Raw Preview 01.25.10

Tonight's Raw will be the final edition of the show before the 2010 Royal Rumble. The competitors will all be looking to gain an advantage as they head into the 30-man Rumble match, with four men trying to prove they will be the victors as of last Monday night. What the WWE Universe witnessed as Raw went off the air, was a fourway battle to prove who will be tops at this year's Royal Rumble. Earlier in the night, Shawn Michaels was turned down by the Undertaker in his quest to get a Wrestlemania 26 rematch. However, Michaels said he would win the Royal Rumble and go right for the Undertaker and his World Heavyweight title. Later in the night, after DX defeated Big Show and The Miz in a six man tag match, John Cena arrived to the ring to state that he will be victorious in the Rumble. Shawn Michaels, Big Show and Triple H all claimed the same thing, with HHH tossing his DX partner over the ropes before Raw ended. It now seems that these four competitors will be the ones to beat this coming Sunday. How will they prepare on tonight's Raw?

Also, the WWE title picture is heating up, with Sheamus once again standing tall over his future opponent. On last week's Raw, the WWE Champion and his challenger gave each other appearances during one another's matches. While Orton got in the ring to stare down Sheamus, the champ simply lifted his WWE belt up to brag. Later in the evening, Sheamus entered the ring though to give Orton a massive boot kick to the head leaving him layed out on the mat. It would seem as if Sheamus now has the advantage over The Viper as we head into the WWE Title match. Will Orton find a way to gain the upperhand on tonight's Raw? Will these two cross paths again before the Rumble?

Tonight's special Raw guest hosts will be Fellow USA Network stars James Roday and Dule Hill, from the hit series Psych. Raw currently has at least a dozen or more superstars entered into the 2010 Royal Rumble with competitors like Jack Swagger, The Miz, MVP, Mark Henry and Carlito all looking for their big chance at WWE gold. With Dule and Roday as guest hosts it could become a comedic, entertaining event, or all out chaos. Will these two USA characters be able to use their mental powers to effectively run Raw, or even predict this Sunday's Royal Rumble winner? What will go down on this chaotic episode of Raw less than a week before the 2010 Royal Rumble?
