Raw Preview 11.09.09

Tonight's Raw takes place in The United Kingdom, hosted by former World welterweight boxing champ, Ricky "the Hitman" Hatton. With Survivor Series 2009 looming on the horizon, this is bound to be another volatile and entertaining show, as competitors prepare for the Pay-Per-View. Last week, John Cena was put into a Triple Threat match against Big Show & Chris Jericho. While Jericho and Show seemed on the same page at the end of the match, it was Show's KO punch that knocked Cena down allowing Jericho to steal a win by pinfall. After the bell, Show and Jericho proceeded to dismantle Cena together, until the nearby D-Generation X rushed into the ring to try to help. It was to no avail, as both Shawn Michaels and Triple H were layed out in the ring as well. Michaels, HHH and Cena are all going to be part of a Triple Threat title match at Survivor Series, and as of last week it seemed they were on friendly terms. Will that continue with tonight's show in the UK?

Last week saw Raw's biggest newcomer, the Celtic Warrior Sheamus make yet another big impression on the Raw roster. In his contest against Jamie Noble, he made quick work of the undersized, undermatched opponent. However, Sheamus refused to make a pinfall and kept going with the punishment. Eventually, the referee realized that Noble didn't have any more fight left in him, and called for the match to end. But that wasn't where it ended for Noble, as Sheamus made a huge statement, beating on Noble outside the ring and then hitting a huge Powerbomb on Noble which sent him crashing hard to the floor. That move left Noble muttering incoherently as WWE officials and paramedics rushed to his aid. He was taken away via stretcher with neck and back injuries, while Sheamus admired his handiwork. Will the Celtic Warrior make another example on tonight's episode of Raw? Will any superstar be able to stop him?

Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton were scheduled to fight one-on-one during last week's show. This came after the prior week's incidents, with Orton taking out his frustration on Kingston, tossing him off stage, and Kofi gaining revenge later by destroying a brand new NASCAR given to Orton. They had just started off their singles match to settle things, but due to the interference of Legacy, that never happened. Instead, the guest hosts, Sharon & Ozzy turned it into a six man tag match, which also featured Mark Henry & MVP. Kingston was part of the winning team, which saw Henry win via World's Strongest Slam. Kofi still wants to get his hands on Orton, just as much as The Viper wants to get his hands on Kingston. Will these two finally get it on in the squared circle on tonight's show? Or will their feud have to wait? Which superstar will strike first?
