tell Hornswoggle he needs to give it up. Hornswoggle didn't listen and rushed over to Maryse and gave the bouquet to her. She pretended to be in awe of them, then told Hornswoggle to close his eyes for a little something. He sprayed some breath spray in his mouth and closed his eyes. Maryse smashed the bouquet over Hornswoggle's head and yelled stuff at him in French before storming off. Titus came over and told Horney there's plenty of other women out there.

Daniel Bryan & Derrick Bateman vs. Darren Young & Titus O'Neil

Titus took control early on Derrick Bateman and did his dog bark to the crowd. Regal talked about how Titus keeps getting better and better. A tag was made to bring Darren Young in to work on Bateman some more. Titus was back in again and slammed Bateman down for a near fall, then tagged Young back in. Regal spoke about how the two NXT rooks should do their best to get rid of Bateman from the competition.

Bateman managed to knock Young into Titus and then knocked Titus off the apron. He finally tagged in Bryan who came in on fire. Bryan with a running flip off the corner and a big clothesline on Young from against the ropes. Bryan had a huge diving headbutt move for a near fall on Young.

Bateman hit a face forward slam move similar to Skullcrushing Finale to get the pinfall on Darren Young.

Winners: Derrick Bateman & Daniel Bryan win via pinfall over Darren Young & Titus O'Neil.

Regal and Grisham talked about what's going on with Raw involving CM Punk, Vince McMahon and John Cena. They introduced a video of what happened on last night's Raw when Mr. McMahon showed up to address John Cena's comments. Vince said he suspended Punk because he deserved it, and that he did it for the WWE Universe, because it's best for them. He added how CM Punk was trying to get all sorts of incentives to renew his contract. Vince said Punk got what he deserved.

John Cena came out to prevent McMahon from leaving after saying that. He confronted Vince for being afraid to fight for freedom of speech. Cena stated his case that he wants the match against CM Punk at Money in the Bank. McMahon admitted he doesn't want to be embarrassed by Cena losing the title to Punk and having him take the WWE Championship away.

Cena tried to stir Vince up asking if McMahon would suspend him if he said something he didn't like. Vince told Cena he doesn't want to take the chance that Cena will lose to Punk. Cena told Vince to give the people what they really want and to not let his ego get in the way.

Vince told Cena it's his company not Cena's, and before Cena there were others. Cena handed the WWE Championship belt to Vince and said he doesn't want to be a part of what this company is. Cena walked up the ramp but Vince told him to hold it. He walked up there with the belt in hand and told Cena he would reinstate Punk for the MITB match. He added that if Cena loses the match at MITB he's fired.

NXT ended with the Raw highlights and no sign-off from Grisham or Regal on NXT.

Conor O'Brian has 3 points, Darren Young has 7 points, and Titus O'Neil has 22 points.

Striker said it's time for the elimination, so they showed the three flashing rookies' pictures up on the Titantron. After several moments it stopped on Conor O'Brian's headshot. He finished with a message to Hunter, saying all he wants is an opportunity to "play the game."

Striker said Titus O'Neil and Darren Young won't be going to the finals alone, they'll be joined by this man. Derrick Bateman arrived out with his pro, Daniel Bryan. Regal said Bateman was from Season 4. Grisham said it seems Bateman has a shot to win NXT Season 5 now. They showed the clip of Conor O'Brian learning he was the latest elimination as NXT went off the air.

WWE NXT Results 06/07/11

NXT Results from Roanoke, VA:

The show opened with JTG doing an in-ring segment called "Straight Outta Brooklyn." JTG had Yoshi Tatsu as his guest and made all sorts of insulting remarks about how Byron Saxton was eliminated due to Yoshi being infatuated with Maryse. He said Maryse dumped him because he has a "small, tiny..." The segment seemed to end with JTG's music playing and him raising Yoshi's arm up. Yoshi turned his back on JGT who then attacked him. Matt Striker chimed in on the mic and suggested a Yoshi vs JTG match which the crowd seemed in support of.

