Will Cena cost Orton the WWE Title?

This past week saw plenty of interesting events involving the WWE, including the Bragging Rights Pay-Per-View and UFC 121. While Undertaker and Brock Lesnar had words at UFC 121, Undertaker was buried thanks to Kane and The Nexus one night later at Bragging Rights. There's a funeral planned for Friday's Smackdown, and we know from past funerals that Taker never rests in peace. However, this commentary will deal with what might happen in the ongoing John Cena Nexus storyline as we head towards Survivor Series 2010.

At Bragging Rights PPV, Cena wisely attacked Barrett, causing a DQ. With that outcome, Cena wasn't fired since technically Barrett won the match. However, Barrett didn't achieve his ultimate goal of the WWE Title. So a night later, the GM announced Barrett would get another shot at Orton and the title at Survivor Series, however they'd need a special ref to keep order. A match later in the night between Cena and Orton saw Cena win it, due to Barrett knocking him down to earn the DQ. The stipulation the match carried would be that if Cena won, Nexus chose the special guest referee. Since Cena won, Barrett made the big announcement: Cena will be the special ref for Barrett vs Orton II at Survivor Series.

With all that in mind, what might we expect? Well Barrett has said if he wins the WWE Title in that match, Cena will be relieved of his duties and obligations to Nexus. However, if Barrett doesn't win that match, he will fire Cena on the spot. It makes sense that Cena will want to make sure Barrett wins the WWE title, even though it's going to screw Orton over. Remember, Orton almost punt kicked Cena's head off on Raw.

Before you start assuming Barrett leaves Survivor Series with the title though, remember one X-factor: Money in the Bank. Miz holds the briefcase containing that contract. It's foreseeable that after Barrett wins, he releases Cena from his duties with Nexus. To celebrate the news, Cena delivers the Attitude Adjustment and leaves Barrett a prime target for The Miz to cash in on. It would be sweet revenge for Cena, and a way for Miz to finally cash in.

That's just one possibility that seems to play out perfectly with all that's going on. Miz can't feud with R-Truth and mid-carders forever, he'll need to cash in at some point. However, we all know that there's going to be a Cena vs Barrett clash. The question is will it be for the WWE title or with no gold involved?

How do you think Barrett vs Orton II will play out at Survivor Series 2010?

Raw Results 10/25/10

Raw Results from Green Bay, WI:

Wade Barrett and The Nexus arrived to the ring leading his crew. Cena trailed them. Both Otunga and Cena carried their tag team belts with them. Barrett introduced the most dominant group in the history of WWE, The Nexus. He introduced Otunga, Slater, Gabriel and then motioned for Cena to stand with them. Barrett introduced Cena and he did the "You can't see me" hand wave in his face.

Barrett had slideshow still images shown of Nexus beating up Undertaker to help bury him at the PPV last night. Barrett explained why Nexus helped Kane saying "we had our reasons" but told the fans it's none of their business. Barrett ordered Cena to tell the fans what happened later in the match against Orton. Cena said Orton was about to beat down Barrett so he got him DQ'd and Barrett won the match. Barrett gave his side of the story, saying Cena layed his hands on him, delivering the AA. Barrett said after that, Cena had the audacity to hand the belt over to Orton. Cena told him he said if he won the match then Cena wouldn't be fired.

The email sound went off as the lights blinked. Cole got up to read the latest email from the GM. The GM said Barrett is entitled to a future rematch against Orton, but there must be a special referee to maintain order. The GM said the winner of tonight's main event gets to choose the ref. The GM said any member of Nexus will face Orton. Barrett said that's an easy choice, Cena will face Orton.

Otunga chimed in on a mic saying that he and Cena won the tag titles last night, but Cena clearly wasn't on the same page. Otunga suggested that Cena should be fired for what he did to him last night. Barrett said it's clear they can't co-exist as tag champs, so he ordered a tag team title match with John Cena and David Otunga facing Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater.

John Cena & David Otunga vs. Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel
WWE Tag Team Title Match

The bell sounded to make it official with Cena ready to go in the ring. Barrett got back on the mic saying Nexus doesn't fight each other, so someone needs to do the right thing. Barrett said someone needs to lie down in the ring for a pin, and that someone is David Otunga. Otunga was clearly pissed about the order, but Barrett stared him down. Otunga tagged in and got in the ring reluctantly against Heath Slater. Cena was shown on the apron saying "Don't do it." Otunga got down to one knee then layed dowon for Slater to take the pinfall. Slater and Gabriel became the new tag team champions.

Otunga just shook his head as he stood in the corner. Cena left the ring also upset and walked backstage as the new champs celebrated the win.

Winners: Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel win via pinfall over David Otunga & John Cena to become new tag team champions.

They showed highlights of how Daniel Bryan challenged Dolph Ziggler to a match last week for Bragging Rights. Bryan ended up putting a Labelle Lock on Ziggler outside the ring.

Vickie Guerrero arrived out on stage with her rookie diva Kaitlyn. Vickie said there was an error last night in officiating which cost Smackdown's Dolph Ziggler the match against Daniel Bryan. Vickie introduced Ziggler for a match tonight. She pushed Kaitlyn aside to make sure that she could be the one to escort Ziggler to the ring.

Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler
Champion vs Champion Rematch

Before the match could start, CM Punk arrived out in street clothes to watch the matchup. Kaitlyn and Vickie were also ringside for the match. Punk walked over to join Cole and Lawler on commentary. Punk told Cole he was there to entertain and scout some talent. As they were talking, Bryan put on an impressive surfboard submission to hoist Ziggler up.

The pinfall and submission exchanges came fast and furious with both men putting in some impressive work. Ziggler had a late sleeper hold with Bryan backing him into the corner, then getting to the ropes. Bryan slipped out of the hold, turning it into the Labelle Lock. Vickie came around the side of the ring and pulled Ziggler's leg under the bottom rope. The ref didn't see it and Ziggler tapped. Vickie screamed at the ref post-match. CM Punk stood up clapping, eyeing Bryan in the ring.

Winner: Daniel Bryan wins via submission over Dolph Ziggler.

When Raw returned, Cole and Lawler mentioned Toby Keith's "Bullets in the Gun" album. Toby Keith is tonight's special guest host. They showed some members of the Green Bay Packers seated in the crowd.

