More About the Miz: HooRah!

Mike "the Miz" Mizanin, 6 ft 1 in and 231 lbs, 27 years old. He started as a reality TV star on the 10th Season of MTV's Real World, which was set in New York City. During the episodes he often talked about his other character "The Miz" and pretended he was a wrestler. Now he has realized his dream and is part of WWE Smackdown, whether it be in-ring to face Undertaker, Kane, Benoit and others, or to host an in-ring interview segment.

Miz has competed on numerous Real World/Road Rules challenges on MTV and MTV's Tough Enough, which pits contestants against one another to determine the next person to get the chance to be a pro wrestler (previous winner/losers who came to WWE include: Maven, Christopher Nowitsky and Jackie, all of whom are no longer with WWE). Miz also competed on the celebreality edition of "Fear Factor" and made it to the finals.

He trained under Bill DeMott with Deep South Wrestling and eventually became eligible for the Smackdown roster. He's appeared in a Pay Per View, where he lost to Boogeyman and was forcefed worms. He also hosted an in ring show "MizTV". Other than that he has seemed to be a scrub opponent for wrestlers like Kane and Undertaker to crush in the ring. However, Miz did score a "surprise upset win" over 1 week ago on Smackdown, thanks to MVP interfering and costing Chris Benoit the match. Miz scored a pinfall over the current US champ, nonetheless.

It would be cool to see Miz get a push, he can keep improving and hopefully one day capture a title. Right now, he's another reality star who rocketed themselves into other success, but he's still leaving his dream..