Yoshi Tatsu vs JTG

Late in the match, JTG avoided a big kick from Yoshi then grabbed him in a waist lock on the mat. He started to trash talk Yoshi a bit trying to keep him grounded. Yoshi got to his feet though and escaped JTG's suplex attempt. From there he followed with the roundhouse kick on JTG for the big pinfall win.

Winner: Yoshi Tatsu wins via pinfall over JTG.

The latest round of NXT elimination voting opens on WWE.com as of 12 Noon EST Wednesday.

William Regal and Todd Grisham talked Capitol Punishment and pondered what if the president had a press conference about it. They replayed the R-Truth mock press bit from last night's Raw.

Backstage, they had a routine with Conor O'Brian trying to break a board with his head. Hornswoggle tried to do it first though but couldn't. Titus O'Neil came into the scene and helped shove Horney into the board to break it. Vladimir Kozlov told Conor O'Brian he made it a win.

Conor O'Brian & Vladimir Kozlov vs. Chavo Guerrero & Darren Young

In the late part of this match, Kozlov was being doubleteamed by Chavo/Young. He eventually made the big tag to Conor O'Brian, but in the final sequence the four-man brawl resulted in Young hitting a finisher on O'Brian for the win.

Winners: Chavo Guerrero & Darren Young win via pinfall over Conor O'Brian & Vladimir Kozlov.

They had a promotional bit for "That's What I Am" and another reminder of tomorrow's NXT voting on WWE.com.

Titus O'Neil vs. Lucky Cannon

Cannon arrived out with his pro, Tyson Kidd, and Maryse. Apparently, Cannon had bought Maryse a new purse earlier in the day and Maryse tweeted about it. She had it with her at ringside.

Late in the match, Hornswoggle gave Maryse a special present, a velvet case with a candy necklace inside it. Horney grabbed Maryse by the leg and she clocked him with the purse. Lucky Cannon saw this and was distracted by yelling at Horney. Maryse's purse suddenly was revealed to be fake when it exploded. Maryse was angry about that and smacked Lucky with the purse. As he turned around, Titus O'Neil hit him with the finisher.

Winner: Titus O'Neil wins via pinfall over Lucky Cannon.

The show ended with Maryse storming backstage and Titus/Hornswoggle celebrating in the ring.

What's Up With WWE Diva Kharma?

Quite an interesting past few days with the Pay-Per-View results giving not much in terms of new champions or surprises. The WWE has had some good opportunities to really rev things up, but has failed to do so. One case in point may be WWE Diva Kharma.

Kharma is of course the former TNA Knockout champ, Awesome Kong. For weeks her role has been to interrupt matches on Raw or Smackdown or at PPV's. She's used her finisher on the likes of Eve Torres, Layla and one of the Bella Twins. Kharma was absent from the latest PPV, Over The Limit 2011 though.

Then came Raw. There was an 8 divas tag match involving Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix against Melina, Maryse and The Bella Twins. Before the match was a minute or more underway, Kharma interrupted and headed to the ring looking to cause some damage.

Except she didn't do a thing really. She got in the ring, allowed herself to be surrounded by divas and then fell to her knees crying. It puzzled, the divas in the ring, a lot of viewers, and wrestling analysts as to what in the heck was going on. Was Kharma showing her vulnerabilities after weeks of superiority? She went from mighty force to be reckoned with all the way down to babbling baby.

When the Kelly Kelly vs Brie Bella match for OTL was put in place, it seemed like Kelly was destined to win the Divas championship. Karma's been eyeing her for weeks, so it made more sense that Kharma would defeat Kelly for the divas title rather than a heel, like Brie. However, Kelly lost at OTL and Kharma never showed up.

So what's up with Kharma? Over at Diva Dirt they ran a poll to have fans vote on what's going on. The popular choice is "It's all an act! She's lulling the Divas into a false sense of security. 47.71% (699 votes)." Coming in 2nd is "It's all an act! She's lulling the Divas into a false sense of security. 47.71% (699 votes)."

One of the comments there suggests that Karma felt ganged up on by "the pretty divas" similar to the pretty girls who used to make fun of her when she was younger. So it's very likely that's why she takes out aggression on pretty dolls and has been admiring Kelly Kelly. They may even become friends, but it just seems to defeat the whole point of weeks of decimating divas in the ring.

