Smackdown Preview 08.01.08

Last week a major revelation was announced by Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero. While her former lover/husband Edge was in the ring trying to reconcile their differences, Vickie informed him in her anger she had done something. Vickie announced that she had reinstated the Undertaker and he'll be facing Edge at Summerslam! Edge had a look of horror on his face as the show ended. According to WWE.com, Edge will have a special guest on tonight's episode of "The Cutting Edge". Who will Edge's mystery guest be? Will fans get to see the Deadman on tonight's show, or will Undertaker send a sign to Edge to let him know he's coming soon?

Last week also saw a new #1 contender named for Triple H's WWE title. A Battle Royal was held involving superstars MVP, Jeff Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, Big Show, Umaga and Great Khali. Khali was the last man standing in the ring after throwing Jeff Hardy over the top ropes to win. Triple H appeared soon after to confront his next opponent. The two superstars are now on a collision course for Summerslam. What will Triple H and Great Khali have in store for tonight's Smackdown?

Finally, the latest WWE diva to be added to the Smackdown roster, Maria, will make her debut on the show tonight. The Playboy covergirl and former Raw diva has a much anticipated arrival on the show. What will Maria have to say to the fans? Will any another divas get in the way of Maria's debut?