They rolled footage of the Wrestlemania Reading Challenge which features the WWE Superstars advocating reading with children.

Raw guest host Toby Keith was backstage with The Bella Twins. They gave him a special WWE championship belt. Santino came in and performed a country song he made up which featured lyrics about Maria, Beth Phoenix and Tamina. Sheamus walked in causing the Bellas to exit. He told Santino he embarassed him last night, so tonight he's challenging him one-on-one. Santino accepted. Sheamus told him he better show up.

They showed Wade Barrett in the locker room. Cena came rushing in yelling at Barrett at what just happened out in the ring. Barrett told Cena he needs to follow his orders no matter what. Cena said handing over WWE championships isn't him. He said fired or quit, it's all the same. Cena tore off the Nexus armband, but Barrett told him to hold up. He said if he beats Orton tonight he'll make him an offer that will benefit both of them.

Melina & Gail Kim vs. Layla & Michelle McCool

They showed how LayCool insulted Natalya and Bret Hart on last week's Raw. During the match, Melina and Layla collided in the air as both went for cross body moves. Gail Kim was knocked off the apron. Michelle was able to make a blind tag. Melina went for the rollup pin on Layla, but Michelle was in to deliver a solid kick to Melina. Michelle pinned Melina for the win.

Winner: Team LayCool wins via pinfall over Melina & Gail Kim.

Michael Cole reminded fans that next Tuesday is the big election. Lawler said tomorrow's the last day to register to vote nationwide. Lawler reminded fans to not wear a WWE T-shirt when they show up for voting.

They showed The Miz walking backstage with Alex Riley. Cole said Miz will come out to read the riot act to Team Raw for last night's loss.

Alex Riley and The Miz arrived to the ring. Miz grabbed a mic to address the WWE Universe. Cole said "listen up, Lombardi's about to speak." Miz said he's accomplished more in his career than everyone in the arena will achieve in their lifetimes. Miz said he's not a miracle worker, and even though he lasted longer than any member of Team Raw, they lost. He said if the rest of the team had his talent, they'd have the Bragging Rights trophy right now.

Miz said he'll also be the poster boy for THQ's Smackdown vs Raw 2011 video game which is available tomorrow. He had the cover shown on the Titantron which shows Big Show, John Cena and The Miz. Miz had an alternate cover shown which showed 3 different variations of Miz on it. He said Team Raw should have just been seven versions of him. Miz said if Rey Mysterio wants to come over to Raw he's laying down the challenge for next Monday. After Miz did his "I'm Awesome" bit, Eve's theme music and Eve arrived to the ring.

Miz said he knows why Eve's out there but she doesn't have to apologize on behalf of the divas. Miz said it's not her fault she has bad taste in men and hair extensions that don't match. Eve told Miz he's a frog-faced loser and the farthest thing from Awesome the WWE's ever seen. Riley interrupted Eve telling her to shut the front door, because Miz could have beat anyone on that roster. Riley told Eve to head backstage and see if anyone from Team Raw wants a piece of the captain. Eve started to leave the ring when R-Truth's theme song hit and Truth came out performing it. Truth said he was about to show Miz that The Truth hurts. The Raw GM sent an email saying "Ding Ding Ding."

R-Truth vs. The Miz

Late in this match, Truth was able to knock Miz off the apron into the commentators table. Truth went out to grab Miz and tossed him back into the ring. The ref didn't notice as Alex Riley rammed Truth into the side of the ring. Eve came storming over and spun Riley around then slapped him in the face. Riley fell down afterwords. Later in the ring, Truth was able to hit a dropkick through the ropes as he saw Riley going after Eve. Miz was able to eventually hit the Skullcrushing Finale on Miz to collect the pinfall win.

Winner: The Miz wins via pinfall over R-Truth.

Justin Roberts introduced Raw guest host and special ring announcer for the next match, country singer Toby Keith. The Bella Twins escorted Toby to the ring. Toby reminisced about how he's been to Green Bay countless times. He talked about singing the anthem for the Packers at the Superbowl years ago. Toby Keith introduced Sheamus first, followed by Santino Marella.

Santino Marella vs. Sheamus

Santino peaked out from behind the entrance area then started to walk towards the ring cautiously. Toby Keith came out of the ring to encourage Santino to go to the ring for the match.

Sheamus immediately went to work. Santino tried some offense but failed at a hip toss, with Sheamus overpowering him. Sheamus was ready to go for the Brogue kick but Santino fell to the mat. John Morrison came rushing to ringside telling Santino he couldn't go on because he was so out of it. Santino fell down again as Sheamus went for the big boot kick. Sheamus got Santino in the corner and Morrison yelled at Sheamus to ask what he was trying to prove. Sheamus said he'll show him. He backed up then went for the running kick, but Santino fell again. Sheamus hit the corner and fell to the mat, with Santino falling forward to pin him.

John Morrison pulled Santino out of the ring. Everyone was shocked at the win including Michael Cole and Santino. Morrison and Santino celebrated up on the ramp.

Winner: Santino wins via pinfall over Sheamus.

When Raw returned it was time for the latest Stand Up for WWE campaign video. This one featured a variety of wrestlers talking about how they always dreamed of being in WWE. Superstars included John Cena, Michelle McCool, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, Alicia Fox, Cody Rhodes, Eve, The Miz, Alex Riley and Bella Twins. They talked about how much they love doing this job and be a positive influence. After the video, Cole talked about how he used to pretend with his brother that they were commentators for the WWE show on Saturdays. For more info on how to Stand Up for WWE visit WWE.com.

Backstage, Barrett was congratulating Slater and Gabriel for becoming new tag champs. Otunga came in still upset over what happened earlier. He talked to Barrett one-on-one saying he humiliated him tonight in front of everyone. Otunga told Barrett he couldn't get it done last night so he needed to humiliate him tonight. Otunga suggested maybe he should tell the world why they attacked Undertaker last night. Barrett said that's an interesting concept. He called in Harris and McGillicutty who were both wearing Nexus shirts. Barrett said he inducted them as the newest members of Nexus and they can help end any superstar's career at a moment's notice. Barrett told Otunga to choose if he's "Nexus or against us." Otunga looked at them all then said "I'm Nexus." Barrett smiled saying "Keep up the good work." Otunga shot them all a look as he left the locker room.

