Raw Preview 10.26.09
Last night's Bragging Rights Pay-Per-View featured the culmination of a famous rivalry within sports entertainment. John Cena and Randy Orton battled it out one final time to decide the ultimate winner for the WWE Title in a 60 minute Iron Man match with Anything Goes rules. Not only were those rules in place, but if John Cena lost the match he would no longer be a part of WWE Raw. In the grueling one hour contest, each man traded momentum and the lead in the final battle. It came down to a 5-5 tie, with the action becoming fast and furious. John Cena eventually got Orton to tap out to the STF with 5 seconds remaining to regain the WWE Title, and keep his spot on the Raw roster. Who will be first to challenge Cena now that he's won back the WWE title and ended his feud with Orton? What will Orton's next move be now?
Also on the Bragging Rights results were 3 other matches which decided Brand superiority. In one decision, Raw's "The Miz" defeated Smackdown's John Morrison. The Smackdown divas evened the odds by defeating Raw's diva team. It would come down to the seven on seven tag match featuring Team Raw versus Team Smackdown. In that big matchup, the Big Show pulled his own screwjob on Team Raw by ditching his allegiance to them and clobbering Kofi Kingston, allowing his tag team partner Chris Jericho to make the winning pinfall. It may have been one "Big" setup from the start with the Unified Tag champs getting the last laugh, while Jericho got to hoist up the Bragging Rights trophy. How will Team Raw respond to Big Show's traitor act from last night's PPV? Will there be reprecussions or more feuds between the members of Team Raw?
Tonight's Raw show in Buffalo, NY will be hosted by NASCAR racing's Joey Logano and Kyle Busch. These two join a list of other athletes who have guest hosted the show including Shaquille O'Neal and Ben Roethlisberger. What will these two racing stars have in store for the members of Raw on the aftermath show from Bragging Rights?
