Wrestlemania 28 Location Announced for 2012
While fans are looking forward to Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta, Georgia on April 3, 2011, WWE has just unveiled its Wrestlemania 28 location. The 2012 sports entertainment spectacular will take place in Miami, Florida on Sunday, April 1, 2012.
It might be scheduled for April Fool's day, but the announcement is no joke. WWE.com ran the news of the press conference which took place on Wednesday. On hand for the event were legendary Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino along with Grammy Award winner Emilio Estefan. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon was also there along with John Cena, The Miz, Mark Henry, Alberto Del Rio and Eve Torres.
The 2012 Wrestlemania will take place at Miami's Sun Life Stadium, which is also home to the Miami Dolphins. It's noted on WWE's article that other events for Wrestlemania week will include WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, WrestleMania Axxess, the finals of the WrestleMania Reading Challenge and a Celebrity Pro-Am Golf Tournament.
