Dolph Ziggler & John Morrison on the Rise
Dolph Ziggler seems to be on a meteoric rise since his arrival at WWE Smackdown. John Morrison also seems to be getting a push he deserves since arriving to the roster. It seems these two men brought over to WWE Smackdown via the draft are ready to really cash in for their share of the fame. Will these two superstars capture the glory of WWE Championship gold?
Morrison's had a fair share of WWE prizes including the tag titles, Intercontinental Title and ECW title. With his recent wins against the current World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, and an impending title match after Night of Champions, it looks like he may be inching closer towards that top tier championship. Morrison's got the look of a superstar athlete and has been known to do decent on the mic occasionally. He's got a look/style like a new age version of Shawn Michaels. In the past, he and Punk had memorable matches on ECW, however, they may bring even more out for the Smackdown show now. If Jeff Hardy doesn't win at Night of Champions, expect Morrison and Punk to start feuding over the WH Title. It's completely plausible to see Morrison as the next World Heavyweight Champion.
Then there's Dolph Ziggler who has gained some serious haters and heat, all in the process of leaping to the top tier of competition. More than likely he will win the Intercontinental title from Rey Mystero this Sunday at Night of Champions, and also partner up with Chris Jericho to really put Ziggler into the top of the WWE ranks. This guy's got a pretty good gig going and he's definitely one of the top heels in the biz right now along with Jericho and Orton. Sorry Edge, you'll be back soon enough.
For now, Morrison and Ziggler are both without titles, but you can't ignore that both superstars will have gold around their waist soon. Expect Ziggler to be the first, but Morrison is not far behind. Actually, Morrison's resume is ahead of Ziggler's, for now.
Feel free to leave your thoughts about these two superstars and how WWE is currently promoting them...
