The People's Champ

Former WWE star, current movie star and more importantly charitable philanthropist, the Rock is definitely The People's Champ. The Rock has a charity he founded known as "DJ Rock Foundation" which helps provide hope, support and possibility to youth nationwide. Rock's charity helps out at-risk youth as well as those who are hospitalized. The program works with children ranging in ages from infancy to 22 years of age and helps to empower them and institute better self-esteem.

Rock also provides "The Rock's Toy Chest", a toy drive which donates toys to children that are in-patients of hospitals in Boston, Los Angeles and Miami. Check out the DJ Rock website here which includes pics of The Rock at various fundraisers and events in support of his charities.

In other Rock news, his new Disney movie, "The Game Plan" is set to hit theaters on September 28th. Rock will also play Agent 23 in 2008's "Get Smart" and is in talks for another movie "Shazam!".