John Cena and Randy Orton were shown on split-screen walking backstage.

As Raw returned, Cole noted that next week Pee Wee Herman will be hosting Raw in Long Island. Also, this coming Saturday is fan appreciation day at Hartford, CT's XL Center at 3PM EST.

Randy Orton vs. John Cena

The winner of this match gets to choose the special guest referee for the rematch between orton and Barrett over the WWE Title. Barrett was at ringside to watch the matchup. About halfway through, Orton was able to toss Cena to the outside. As The Viper went outside to stalk Cena, Barrett snuck up behind him. Orton spun around and punched Barrett down. Cena rolled into the ring before Raw went to commercial.

Cena made his standard comeback after some offense from orton. He took him down with several shoulder tackles, then hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Orton. As Orton got up, Cena hoisted him for the AA. Orton slipped off and went for the RKO, but Cena shoved him away. Cena managed to trip Orton down and almost had the STF locked in, but Orton escaped it. Orton made his comeback to take down Cena. He grabbed Cena through the apron to go for his ropes DDT, but Cena tossed Orton over the ropes to the outside.

On the outside, Barrett was coming around to attack Orton. Cena spotted him and shoved Wade to the ground. He yelled at Barrett not during my fight. Barrett told Cena he takes orders from him. Things ended up back in the ring, with Cena hitting a leg drop off the corner on Orton for another near fall. Moments later, Cena was able to get Orton down in the STF. Orton stretched to try to reach the ropes, with Barrett coming over to pull the ropes away. Cena released the hold and slid out of the ring to yell at Barrett for his attempt to help.

Back in the ring, Orton got the upperhand. With Cena on the apron, Orton was able to DDT him from the ropes. Orton prepared for the RKO. As he went for it, Cena shoved him off. Orton hit the ropes and came back, so Cena picked him up and hit the Attitude Adjustment. Cena took what seemed like the winning pin, but amazingly Orton got his arm up before 3. Right after, Orton was able to hit the RKO, but Cena went rolling out of the ring. Orton went out and collected Cena to bring him back into the ring.

Orton got the crazed look on his face with Cena down near the corner. He backed up and was about to go for a punt kick, but Barrett yanked Cena out of the ring. Barrett quickly clotheslined down Cena. The decision went to Cena due to a DQ.

Winner: John Cena wins due to disqualification when Barrett interfered.

Post-match, Orton went wild as he attacked Barrett on the outside and brought him into the ring. Suddenly, the rest of Nexus rushed to the ring to get Orton. Harris, McGill, Slater, Otunga and Gabriel all began to pound away on Orton as Barrett escaped the ring. Orton seemed to have no chance, but Cena got back in the ring and began beating on Nexus guys. He made some headway in clearing them off Orton, then Barrett grabbed a mic and yelled at them all. He ordered Nexus out of the ring and told Cena to stay there.

Barrett announced since Cena won the match that means Nexus chooses the guest referee for his match against Orton for the Title. Barrett said he's made his choice and it's Cena. He told Orton that Cena will be very impartial, because if Barrett doesn't win the WWE Title, he'll fire him on the spot. Barrett then said when he does win the title, then John Cena is officially relieved of all his duties to The Nexus. Barrett chuckled about it as Cena slumped down to the mat with his face in his hands. Raw ended with Cena staring at Orton bewildered across the ring.

Also, Natalya will once again contend for the Divas title as she takes on Layla of Team Laycool. As of right now, the only title holders not scheduled for action are the tag team champions, Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre. However, that could change as the event gets underway.

The 2010 Bragging Rights PPV results will be updated starting at 8PM EST through 11PM EST. Find the latest updated Bragging Rights PPV results listed below as they happen! Click here to refresh this page for updates.

Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler

Late in the match, Ziggler was able to get the sleeper hold onto Bryan. However, Bryan got to the ropes to break it. Vickie Guerrero was there to start yelling at the ref. As Ziggler lost his cool, Bryan was able to get him into the Labelle Lock and eventually made Dolph tap out. Vickie and Ziggler were still arguing post-match, so the ref sent them out of there.

Winner: Daniel Bryan wins via submission over Dolph Ziggler.

John Cena & David Otunga vs Drew McIntyre & Cody Rhodes
WWE Tag Team Championships

The anonymous Raw GM announced an interesting impromptu match as the tag champs put the titles on the line against...John Cena and David Otunga of Nexus!

In a quick match, Cena became the target of the heel tag champs. After five minutes of suffering a beatdown from Drew and Cody, Cena finally broke away. Cena was able to knock Drew McIntyre down for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, with Cena taunting his tag partner Otunga "You Can't See Me" before hitting it. Cody Rhodes managed to hit a blind tag on Drew to become legal. He went for a Cross Rhodes, but Cena was able to counter and get him into the STF. Rhodes eventually tapped out giving Cena and Otunga the tag titles.

Post-match, Otunga was celebrating as if he was part of the reason they won. Cena gave him a look, and after several moments eventually hit him with the Attitude Adjustment. Cena left with the belts, leaving Otunga down in the ring.

Winners: John Cena & David Otunga win via pinfall over Drew McIntyre & Cody Rhodes to become new tag team champions.

Goldust vs. Ted Dibiase

Towards the end of the match, Dibiase and Goldust ran into each other in the middle of the ring. With the two down, Maryse attacked Aksana from behind. Maryse tossed Aksana against the ring. Goldust was checking to make sure his future wife was OK, and the distraction allowed Dibiase to hit Dream Street for the win.

Post-match, Maryse tried to return the Million Dollar belt to Dibiase. Aksana tackled Maryse down and grabbed the belt away. Aksana walked up to Dibiase with the belt and rubbed on his chest. As Aksana pretended she would kiss Dibiase, Goldust caught him from behind with the Final Cut.

Winner: Ted Dibiase wins via pinfall over Goldust.

Natalya vs. Michelle McCool
WWE Divas Championship

In the late stages of this short divas match, Natalya started a comeback against McCool. She managed to slap the Sharpshooter on, but not for long as McCool grabbed the bottom rope to break it. Layla was able to help out by causing a distraction, which helped Michelle get the pinfall victory.

Winner: Michelle McCool wins via pinfall over Natalya to retain the Divas Championship.

