Raw Preview 05.24.10
After last night's stunning conclusion to the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View (results), the WWE Champion was left layed out on the ramp. This came just moments after John Cena gave a final Attitude Adjustment to The Animal, sending him crashing down below. Cena was the winner of the WWE Title I Quit match, but soon learned that another opponent was waiting in the wings. The Celtic Warrior Sheamus emerged to once again show his dominance, delivering a huge boot kick to Cena's head, knocking out the champ. With the commentators and fans stunned, what will Cena's condition be when the WWE Raw show airs tonight? Will Cena seek retribution, or be too banged up from his match to appear on Raw?
Speaking of condition, fans may be wondering the same about Raw's Randy Orton. He and Edge fought in a tough match, ultimately ending in a double countout. However, during the match Orton seemed to sustain a difficult shoulder or arm injury. Orton continued to favor his arm as the match was in his control and was unable to deliver the RKO. Edge missed on a Spear attempt outside the ring, and ultimately Orton walked away, appearing to be hurt. Will we hear from Randy Orton on tonight's Raw? What will Edge have to saw about the double countout?
Also at Over the Limit, the Hart Dynasty managed to get their first successful title defense at a WWE PPV. They were able to defeat The Miz and Chris Jericho, despite the tag team's attempts to win at all costs. Natalya helped out a bit during the match, proving why she's a valuable asset to the team. The Hart Dynasty will continue to carry their titles on Raw, but the WWE Universe is also wondering about Bret Hart and the United States Championship. Will Bret defend the title again or will the title be retired? When will The Miz get his official rematch against The Hitman?
Check out WWE Raw tonight at 9PM EST on USA with special guest host, Jon Lovitz!