If anything, Kharma should've fought off the divas one by one, battle royal style, tossing them out over the ropes. Only problem is, Beth Phoenix seems like the one who could really give a good battle with "Awesome Kong" aka Kharma. Let's hope it's headed that way!

Darren Young came out first to the ring for the show. Young talked about how he defeated Titus O'Neil last week, something none of the other rookies have been able to do. Young talked about how Titus makes him sick with that bark he does. Young showed a key hanging around his neck, saying he's got the key to Titus' weakness. He said he'll never find Hornswoggle again, never beat him and never win NXT.

That brought Titus O'Neil out to the ring to confront Young.

Titus O'Neil vs. Darren Young

Regal asked where Chavo Guerrero is tonight and Grisham had no idea. Early in the match, Titus started off good, but Young made a comeback out of the corner to take him down.

Byron ducked Yoshi's running kick then took him down. He managed a near fall, then locked a headlock on him. Yoshi fought back to his feet then chopped at his rookie a bit, before taking him down with kicks. Kozlov punched through his piece of wood and then O'Brian headbutted his to break it. A fight ensued because the crowd easily chose Kozlov and O'Brian as the winners. As NXT went to break, Kozlov had kicked JTG out of the ring. Enraged, JTG yelled if Kozlov wants a fight he'll get one.

The show returned with this match in progress. Kozlov took control down on the mat with a headlock. At one point, JTG was knocked out of the ring and went over to the commentators table to talk trash to Regal. Regal told him "don't worry about me" and Kozlov grabbed JTG to throw in the ring. As Kozlov tried to get in, Novak came over to distract him, allowing JTG to dropkick Kozlov off the apron and take control.

JTG hit the Mugshot at one point in the match but failed to win with the pinfall attempt. Kozlov bounced back and headbutted JTG multiple times in the chest, then set up for a running powerslam. Backstage, Yoshi went into Maryse's dressing room where she was putting on makeup. Yoshi asked if she saw his match and she said she missed it. She asked if he saw the new purse Lucky bought her and talked about how great it is. Yoshi said he thinks she likes things more than people. He said it's time they broke up, then walked out. Maryse yelled that they can't break up because they never were in a relationship. Just then, Lucky walked in and told her she needs a shopping spree tonight. He said he'll take her on one after the elimination tonight.

They showed the behind the scenes for "That's What I Am" with Randy Orton talking about how great it is to be in his first film and with Ed Harris. They also talked about the big kiss scene between the two young co-stars Chase Ellison and Mia Rose Frampton.

All of the rookies were lined up (except Titus) at the bottom of the ramp in front of the ring. Maryse was on the mic saying that sadly one of them will go home tonight. Striker said it was time to see who the first elimination of the season is. The big screen rolled through the rookie choices, then finally stopped on Jacob Novak's picture.

Novak was furious and tore off his shades, bandana and chain. Novak said it's twice now the people have shut him out. He said bottom line is he will be in the WWE and Redemption will be his. He told everyone to watch their back, because the day they don't flinch is the day he knocks them out.

Regal said he wasn't surprised about this at all, but said he was happy he won't have to see his face anymore. Novak went up the ramp where JTG was all animated. JTG yelled at the crowd for hating on his rookie. As NXT ended they showed the replay of Novak learning he was tonight's elimination and throwing his hands up in frustration.

Tonight's first competition for the rookies was worth 4 points called "How Well Do You Know Your Pro?" First question, pros had to write on a dry erase board what their rookie does better than the rest. Saxton and Conor got theirs wrong. Darren Young got on the mic saying he doesn't care what Chavo said, and he thinks he's a better wrestler than him. They gave Novak the first correct answer even though they were different. Regal and Grisham talked over how Novak has been on his case, and crossed the line in England last week.

WWE.com is currently presenting a digital edition of WWE Magazine on their website.

Regal said the signal meant if he messes with me he'll be scarred for life. JTG did his "aka" introduction for Novak to a flat crowd reaction. Novak got on the mic and reminded Regal he embarrassed him in front of his entire country. He said Regal's career is over while Novak's is just getting started.

