The sale of Wrestlemania 25 tickets has also been postponed a second time due to the recent hurricanes which have affected Texas. The new sale date will be November 8th to pick up tickets to next year's Superbowl of wrestling.

From WWE.com:

Following two postponements due to the effects of Hurricane Ike down South, tickets for WrestleMania XXV will officially go on sale to the public on Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets will become available at both Houston's Reliant Stadium box office, and at all Ticketmaster locations.

Tickets for WrestleMania XXV were originally scheduled to go on sale Sept. 20, then rescheduled for Oct. 11 out of concern for the residents of the Gulf Coast of Texas, and a disaster area declaration made by Texas Governor Rick Perry. Following the hurricane, WWE once again postponed ticket sales with the public and its wellbeing in mind.

WWE.com also has an article Grappling with Ike which discusses how the Hurricane has affected several wrestlers who are residents of Texas. Included in the article is mainly Shelton Benjamin. The United States Champ discusses the damage that has been done to people's homes and lives in Texas. Read full article here.

In other news, WWE Raw will celebrate its 800th episode this coming Monday night. According to WWE, the show has aired more episodes than both The Simpsons and ER combined! That's many episodes of Raw wrestling...How will Raw celebrate? Read more about Raw's 800th here!