Undertaker vs. Kane
World Championship - Buried Alive Match

Late into this matchup, the Undertaker was able to get Kane into his Hell's Gate submission hold. After some time, Kane tapped out then faded out of consciousness. Undertaker rolled him into the open grave. Meanwhile, Taker spotted Paul Bearer walking nearby. He went over and rubbed his face in the dirt, then prepared to Chokeslam Bearer. Suddenly, Nexus rushed out to attack Taker. Undertaker was fighting them off, but Paul Bearer was able to stir Kane. Kane got out of the grave and hit Taker with the urn to knock him into the grave.

Nexus started shoveling dirt into the grave on Taker, but Kane told them he wanted the joy of doing it. He sent them backstage, then did his pyrotechnics. As his music played a bulldozer poured dirt over Taker in the grave to give Kane the victory. Kane left the scene still the World Champ.

Post-match, Undertaker's music hit as pyrotechnic effects made a lightning blot strike the tombstone of Taker's grave. His logo then appeared across the text of Taker's tombstone. The commentators were puzzled over what happened.

Winner: Kane wins the Buried Alive match against Undertaker to retain World Heavyweight Championship.

Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown for Bragging Rights Trophy

Tyler Reks gained the first elimination as he hit his finisher on Santino Marella of Team Raw. Next elimination happened when Sheamus took out Kofi Kingston with the High Cross for a pinfall. A skirmish happened later in the match, as Del Rio got into it with his teammate Rey Mysterio and threw him against the crowd barrier. Mysterio was apparently hurt as officials helped him backstage.

Next up, John Morrison showed off his impressive high-flying and fast-paced offense, eventually hitting Starship Pain on Jack Swagger to eliminate him. Tyler Reks and Sheamus ended up fighting in the ring, with Sheamus able to take out Reks. Big Show and Sheamus fought, with both men fighting outside the ring and eventually counted out. A Spear from Edge on R-Truth eliminated Truth from the equation.

Next up, CM Punk was able to get a pinfall on Del Rio, shocking the Mexican superstar. As he was eliminated, Rey Mysterio arrived out to attack Del Rio. It came down to Edge & Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk, The Miz and Ezekiel Jackson. After a 619 and followup on Punk, Rey Mysterio eliminated CM Punk from Team Raw. The 2-on-2 left was The Miz & Ezekiel Jackson for Team Raw versus Edge & Rey Mysterio for Team Smackdown. Rey Mysterio withstood Ezekiel Jackson's vicious attacks, and eventually hit the 619 on him as well. Mysterio with his second straight elimination.

The Miz was the last guy left for Team Raw, and avoided a 619 as Alex Riley took down Mysterio. Mysterio hit the 619 on Riley afterwords. Moments later, Rey managed to make the hot tag to Edge who caught Miz with the Spear to give Team Smackdown the victory for its second straight Bragging Rights.

Winners: Team Smackdown wins against Team Raw. Rey Mysterio & Edge are final competitors. Edge makes final elimination against The Miz by pinfall.

Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton
WWE Championship

In the final moments of this one, the referee became knocked out. With that, the rest of Barrett's Nexus crew stormed down to the ring and attacked Orton who was helpless. John Cena eventually got involved, but by attacking The Nexus! Barrett started to confront Cena over what he was doing and Cena explained he was trying to prevent him from getting disqualified, because he'd lose the match. Moments later, Orton gained serious momentum as he prepared to go for the RKO. Cena was in the ring though and interfered, hitting the Attitude Adjustment on Barrett. Due to Cena's interference, Barrett won, but by DQ allowing Orton to keep the WWE Title and Cena to not be fired.

Winner: Wade Barrett wins due to disqualification against Randy Orton when John Cena interfered.

Bragging Rights 2010 PPV Predictions

WWE Pay-Per-Views are hitting us quicker than a Randy Orton RKO! It's time for Bragging Rights, mere weeks after WWE put on the Hell in a Cell PPV. That Pay-Per-View set up many of these situations, especially the main events: WWE Title and World Title are on the line in unique situations. We've also got a Bragging Rights match that really packs a punch with top-of-the-line superstars competing for that trophy that an enraged Kane knocked over on Friday night's Smackdown.

Here's the WWE Characters the Blog Bragging Rights PPV predictions and analysis.

Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler

Bryan has had a strange roller-coaster ride while he's been built by WWE. However, he is the United States Champion. This seems like a match where Vickie Guerrero's rookie Kaitlyn could play a part, costing Ziggler a win. There's no titles on the line and it will give Bryan a good win over a credible WWE star.

Winner: Daniel Bryan wins via pinfall over Dolph Ziggler.

Natalya vs. Layla
Divas Championship

Natalya is part of the Hart clan and seems destined for a title reign. This is the only one available. It appears in this match Layla will be the one defending, but that Michelle McCool will be lurking around the ring like always. Still, it seems time for Natalya to capture a title, and she should be able to slap the Sharpshooter on Layla to make her tap out. Of course, win or not, Michelle McCool will contend that Natalya didn't beat "the official champ," setting up further matches.

Winner: Natalya wins the match, but does she win the official belt?

Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown for Bragging Rights Trophy

They just recently set the record straight, this will be an elimination style tag match, which now makes the additions of Santino Marella, Tyler Reks and Ezekiel Jackson more logical. They could somehow use this to set up a future storyline, making teammates turn against each other. It seems that with all the recent Smackdown triumphs over Raw, someone will win the match for Raw. Expect The Miz to somehow be at least one of the final Team Raw members, further solidifying a great 2010 for Mr. Money in the Bank. However, will this be the PPV where Miz cashes in? Seems less likely with all that's going on here.

Winners: Team Raw wins, The Miz is among the final team members left.

Undertaker vs. Kane
Buried Alive Match

It seems odd that this feud will finish at Bragging Rights instead of Survivor Series, which seems a more appropriate place to have a Buried Alive match. Makes it look almost as if Kane will once again be victorious and claim to have buried the Undertaker for good, leading to yet another match in the future. The other factors here are Undertaker's constant nagging injuries, his age and inability to hold the title due to that for too much of a reign. Kane's had a good run, but how many matches will Undertaker lose to his younger brother, and how many fans will want to keep seeing them fight at each PPV? Taker will finally get a win and the title.

