Raw Results 12/22/14

Raw results from Minneapolis, MN:

Hulk Hogan came out into the Target Center to start off the show dressed as Santa Claus aka “Ho Ho Hogan.” He said he’s there tonight to give presents to superstars and fans. John Cena’s music hits and he came out joking he wanted a “Frozen” sing-along playset for Christmas. Footage was shown of Lesnar attacking him in the cage last week, allowing Rollins to win the match. Cena asks for a rematch against Rollins tonight. Rollins came out with J&J security to talk himself up. He reminded everyone he won’t step until The Authority is back. He eventually agreed to the match.

John Cena defeated Seth Rollins via pinfall. Late in the match, Rollins went for a Curb Stomp, but Cena avoided it and locked on the STF. Rollins got to the ropes with Cena pulling him back to the middle of the ring. J&J security got involved but Cena delivered the AA on each of them. Rollins was hit by an AA and Cena pinned him for the win.

They showed a wreath with Christmas music playing backstage. Kane walked in and scowled then said "Bah humbug!"

Fandango defeated Jack Swagger via pinfall. Late in the match, Fandango gained control after hitting a few kicks and then hitting the top rope leg drop for the win.

Tom Phillips interviewed IC title holder Dolph Ziggler backstage about tonight’s match. Ziggler talked up the ladder match from TLC and said Harper is a nightmare come to life. Dolph said he’s a four-time IC champ though and will give the fans the present of keeping the IC title.

R-Truth defeated Adam Rose via pinfall. The two had a brief dance-off in the ring then Rose tried to kick Truth. Truth rolled up Rose for the pinfall win. Post-match, Rose was upset and the Bunny went to check on him. Rose hit a spinebuster on the Bunny then began to stomp on him as the crowd booed. He continued to beat up the Bunny, ripped off one of its ears and tossing it into the crowd barrier.

They showed pre-taped video promos from Big Show and Roman Reigns to hype up their match.

Roman Reigns defeated Big Show due to countout. Show controlled most of it early on. Reigns eventually made a comeback and hit the Superman punch outside the ring, causing Show to fall over the broadcast table. That led to the contout win for Reigns which angered the giant afterwards.

Dean Ambrose was interviewed by Renee Young backstage. He talked about his match against Wyatt and said he he’s prepared all year for this Miracle on 34th Street Fight and been a good boy. He said he went to the Mall of America looking for Santa and found his security guard. He said Wyatt is going to get a beating for Christmas.

Natalya defeated Brie Bella via pinfall. Natalya went for a Sharpshooter which Brie tried to counter into an inside cradle. Natalya rolled over for the win. Natalya hit Nikki off the side apron post-match and then held up the divas title.

Los Matadores & El Reino defeated Goldust & Stardust via pinfall. Torito was wearing antlers like a reindeer. He hit the moonsault off the second rope on Goldust to get the win.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Luke Harper via pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Late into the match, Harper had control. Ziggler came back and hit a superkick, but Harper responded right back with a spinning clothesline and nearly got the win. Ziggler hit a few super kicks and then the Zig Zag to get the win. Lawler interviewed Ziggler post-match and he said he’ll be damned if anyone takes the title from him after he fought to earn it.

They had Piper’s Pit featuring Lana and Rusev. Lana talked about the fallacy of Christmas and how it’s about a bloated old man (Santa) and spoiling children. Rusev got into Piper’s face asking if he thinks he can crush Ryback. He kept at it and said “no need to be communist scrooges,” then said he had a present for them. Out came Ryback with a bow on. He and Rusev brawled at the ringside area. Ryback got control and went for a Meathook clothesline but Rusev got away. A “Feed Me More” chant was led by Ryback and Piper.

Emma, Naomi & Alicia Fox defeated Paige, Cameron and Summer Rae in a Santa’s Little Helper match. Alicia scored the winning pinfall on Summer Rae. 

The Miz defeated Jey Uso via pinfall. Jey had a rollup pinfall, but Miz rolled through and held the tights to secure his win.

Bray Wyatt defeated Dean Ambrose via pinfall in the Miracle on 34th Street fight. Ambrose went up a ladder and brought a chair with him. Wyatt just recovered and threw a chair at Ambrose to make him fall off the ladder. Wyatt ran Ambrose face-first into a kendo stick in the corner, then scored the winning pin. Post-match, Ambrose recovered and got a fire extinguisher to spray in Wyatt’s face. He put him on a table at ringside and then hit an elbow drop on Wyatt through the table to close out Raw.