Regal stood up and got a mic to respond. Regal told him he's not going to let a pathetic muppet like him talk trash without doing something about it. Regal said he'll take his jacket, climb in the ring and have a match right now. Regal prepared to get in the ring, but Novak got back on the mic. He asked several times if Regal wants to fight, then said it's not gonna happen, because he's got a real match scheduled. Novak said when they fight it will be on his terms, next week.

Vladimir Kozlov & Conor O'Brian vs. Jacob Novak & JTG

Kozlov took control early on against Novak, then tagged in Conor for some double teaming takedown. Regal called JTG a waste of space in the WWE.

After a break in the action, Novak and JTG were able to team up on O'Brian. The ref warned them about a possible DQ for not backing off on him. They kept working the in and out tags and doubleteam to wear Conor down. Novak kept O'Brian down in an armlock with the crowd trying to rally Conor to break it.

Conor O'Brian tagged in. Novak managed to knock Kozlov out of the match, then ducked O'Brian's attempt to boot him down for the win.

Post-match, JTG and Novak taunted Regal through the ropes.

Randy Orton and Sin Cara to SmackDown. Alberto Del Rio to Raw, Mark Henry to Smackdown. In the final match of the night, a six man tag match, Team Raw defeated Cena's Team Smackdown. The final pick of the night sent John Cena back to Raw.

Grisham said the draft continued today on WWE.com, but none of the draft moves will affect this Sunday's Extreme Rules PPV. He and Regal ran down the list of matches for the card.

Backstage, Maryse was walking fast down the hallway saying she needed to talk to Yoshi. She told him that the purse he bought her is gone and someone stole it. She started talking in French, then suggested maybe it was "him." Yoshi asked if it was Lucky? Maryse started to walk off. Yoshi went down the hall and found Byron Saxton, asking if he saw Lucky. Saxton said he'll be facing him in the ring next if Yoshi really wants to find him. He complained that he wished Yoshi would spend half as much time as he does with Maryse, acting as his NXT pro. Byron left for the match, leaving Yoshi standing alone in the hall.

Byron Saxton vs. Lucky Cannon

Maryse was seated at ringside to watch the match. Lucky walked over to Maryse saying he had nothing to do with it. Maryse wasn't hearing it though. Yoshi angrily said something from near the ropes to him.

Cannon gained control during the match, as he kneed Saxton against the middle ropes to choke him. He followed by whipping him hard to the corner. Saxton fell to the mat, where Lucky hit two huge leg drops and then settled into a headlock.

Todd Grisham mentioned that Tyson Kidd and Yoshi Tatsu were both involved in today's WWE draft moves.

Saxton started a comeback, and eventually hit a huge clothesline from off the corner area. He had a rollup near fall with Lucky kicking out. Byron had an impressive slam move to the mat for a near fall, with Kidd rushing over to put Lucky's leg on the ropes. Yoshi came over and tossed Kidd against the crowd barrier. Lucky dropkicked Yoshi through the ropes. Lucky went over and told Maryse he had nothing to do with it.

Yoshi got back up and went over to chase Lucky. Lucky slid under the ropes into the ring, with Yoshi going after him. Yoshi started to beat him up so the ref called for the bell.

Post-match, Saxton was livid over Yoshi interfering, so he hit a finishing move to flatten him on the mat. Lucky walked up behind Saxton, grabbed him and hit a unique slam move with Saxton on his shoulders. He looked over at Maryse to see if she was impressed. Maryse kept smirking as NXT went off the air.

Winner: Lucky Cannon wins due to DQ of Byron Saxton when Yoshi Tatsu interfered.

Natalya vs. Maryse

Scott Stanford and Josh Matthews were on commentary for this Raw divas match in London, England. Natalya gave a lucky fan a kiss on her way to the ring. Early on, Maryse slapped Natalya in the face in the corner. Natalya came fighting right back.

Natalya got the surfboard submission on Maryse, with Matthews noting Natalya shoulders were down so the ref should count a pinfall. Maryse came back to kick Natalya into the corner turnbuckle.