There's an interesting prediction which comes from PWTorch's Pat McNeill. He has a Taker win with the burial of both Kane and Paul Bearer. However, the match has taken so much out of Undertaker that The Miz rushes in to cash in his MITB case and take the World Heavyweight title. Interesting pick!

Winner: Undertaker wins the Buried Alive match and World Title.

Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett
WWE Championship Match

We all know the situation here. John Cena is the reluctant new member of The Nexus and must follow Barrett's orders or be fired from WWE. Cena will be Barrett's corner man. That means there will likely come some situation in this match where the referee is knocked down, and Barrett orders Cena to help him out. This could be where Cena finds a way to defy Barrett and Nexus, or it could be where Cena helps Barrett win the title. If it's the latter, that just sets up more Cena-Orton feuds and we've seen enough of that for a decade. It just seems unlikely Barrett will win because of all the recent hooplah with his arm raised and in-ring speeches, plus the Orton beatdown. Orton will somehow leave as WWE Champion, while tensions will intensify between Nexus leader Barrett and John Cena.

Winner: Randy Orton retains the title, despite potential Cena involvement.

Remember that WWE Characters the Blog provides updated predictions for Pay-Per-Views starting at 8PM Sunday night through 11PM. Make sure to check in and stay updated on all the results! Enjoy the 2010 Bragging Rights PPV!

Smackdown Results 10/22/10

WWE Smackdown Results from Alberta, Canada:

Todd Grisham opened the show just a few days ahead of Bragging Rights PPV. Randy Orton will face Kane in the main event. Team Raw and Team Smackdown were both in the ring. Smackdown GM Theodore Long was there along with the Bragging Rights trophy. He reminded fans that they'll face off in an elimination style tag match on Sunday. Long said he won't be booking the matches tonight, instead he'll let the superstars do so.

Long told Miz to set up the first match. Miz suggested a six man tag match where he'll tag up with Ezekiel Jackson and Sheamus. Big Show selected Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio to team up with him for the match. Edge got on the mic saying he wants a 1-on-1 match with the most condescending superstar on either brand, CM Punk. Morrison challenged Del Rio, then Swagger challenged Santino Marella. Teddy Long said the six man tag match will start things off.

The Miz, Sheamus and Ezekiel Jackson vs. Big Show, Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston

The action broke down as Kofi Kingston kicked away from The Miz and tagged in Show. Show clotheslined Miz down several times then tossed him up overhead. Sheamus got taken down by Mysterio's jump from the corner. Jackson pressed Mysterio overhead, but Show kicked him in the gut. Miz tried to jump off the corner at Show, but Show grabbed him for the Chokeslam. He tagged in Rey Mysterio to hit his finisher from off Show's shoulders.

Winners: Big Show, Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston win via pinfall over The Miz, Sheamus and Ezekiel Jackson.

As Smackdown returned, the commentary crew talked about the Barrett vs Orton match for Bragging Rights for the WWE Title. They showed video highlights from Hell in a Cell when Cena lost to Wade Barrett, forcing Cena to join The Nexus. Cena will now be in Barrett's corner at Bragging Rights PPV. The Raw GM has ordered Cena to take orders from Barrett and follow them or get fired.

Josh Matthews interviewed Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero backstage. Matthews brought up the incident from this past Monday's Raw when Daniel Bryan issued the challenge for Bragging Rights PPV. Bryan tackled Ziggler through the ropes and locked the Labelle Lock on him to make him tap outside. Ziggler interrupted Matthews question backstage saying Bryan is nothing compared to him and he'll crush him at Bragging Rights PPV.

Jack Swagger came to the ring with his Soaring Eagle mascot for the next match.

Santino Marella vs. Jack Swagger

During the match, Santino was knocked to the outside and the eagle mascot creeped towards him. All of a sudden, Hornswoggle came rushing to the ring with his Smackdown flag to chase away the eagle. Later on, Santino and Hornswoggle doubleteamed the eagle on the outside. Santino hit the Cobra punch on it, then Swoggle jumped off the steel steps with a Tadpole Splash on it.

Santino got back in the ring and had control for only a moment. He was ready for the Cobra Punch, but Swagger tripped him down and applied the ankle lock to make Santino tap. Hornswoggle chased Michael Cole out of his commentators chair.

Winner: Jack Swagger wins via submission over Santino Marella.

Smackdown returned with a Dashing Cody Rhodes Grooming Tip. Tonight's tip involved using lip balm to prevent chapped lips. Dashing said sometimes when at home alone you can also apply a special moisturizing lip gloss because it's not just for the ladies and it's rejuvenating.

John Morrison vs. Alberto Del Rio

Late in the match, Morrison knocked Del Rio down near the corner with an enziguiri kick. Morrison jumped up and went for the Starship Pain but Del Rio got both knees up. From there, he was able to apply the armbreaker submission hold to get Morrison to tap out. Team Smackdown is now 3-0 on the night.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio wins via pinfall over John Morrison.

Edge vs. CM Punk

The two superstars were traded for one another several weeks ago between Raw and Smackdown. Edge landed a serious boot to Punk's face causing Punk to lean against the ropes to recover. Edge tried to run and hit a flying cross body but Punk moved out of the way. Edge crashed into the ropes.

Late in the match, Edge got up on the corner so Punk went up to battle. Punk went for the Superplex but Edge tossed him off. With Punk down, Edge started getting that crazed Spear look. He got down and prepared for it. Suddenly, The Miz and Alex Riley were ringside and yanked Edge out of the ring. They tossed him into the crowd barrier causing the DQ.

After that, everyone from Team Raw and Team Smackdown get involved one-by-one to show off their finishing moves. The segment ended with Sheamus hitting the Rouge kick on Show to knock him out of the ring. Mysterio got to the ring and knocked Sheamus into the ropes then did the 619 on him. All of the Smackdown guys raised each others' arms in the ring.

Winner: Edge wins due to disqualification of CM Punk when The Miz interfered.

Team LayCool was in the ring to mock Natalya and Bret Hart as they were dressed up like them. Layla had a Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart beard on, while Michelle wore a black wig, leather jacket and jeans to look like Bret Hart.

