Main Event results from Miami, FL:

Michael Cole and The Miz opened the show as the hosts/commentators.  Tonight's big match they hyped would have Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler.

Backstage, Matt Striker talked to Sheamus asking if he was concerned about Ziggler.  Sheamus called Ziggler a coward for hanging onto the briefcase like he has.  Sheamus said he won't be afraid and will win the Royal Rumble.  Sheamus then said Dolph can bring anyone he wants with him to the match, he has a Brogue Kick for all of them.

Ziggler, Big E Langston and AJ were shown walking backstage when Josh Matthews tried to catch up with them.  He asked one question and then Langston chased him off, then smiled at AJ and Dolph.  They kept walking on their way out for the match.

Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler by countout.  Late in the match, Sheamus hit his top rope battering ram for a near fall.  He prepared for he Brogue Kick, with Ziggler ducking it and going for a Superkick.  Sheamus avoided that and hit the Brogue Kick, but Ziggler rolled out of the ring.  The ref started to count him out so Sheamus went after him.  Big E Langston came over as the ref kept counting and was near 10.  With Ziggler still down, Sheamus managed to roll back into the ring at the last second to beat the countout.

Post-match, Langston got up on the apron as if he might get into the ring.  He eventually backed off, smiled and left.

They fed to video footage from Monday's Raw and in the in-ring promo involving CM Punk and The Rock.  Cole hyped up that Rock is on Smackdown this Friday night.

Wade Barrett defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall in a non-title match.  Ryder hit the Broski Boot late, after surviving a winds of hange sidewalk slam from Barrett.  Moments later, Zack went for Rough Ryder, but Barrett went underneath and dropped Ryder against the top rope.  From there, Barrett pulled down his elbow pad and hit the Bullhammer Elbow.

Michael Cole said on next week's Main Event, it will be Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro.  They didn't say whether it's for the US Championship or non-title.