Natalya managed to power out of a chin lock to slam Maryse back onto the mat. Natalya hit a huge clothesline for a nearfall, then a powerslam for another. The ref pulled Natalya away from Maryse in the corner, so Maryse was able to slap Natalya, then toss her into the ringpost shoulder first. Maryse hit her French Kiss DDT for the win.

Matthews reviewed the replay with Stanford and said he was impressed by Maryse's comeback to win the match.

Winner: Maryse wins via pinfall over Natalya.

WWE NXT Results 04/19/11

NXT Results from London, UK:

Josh Matthews kicked things off on commentary from the O2 Arena. Matthews was joined by William Regal. They sent it up to hostess Maryse on stage. Maryse introduced each of the NXT rookies: Lucky Cannon, Darren Young, Conor O'Brian, Byron Saxton, Jacob Novak and Titus O'Neil.

Time for the first challenge of the night. Maryse explained the challenge but didn't explain it very well, saying she would decide who got a bye to the finals. The two rookies would get on pedestals and grab opposite ends of the rope. The objective was to use their strength to pull their opponent off their pedestal.

Byron Saxton vs Conor O'Brian was the first pairing. O'Brian yanked hard and Saxton went flying down to the ramp. Young went against Novak and both men fell at once. A replay revealed that Novak was the winner of that pair. Lucky Cannon went against Titus O'Neil, the leader in redemption points. Lucky Cannon took a shortened rope and claimed that Titus O'Neil cheated. The refs called for a DQ on Titus, giving Lucky the win.

Maryse chose Lucky as the most obnoxious winner so he got a bye to the finals. Conor O'Brian and Jacob Novak determined the other finalist. Conor ended up falling back and losing. That made a finals of Lucky versus Jacob Novak. Novak yelled at the audience to "Shut Up!" as he got up on the pedestal. Lucky stopped competing and threw the rope at Novak, then shoved him off the pedestal. He ran down the ramp claiming it's all about him. Novak was proclaimed winner. Novak grabbed Lucky's robe and put it on, then went backstage. Lucky chased after him.

Matthews introduced a preview trailer for "That's What I Am" starting Ed Harris and WWE star Randy Orton. The movie takes a look at social struggles in school including bullying in schools. The film will be in limited theaters on April 29th.

JTG was in the ring with his rookie Jacob Novak. He introduced him as "Break Your Back Novak" aka "Jacob Novakaine" and a few other names. Novak dissed England saying how privileged he feels to be American after spending time in London. Novak began to taunt William Regal again, asking him to stand up and fight for his country right now. Vlad Kozlov came out from backstage with Conor O'Brian. O'Brian said if he wanted a fight he should've asked. Conor said actions speak louder than words, and his actions will shut him up.

Conor O'Brian vs. Jacob Novak

Regal said both of these rookies need the win for the competition due to their early struggles. Novak got the advantage and hit a huge leg drop for a near fall early on. He put a headlock on O'Brian to wear him down some.

Conor started a comeback, but Novak blasted him down with a clothesline and several moves later had another near fall. Matthews noted Novak keeps looking over towards Regal. Apparently, Novak lacked focus in the match as O'Brian was able to surprise him with a small package pinfall to win it.

Post-match, Novak rolled out of the ring and walked over towards the commentary table. He slammed his hands on the table. Regal stood up and Novak shoved him. Regal threw off his headset and went to fight back, but JTG was there to pull Novak away. Novak looked intimidated as a furious Regal stared at him from a distance.

Winner: Conor O'Brian wins via pinfall over Jacob Novak.

Regal and Matthews talked about R-Truth snapping last night. They rolled the Raw Rebound to replay the events from the start of last night's show. R-Truth made his big speech about how he'd leave Extreme Rules as the new champ and be the most fighting champ in the history of the WWE Title. John Morrison came to the ring and baited him into a match for his #1 contender spot. Morrison said Truth looks great for an athlete who smokes.

Morrison and Truth ended up fighting, with JMo pulling off the big win after Starship Pain. Truth snapped after the loss though and beat up Morrison inside and outside the ring. He hit his finisher on Morrison on one point after repeated knees to the head. Truth lit up a cigarette and smoked in Morrison's face to add insult to injury.

