Ric Flair Leaves WWE
Wrestling Observer and F4wonline.com are reporting that Ric Flair and WWE have amicably parted ways. Flair retired as a wrestler when he lost to Shawn Michaels at a match during Wrestlemania 24 this past year. The night before, Flair had an emotional Farewell speech for his WWE Hall of Fame induction.
Flair had remained as a spokesman and talent with the company despite no longer wrestling. He had recently been part of Raw, including Mr. McMahon's Million Dollar Mania, and had been the recipient of an achievement award for WWE. Additionally, Flair's independent business had gone bankrupt during the past few months.