Natalya withstood a lot of punishment from Team LayCool but she used a double underhook DDT to toss Layla. Moments later, Natalya yelled at Michelle who was on the outside. Layla tried to attack but Natalya countered and started up the Sharpshooter. Michelle tried to pull Layla out of the ring, but Natalya was too strong and pulled Layla back. The ref got Michelle out of there. Natalya secured the Sharpshooter and Layla tapped out. Kelly Kelly never got in the match.

Post-match, Natalya jumped on Layla and ripped off her fake beard. Michelle finally got Layla out of the ring. Natalya joked around in the ring with the fake beard on as the hometown fans cheered her and Kelly.

Michael Cole talked about how recent politics have unfairly taken shots at WWE. They showed the Stand Up for WWE video campaign piece featuring celebs like Snoop Dogg, Nicole Scherzinger and Ben Stiller.

Randy Orton vs. Kane

The World Champion Kane was introduced first and arrived with manager Paul Bearer. WWE Champ Randy Orton was introduced after a commercial break to the fans' ovation. The commentators called this a Wrestlemania-type match.

Kane started it off with a hard shot to Orton's chin then pounded on him in the corner, and kept going corner to corner. He hit a sideslam then signaled for the early finish. Orton got up and Kane picked him up for the Tombstone. Orton slid off then hit the backbreaker. He set up for the RKO, but Kane slid to the outside. Orton continued the attack outside, ramming Kane to the ringpost. Back in the ring, Orton began to stomp on Kane's body parts. On the outside, Kane leveled Orton with a clothesline.

Later in the match, Kane hit his flying clothesline chop from the corner to take down The Viper. Orton barely kicked out of the pinfall. Kane went for the Chokeslam, but Orton elbowed his way out. Kane kneed him in the gut then rushed the corner where Orton kicked him with a boot. Orton tried to clothesline Kane down several times but couldn't. Finally, he ducked Kane then hit the scoop powerslam. Next up, was the DDT from the ropes. Orton dropped to the mat and began to pound it, ready for the RKO. Kane shoved Orton off though. As Orton came off the ropes, Kane booted him down. From there, Kane was all set for the Chokeslam. Just then, the lights went out and the Undertaker's bell sounded.

When the lights came back on, Kane was looking up the ramp and Orton was down on the mat. Orton got up behind Kane ready. As Kane turned, Orton hit the RKO on him then scored the pinfall victory.

Winner: Randy Orton wins via pinfall over Kane.

Kane was irate post-match as he stormed out of the ring, tore the announce table apart and knocked over the Smackdown Bragging Rights trophy. He got back in the ring pacing around and then Taker's bell sounded again. The lights darkened and light effects hit the ring. Kane was looking around as was Paul Bearer, expecting Undertaker to arrive. Suddenly, a hand broke through the mat. Undertaker popped out of the mat and grabbed Kane's legs. He pulled Kane down towards under the ring. Kane was able to hold on with one hand. He got back up halfway, then Undertaker's hand appeared above his head and pulled Kane back under. The lights darkened as Smackdown went off the air.

WWE Supertars Results 10/21/10:

Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler from Raw started things off, with Superstars airing just days ahead of the 2010 Bragging Rights Pay-Per-View. Santin Marella and Vlad Kozlov arrived out to start the show.

Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Usos

Lawler and Cole talked about how Santino and Tamina have a strange flirtatious relationship going, where Santino seems hesitant to accept her advances. They switched gears to talking over this Sunday's PPV, with the Team Raw vs Smackdown match becoming elimination style.

Kozlov had to escape the Usos to make a hot tag to Santino. In the closing moments, Santino was in the ring with momentum as both Usos ended up in there with him. He prepared for his Cobra strike on the non-legal Uso, but the other tried for a high kick. Santino ducked it and the Uso kicked his own teammate out of the ring. Santino used the Cobra on the legal Uso left in the ring to win it by pinfall.

Winners: Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov win via pinfall over the Usos.

Darren Young vs. William Regal

Young worked a headlock on Regal midway through the match, before Regal took control near the corner and hammered him down. Regal settled into a headlock of his own on the mat to wear down Young.

Young gained some momentum late in the match. However, Regal was able to escape his Full Nelson attempt. With Young ducking down, Regal came from against the ropes to catch him with the Knee Trembler to finish him off.

Winner: William Regal wins via pinfall over Darren Young.

With Smackdown's Todd Grisham and Matt Striker now on hand, The Nexus arrived to the ring sans John Cena. Wade Barrett and crew got into the ring to deliver a message during their first ever appearance on WWE Superstars. Barrett said Sunday when he defeats Randy Orton he'll become the 40th WWE Champion in history. He said his name will be mentioned along with other champs like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and the man in his corner, John Cena. Barrett said if Cena doesn't follow his orders at Bragging Rights, he'll be fired.

Barrett said he's simply better than every single other WWE Champion, and Nexus is the most dominant force in WWE. Barrett had a video package shown to highlight how Barrett defeated Cena at the PPV to force him to join Nexus. The video highlights finished off with this past Monday's Raw where Orton was beat up by Nexus with Cena forced to watch, then forced to hand Orton to Barrett for his finishing move.

Drew McIntyre arrived out to the ring, followed by Dashing Cody Rhodes for the main event Smackdown tag match.

Chris Masters & MVP vs. Dashing Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre

Chris Masters was first to the ring followed by MVP with new theme music. Masters took control of Rhodes early with a backflip to toss Rhodes over him across the ring. He had a near fall afterwords then tagged in MVP. MVP and Drew McIntyre were soon in. Later on, Rhodes and McIntyre were doubleteaming Masters in their corner.

In the final moments of the main event, MVP made a hot tag to come in and take it to both Rhodes and McIntyre. He knocked Drew off the apron, but then Rhodes came back at him with a strike. MVP was quick to turn the tables though and smashed Rhodes face first into his knee. MVP followed it up with the Ballin Elbow drop, then went for The Playmaker. Drew came in to knock him off though. Masters entered the fray and locked the Masterlock on Drew, but Rhodes came at him. Masters released the hold and put it on Rhodes next. McIntyre recovered and kicked Masters in the leg, then knocked him to the outside.

MVP was able to gain control against McIntyre, kicking him outside the ring through the ropes. Meanwhile, Rhodes attacked MVP from behind raking his eyes, then hit the Cross Rhodes to win it.