It will be a Triple Threat Steel Cage match for The Miz's WWE Championship. John Cena and John Morrison will be the other 2 competitors.

Backstage, Byron Saxton talked to his pro Yoshi Tatsu. He suggested Yoshi take his time with Maryse and not be in such a rush, taking things so serious so he won't get hurt. Yoshi said Maryse is so sweet though. Just then she arrived into the scene and said hi to them both. Yoshi said Maryse looked beautiful, then she asked what he's up to tonight. She ended up asking Yoshi to go shopping with her so she can pick out some new outfits. Yoshi said he'd love to. Maryse kissed him on the cheek and left. Saxton said it's time to talk strategy for their tag match. He talked but Yoshi was lovestruck and wasn't paying any attention.

Hornswoggle vs. Darren Young

Titus O'Neil brought Horney to the ring, where Chavo was already with his rookie in the ring. Chavo got on the mic to warn Darren Young about how tough Hornswoggle is. The rookie talked about how he knows he can beat Horney, but can Chavo? Chavo then brought up how Young said he can beat Hornswoggle with one arm tied behind his back and blindfolded. Chavo tied an arm behind Young's back then blindfolded him.

Regal said it was obvious Chavo was teaching his rookie a lesson here. The bell finally rang and Young was stumbling around as Horney got in kicks to the shins and legs. Horney played to the crowd and stomped on Young's foot. Chavo distracted the ref at one point, so Young lifted his blindfold to see where Horney was. He delivered a big boot to level Horney, then locked him up. Young took Horney up onto the corner, but the leprechaun headbutted him off. Horney jumped off for the Tadpole Splash to win.

Winner: Hornswoggle wins via pinfall over Darren Young.

Byron Saxton & Yoshi Tatsu vs.

Tyson Kidd & Lucky Cannon

Maryse

sat next to Regal and Matthews to

watch the match. Matthews tried to

ask what Maryse was up to with Yoshi

but didn't get much of answer. Regal

said it's clear Maryse is trying to

spend Yoshi's money.

Lucky and Byron started off, but

Cannon demanded that he tag in Yoshi

instead. Saxton finally obliged with

the dramatic tag. Lucky fought for a

bit but took several kicks and tagged

out to Tyson. Yoshi countered a Kidd

move to flip over him and then did

several hip tosses. Saxton came in

to take control with a near fall.

Meanwhile, Matthews suggested that

Regal has a way with women, but Regal

said he clearly doesn't. Saxton hit

a huge clothesline on Kidd right

before a commercial break.

During that break, they showed

another Awesome Kong promo, this time

with more of her face and a doll with

black hear which she tore apart limb

by limb then tossed onto the floor.

Cannon had control against Saxton after break. He looked over to make sure Maryse was watching. Maryse was laughing as the crowd chanted "Lucky sucks." Matthews noted the good teamwork between Lucky and Kidd. Regal said Kidd should be upset with Lucky's distraction over Maryse. Lucky pounded on Saxton yelling "It's All About Me!"

The finale of this match saw Yoshi gain the advantage against Kidd. Lucky was outside the ring and walked towards Maryse. Kidd capitalized on the distraction which allowed him to hit a swinging neckbreaker to finish off Yoshi. Lucky got on top of Yoshi, and looked over at Maryse saying "It's all about me!"

Post-match, Byron Saxton went over to the mat to check on Yoshi as Kidd and Lucky celebrated up the ramp.

Winners: Lucky Cannon & Tyson Kidd win via pinfall over Byron Saxton & Yoshi Tatsu.

Grisham reminded fans that Edge will be surrendering the World Heavyweight Championship on Friday's episode of Smackdown.

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Lucky Cannon

Maryse joined Grisham and Regal on commentary, and gave Grisham the French double kiss on his cheeks. Lucky got the early advantage on Yoshi with several neckbreakers.

Regal asked Maryse if Lucky has enough money for her. Maryse talked about how they need to change the show to MXT, Maryse Extreme Television. Meanwhile, Lucky had the advantage outside the ring, but Yoshi turned the tides and got momentum in the ring.

That closed out NXT's latest episode.
