Is Vince Dead?

I found last night's RAW finale quite surprising and the reaction of many fans and others shown on message boards hilarious. First off, Vince is not dead.

The finale was a mock "Casino" car explosion, minus Vince flying straight up into the stratosphere. It was Mr. McMahon Appreciation Night, and the commentary seemed unappreciative for the most part from WWE superstars, legends and other celebs. At the culmination of the show, Vince went to the ring to speak to the crowd, but simply dropped the mic on the mat, and exited the ring, walking up the ramp. Vince continued backstage, walking amongst the throngs of WWE superstars who were lined up in case they were drafted. Johnathan Coachman, Executive Assistant to Mr. McMahon, notified Vince his limo was in the other direction. Vince turned and continued his solemn walk, straight out the arena exit. He paused momentarily before opening the back door to the limo and getting inside. Then out of nowhere came the KABOOM! followed by the limo erupting in an explosion of flames, fire and smoke. According to WWE.com, Vince was presumed dead on the scene in Wilkes Barre, PA.

If this were an actual explosion and tragedy, USA would not end the show with the RAW logo in the bottom corner and stop covering the event. You would have seen footage of it on every news network as well, not just as the ending to RAW. This is most likely one of the following:

1)Vince's own publicity stunt. He rigged an explosion to make it look like he died, ala some elaborate TV show or soap opera plot.

2)It will turn into a "WHODUNIT?" style caper on the various shows to determine who killed Vince. Similar to "Who Shot JR?", the popular Dallas storyline many many years ago.

With that said, fans do not fear, Mr. McMahon is not dead, because if so the world would be in a serious sense of grief and mourning today, and the headlines would be shown around the globe. Vince lives on, as does the WWE..

Dumb idea. Vince could have faked an injury and gone that way, but to "die"? Dumb.

My theory on the whole thing is that,
1. Its one hell of a way to retire.
2.It cements him as one of wrestlings biggest heels.
or 3.It will turn into a Paul Bearer like stunt where he was only injuried and then will return.
For now it will be an interesting time in the WWE. And will surely help boost the ratings.

This is genius think about it, with the soprano's ending the way it did, it is almost like a mob hit etc, kinda rolls it up to everything, and MC's comments are correct, it would have been everywhere, but think of it this way the words of Dusty Rhodes still ring in my ears, regardless if u like him or hate him u have to respect him no matter what. He brought the wwf/wwe to the mass's and if ppl really didnt like him that well knowning he is the owner, ppl would just leave, but they respect him enough, i think he just needed some time off from the biz for a while, like the undertakes does about once a year or every other, then comes back with a vengeance. Just wait and see......

Good points everyone's making here..regardless of hating this idea or loving it, it's got us all speculating, talking and getting excited or angry..Just goes to show that Vince knows how to create controversy.. in the words of Eric Bischoff's book title "Controversy Creates Cash".

DAMN!!! LOL **sorry if that's not allowed...was thinking of the dude that always says that, and only that..lol**
Anyway, if this is Vince's idea of a joke it's sick one for sure. I mean come on, who in their RIGHTFUL mind would plot/plan their own death? Come on.. Vince needs to be smacked a few times. I guess the old screw driver in his head at WM really did effect him huh?? And like the "shrinks" say, he is a time bomb waiting for a place to happen. I feel bad for the peeps that really have to put up with his crap. He needs to retire and go to another country for a while.

I know people don't like the idea, but think about it, WWE's ratings will rise because of this "incident." I like the angle myself. Everyone, including me, wants to know what happens next. I read on www.imdb.com (message boards section) that Vince is supposed to come back during Summerslam and he's supposed to be like "Ghost Rider!" I hope it's true. I'd love to see Vince riding down the ramp in a motorcycle with flames flying all over the place. HAHAHAHA!

The story line of Mr. McMahons death is the best story line he has ever come up with. For those people who think it was a stupid idea have no idea what they are talking about. We are dealing here with Mr McMahon. The icon of Pro Wrestling. An entrepreneur of the bussiness. Everybody should look at it the way Mr. McMahon is looking at it right now. Think about it, Once your dead, your dead & you don't know what happens after that, but now Vince sees excactlly what would happen. He sees how much he really means to the millions & million of WWE fans out there. Mr. McMahon is a bussiness man with so much money that he has no idea what to do with it. Think about it, what other person in the world of wrestling could ever come up with the idea of getting 2 limos that look exactally alike & have 1 of them get blown up. Think about all the other limos he has distoryed. Especially the 1 where DX pulled the axle from under him while him & Shane were in the limo. It takes guts & money to pull all these stunts & you know what "WHO'S GOING TO STOP HIM" Nobody. So for those who think that this was a stupid way to go with a story line then why don't you try to come up with something better & see if you can beat that.