Winners: Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre win via pinfall over Chris Masters & MVP.

Raw Results 10/18/10

WWE Raw results from Calgary, Canada:

Cole and Lawler were on hand to start off the show, less than a week before Bragging Rights PPV. Just then, Smackdown GM Theodore Long arrived out. Long said he came tonight to Raw, because he can. Long said he'd be taking over Raw tonight. The fans booed, just as the computer email lights and sound effect went off. Cole got up to read as usual.

The email from the Raw GM said "Get out of my ring, now." and told Teddy Long he has no business being there. Long had a ref bring out the Bragging Rights trophy which currently belongs to Smackdown. Long said they will repeat as champs. The lights flashed again for another email, saying "Get out of my ring, or else." Long got out of the ring so Cole went up and confronted him. The lights flashed yet again, so Long went over to the podium and made an announcement. He said now the Raw GM is disconnected. He shut the laptop down, then introduced his Team Smackdown.

Team captain Big Show arrived out first, followed by Edge, Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Tyler Reks and finally Rey Mysterio. All seven guys wore Smackdown blue t-shirts and assembled in the ring together. Just then, The Miz's theme music hit and he arrived out wearing a red Raw T-shirt with his apprentice Alex Riley.

Miz said it looks like the smurfs got blown up near a nuclear power plant. He called Show "Fat Smurf," Del Rio "Rico Suave smurf," and Edge "Smurfette." Miz said that Raw will be taking the trophy home this year, then introduced his team: CM Punk, John Morrison, Santino Marella, newest member Ezekiel Jackson and Sheamus. The Miz warned Team Smackdown to get out of their ring, or they'll make them get out. Smackdown didn't budge so Team Raw advanced down the ramp in formation, then charged. A big fight started up in the ring, including Alex Riley in the mix.

Miz eventually pulled his men out of the ring and held them back, saying "save it for Sunday." Big Show got on the mic saying they'll get out of the ring willingly if Miz faces him one-on-one in a captain vs captain match. CM Punk whispered in Miz's ear, then the rest of the team shoved him forward saying "do it." Miz agreed to the match later on.

Teddy Long was still standing nearby Cole and Lawler, with the Raw GM laptop in hand. Cole told him to get away and go back to Smackdown. They reviewed highlights from last week's Cena vs Miz match to win the captain spot for Team Raw. Cena had control of things and was ready to win until Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty interfered. Miz won, and Cena went after McGill/Harris post-match. Wade Barrett hit the ring to pull Cena away and continually insulted him to end Raw.

The Hart Dynasty vs. Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre

DH Smith and Tyson Kidd seemed to be back together despite recent tension between them. Kidd was the early recipient of a major beating from Drew McIntyre, in and out of the ring.

Late in the match, Smith hit a running powerslam for a near fall. Rhodes came in to break up the move, then went against the ropes, but Kidd was able to deliver a kick move from the apron. Kidd prepared for the Hart Attack, but Smith instead went for the Sharpshooter, ignoring Kidd. Tyson yelled at DH so he turned around to confront him. As DH went back to Drew he got kicked in the leg and Drew hit the FutureShock DDT for the win.

Post match, Kidd backed up the ramp angrily smirking at DH Smith. Natalya tried to confront both guys to get some team unity.

Winners: Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre win via pinfall over The Hart Dynasty.

Backstage, John Cena was preparing in the locker room when Randy Orton came in to confront him. He said they need to lay all their cards on the table. Orton said he knows Cena won't have a problem helping Barrett defeat him for the WWE title. He said he has no problem kicking him in the skull if he gets in his way. Cena told him if he even tries it, he'll break his leg off.

They had a video segment displaying the new R-Truth theme song "Get Crunk" with Eve as his dancer. The clip showed highlights of Truth dancing as well as moves in the ring. Truth is one of Team Raw's members for Bragging Rights.

Goldust vs. Zack Ryder

Goldust arrived wearing the Million Dollar belt and accompanied by his NXT rookie Aksana. As the match was about to start, Ted Dibiase and Maryse arrived out onto the ramp to watch.

Goldust his several moves including "The Final Cut" to finish off Ryder in quick fashion. As he was celebrating over near the corner with the Million Dollar belt and Aksana. Dibiase rushed to the ring to attack. Aksana and Maryse started to tug on opposite ends of the belt, with Aksana grabbing it and taking off. Maryse chased her backstage. Dibiase was watching it, then turned to get hit by Final Cut by Goldust.

Winner: Goldust wins via pinfall over Zack Ryder.

Raw returned with The Nexus assembled in the locker room. Cena walked in asking Barrett if he wanted to see him. Barrett told Cena to give Harris and McGillicutty everything he's got tonight. Cena asked if he was really ordering that and Barrett said yes. Barrett said he wants Cena to test them to see if they're the real deal for Nexus. Barrett then told Cena to go get him a glass of water as the other Nexus guys smirked.

Backstage, one of Big Show's co-stars from Knucklehead was backstage playing the new Smackdown vs Raw 2011 video game, using Big Show to defeat The Miz. Miz walked in behind him and then told him that won't be happening on tonight's Raw. The kid kept talking trash so Miz picked him up to talk some sense at him. Big Show walked in behind Miz, and took his co-star to place him on a table. Show joked around with his co-star after The Miz left the scene.

John Cena walked into the locker room with a glass of water which he handed to Barrett. Barrett took a sip of the water, then told Cena he's really enjoying this. He threw the glass of water in Cena's face, causing all the Nexus guys to start laughing. Cena was clearly upset, but walked out of the locker room as Wade chuckled with the guys about it.

Another reply was shown of Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty interfering in the Miz vs Cena match to help Miz become captain of Team Raw.

John Cena & Randy Orton vs. Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty

Before the match could get underway, Wade Barrett and The Nexus arrived out onto the ramp to watch the match. Cena and Orton stared up the ramp at them before the bell sounded. cena immediately took it to Michael McGillicutty. After a major suplex, McGill rolled out of the ring holding his back. Cena yelled up the ramp at Barrett "that good enough for ya?" Raw hit commercial break.

