Mike Knox in Elimination Chamber

This past Sunday, WWE had a "pre-Superbowl" house show in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at which there was a six man over-the-top-rope battle royal. The Battle Royal featured Raw participants Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase, Shad & JTG of Cryme Tyme, Dolph Ziggler and Mike Knox, with the winner qualifying for the No Way Out Elimination Chamber. Mike Knox defeated his other 5 opponents and will now be part of the Chamber facing his current feud Rey Mysterio. There's just one final spot for the match left.

Monday night Raw on 2/2/09 should decide the sixth and final spot for the No Way Out Elimination Chamber. It seems like Shawn Michaels and JBL are amongst the final 2 contenders to compete for it. There aren't too many names left on Raw's roster, but they could schedule another match like the house show had with several wrestlers competing.

Currently at No Way Out, John Cena will defend his World Heavyweight Title against Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Mike Knox and the final contender to be named. The elimination Chamber will feature a steel structure closed down around the ring, with wrestlers locked into seperate cages inside the apparatus. Two men begin the match with each wrestler added in intervals. The match stays in the steel structure for the most part and contenders will eliminate their opponents by pinfall or submission. This will continue until just one man remains in that Chamber and he will be the World Heavyweight Champion. John Cena doesn't necessarily have to be the final man pinned to lose his title, so it should make for an interesting battle!
