Judgement Day is Here!

Judgement Day has cometh! Here are predictions for tonight, which may be far off, but I do expect at least 2 titles will change hands tonight. You may totally disagree..Feel free to comment here or at the Myspace... Ok, here goes:

Edge vs Batista - Seeing as Edge just won the WWE title from Undertaker, as cheap a victory as it was, it's hard to believe he will lose the title this fast. If that was the case, Batista would have been victorious over Undertaker. I think someone may interfere, maybe Mark Henry. I predict Edge manages to keep the title.

Cena vs The Great Khali - Cena has been proving me wrong alot lately. I know he isn't as popular as he once was and people are tired of seeing him holding onto the title. I think Khali might have what it takes to knock out Cena and capture the belt, but don't expect Khali to have more fans than Cena. Khali wins the belt, even though we all saw Cena lift him onto his shoulders before.

Lashley vs Mr McMahon, Shane & Umaga - Lashley is a man on a mission. I think this is where he gets his revenge and recaptures that belt, because otherwise it looks foolish for Mr McMahon to be walking around with it on ECW. Lashley overcomes the odds and regains his title here.

MVP vs. Chris Benoit - In a best 2 of 3 falls match for the US Belt, I say MVP finally gets it here. He's had several tries before and came up short each time. But to think MVP won't be wearing a belt is foolish. This is where MVP captures the gold.

Shawn Michaels vs Randy Orton - The winner of this one most likely becomes the #1 contender for the title on RAW. I'll go out on a limb and say Orton manages to pull off the victory, making him the new contender for either Cena or Khali's belt.

Carlito vs. Ric Flair - Flair is the master and Carlito was his student. I see Flair showing Carlito how things are done and winning this match, showing Carlito that "to be the man you have to beat the man".

CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke
- A match I'm not overly interested in, not sure how many are. CM Punk has a large fanbase though. I expect him to win this match.

There it is, I am boldly predicting that for the first time in a long line of recent PPV's, 3 WWE titles will change hands tonight! Enjoy the show!

Hmm, while I agree with some preditctions here I'm not sure I agree with them all -

So, here are my picks.

Edge to retain. There was a reason they took the belt of Batista in the first place and put it on Taker. Rightfully, the bekt should be Kennedy's, but Edge will babysit it for now.

Cena to retain. He's being made into some sort of Hulk Hogan wannabe ... looking past whether he can or can't wrestle, they want him to look good. If he bet Umaga, if he managed to FU Big Show more than three times, he'll beat Khali. And unfortunatly, he'll beat him clean.

.... this PPV is looking so thrilling I've forgotten the rest of the card ... Oh.

Lashley to take the belt back. It's time for Vince to shed the do-rag and go back to making the Raw Superstars lives a living hell ... he's done with ECW. Lashley will be left to carry the brand on his shoulders.

Randy to beat Shawn. This is borderline - depending on how badly Shawn pulls up. He'll barely win and be the hero of the night, or he'll just lose because he was screwed by that 'Damn Orton!'

Elijah to beat CM Punk, but barely. Another borderline, depending on how much everyone backstage hates Paul Heyman this week ...

Ric Flair to KILL Carlito ... For the sake of whatever is great and good left in the industry. Flair all the way.

As much as it pains me to say
it .. there's a small possibility MVP will take the US title. Given all the attention he's been given it's a huge possibility .. but if Chris is to lose, maybe there will be a move to Raw in his future (apologies - HUGE wolverine fan here. Benoit is GOD and should be in the middle of a decent feud with Finlay right now ..).

I think that's all .. I wouldn't be shocked to see a small Melina/Candice pop up somewhere in between to fill time, or even a tag team match with someone or rather

On another note ... does anyone else find it entirely bizarre that Kane is the focus of Judgement Day promotion (the wwe released poster etc) yet the big man doesn't have a match?

Hmm anonymous, you agreed with basically all but 2 matches, 1 of which you call "borderline"... I agree they are making Cena into a Hulkster type icon lately. Gotta go against the grain sometimes and expect a surprise or 2 here or there. Who knew Santino Morella would be IC champ right about now? Besides him and the WWE workers..

On another note, please keep the comments short here otherwise you are writing your own blog.. Blogger provides blog accounts for free :)

I would hate to see Edge keep the belt...IDIOT!!!! Im still having problems sleeping over that one..

Cena has been champion for a good muniute now and even though i dont htink the great khali is the best representation for the belt...i guess it had to come to an end...

If MVP wins the belt after what he did friday...then i dont know what the world is coming to...

Lashley is the man and Mr. Mcmahon can be champion until hetakes care of theat hemroid problem he has that has him walking the way he does.

Other than that.....Michaels beats Orton....

GO Carlito..and well that all i got!

I think that Cena will win his match. Lately Cena has become the reason to watch RAW which i disagree with greatly because he's a 5 move knowing poser. Most people know about the Pokemon 4 moves only thing, and when Cena trys to learn a new move, he loses 1 as well. Its quite interesting to me.
