Smackdown results from Little Rock, AR:
The Miz came out to call out Dean Ambrose after Ambrose attacked him during Miz TV on WWE Main Event this week.
Dean Ambrose defeated The Miz via pinfall.
Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds to finish off Miz and get the pinfall win. Post-match, Seth Rollins and Kane tried to attack Ambrose, but Ambrose gained the upperhand when he stole the MITB briefcase from Rollins. Ambrose took off into the crowd with the briefcase.
Cesaro won a battle royal to become #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Also in the event were Los Matadores, Justin Gabriel, Kofi Kingston, Damien Mizdow, Heath Slater, Xavier Woods, Bo Dallas, Zack Ryder, Big E and Jack Swagger. The finish saw Cesaro first gorilla press Big E over the top rope. Swagger and Kofi Kingston were among the last remaining, with Swagger on the apron. Cesaro pressed Kofi overhead and threw him at Swagger causing both men to get eliminated.
The Uso Brothers defeated Goldust and Stardust via disqualification. The tag team championships were on the line in this rematch from Night of Champions. One of The Usos managed to knock Stardust to the mat and then hit a Superfly Splash off the corner. However, Goldust came into the ring to break up the pinfall by hitting the pinning Uso with the tag team title belt.
Layla & Summer Rae defeated Natalya & Rosa Mendes via pinfall.
Dolph Ziggler defeated Cesaro via pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Cesaro was able to reverse the Fameasser from Ziggler late into a Power-Bomb attempt. However, Dolph countered that into a Sunset Flip to get the winning pinfall and retain his Intercontinental Championship.
Big Show defeated Rusev via disqualification. Show had control for most of the match, using his size advantage to keep the upper hand. Rusev started an attack on Show’s legs. At one point, Show hit a Chokeslam on Rusev and then prepared for the WMD. Lana grabbed Show’s leg to prevent him from hitting the finisher. She got dragged into the ring while holding on Show’s leg. Rusev was able to grab the Russian flag and hit Show with it, causing the ref to call for the bell. Post-match, Rusev tried to hit a Superkick on Show, but Show blocked that and hit the WMD to leave Rusev laying on the mat at the end of Smackdown.