Cena and Orton worked effectively as a team early on. McGillicutty finally managed to get a move in on Cena and tagged in Husky Harris to pound away on Cena. Harris hit a huge running splash on Cena in the corner. Later on, Harris went for the big splash with Cena on the mat, but Cena rolled away. Cena made the tag to Orton who came in for a huge scoop slam, and then a DDT of McGillicutty from the ropes.

Afterwords, Cena hit Attitude Adjustment on Harris. Orton hit the RKO on McGillicutty to take the winning pinfall. They celebrated in the ring post-match.

Cena offered a handshake with Orton looking at him. Barrett told Cena not to think about shaking his hand. He ordered Cena to step out of the ring or be fired. Cena rolled out as Barrett told him to stand by the announce table. Nexus surrounded the ring with Orton in it. Wade said Cena's got the best spot in the house to watch the demise of The Viper.
Orton fought back early on, beating up Slater near the corner. Barrett attacked from behind so Orton rolled out of the ring then pulled Barrett out. He got a few moves in, before the rest of Nexus pounced on him. They brought Orton back inside for more beating, including finishing moves with Justin Gabriel's 450 Splash the final one.

Cena yelled "Stop" at Barrett and crew. Wade grabbed the mic and ordered Cena to get in the ring now. He yelled it a second time and Cena complied. Barrett told Cena to pick up Orton and give him the Attitude Adjustment now, or get fired. Cena questioned it, then went over and put Orton on his shoulders. Barrett told Cena to hold up, and hand Orton to him instead for his finisher. He hit the Wasteland to slam Orton to the mat then looked down at Orton. Cena left the ring and walked up the ramp after shaking his head at Nexus.

Winners: John Cena and Randy Orton win via pinfall over Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris.

Raw returned with a look at what just happened in the Cena/Orton vs McGill/Harris match, including Barrett and Nexus dismantling The Viper post-match with Cena watching.

As Cole and Lawler were talking over what happened and the upcoming PPV. Just then Vickie Guerrero came out with her "Excuse Me" line. She said she's happy to take the credit for the Smackdown superstars appearing tonight on Raw. She introduced the Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler came out in street clothes then took the mic from Vickie. He said people confuse his confidence for cockiness. He said he's got it all including the most talented and gorgeous woman on the face of the Earth. Ziggler called Vickie his "little ray of Sunshine when his skies are gray."

Just then, Ziggler was interrupted as US Champion Daniel Bryan arrived out. He said he's no ladies man but he's sure he could do better than Vickie. Bryan said he doesn't have the movie star looks or shredded physique like Ziggler, but he knows he can exploit his weaknesses in the ring and make him tap out. Bryan challenged Ziggler to wrestle him at Sunday's PPV. Ziggler said he accepts, but why wait until Sunday. Ziggler got a slap in on Bryan, prompting Bryan to try to fight back. Vickie stood in front of him to block his path. Ziggler stared to try to get out of the ring, so Bryan rushed and tackled him out through the ropes. He put on the Labelle Lock with Ziggler tapping on the outside.

As Vickie screamed from in the ring, Eve's theme music hit. Eve, Kelly Kelly, The Bella Twins, Melina and Gail Kim all got into the ring with a bucket. They surrounded Vickie, then Gail Kim tried to throw the bucket at her. It missed and the red glitter inside spilled out. Eve picked it up and dumped some of the glitter on Vickie to try to complete the gag. Daniel Bryan got back in the ring, and the divas got him to dance with them to some generic music. He did a somersault backlfip and then a split, appearing to hurt his groin a bit.

Natalya vs. Alicia Fox

Natalya will challenge for the Divas title on Sunday at Bragging Rights. Early on in this one, Alicia Fox slapped Natalya in the face several times to gain control of the match. Natalya came from against the ropes to grab Fox and toss her into the corner. After a German suplex, she tried to pull Alicia to center ring. Alicia tried to get the ropes but Natalya pulled her back in and put the Sharpshooter on to make Alicia tap.

Team LayCool arrived out from backstage to start insulting Natalya and Calgary. They said the Harts don't belong in the Hall of Fame, they belong in the Looney Bin. Michelle started to get in the ring but Natalya was ready to fight. Layla rushed in from the other side to grab her leg. Natalya fought back a bit, but Michelle got in the ring and kicked her. Michelle put the Sharpshooter on Natalya while Layla layed down with a camera phone to snap a pic. Natalya reversed it, so Layla dropped her camera to help Michelle escape. Natalya grabbed Layla and tried to get the Sharpshooter on her, but Michelle pulled her out of it to escape the ring.

Winner: Natalya wins via submission over Alicia Fox.

Cole and Lawler discussed CM Punk's impressive debut on Raw last week where he defeated Evan Bourne to join Team Raw. Post-match, Punk destroyed Bourne including a severe submission hold the Anaconda Vice Grip. Cole said Bourne needed surgery that will have him out of action for months.

Backstage, Teddy Long was meeting with Big Show and Smackdown mascot Hornswoggle in a hallway. Josh Matthews rushed up to ask Teddy if it was sort of brazen for them to show up on Raw like this. Teddy asked if it's brazen for him to ask a stupid question. He told Hornswoggle to go do what he does. Horney went down another hall then re-emerged carrying a Smackdown flag. He lead the entire Smackdown roster out from the hallway as they walked past Matthews.

When Raw returned, Cole said recently WWE has been subject to political attacks. Cole said this is what WWE's really all about. They rolled a highlight video which included celebs like Shaq, Nicole Scherzinger, Bent Stiller and Snoop Dogg singing the praises of the sports entertainment company. The video included stats about its viewers, PPV buy rates and website visitors. After the video, Cole told fans who want to participate they can go to WWE.com to help standup against those who are bashing WWE. They showed a "Stand Up for WWE" logo on screen.

John Cena was walking backstage. Wade Barrett came up to him and told Cena he's not done yet. He said he's not finished with Randy Orton by a longshot. He put his arm around Cena to lead him down a hallway.

On a split screen they showed The Miz walking with Alex Riley and Big Show walking, all smiles. Their match is up next.

The Miz vs. The Big Show

Justin Robers introduced Bobbie J Thompson from "Knuckleheads" the co-star of Big Show. Thompson gave the introduction for Big Show after getting some boos from the crowd. Show arrived out with the entire Smackdown roster.

Justin Roberts handled ring intro for The Miz, who arrived out with Alex Riley. He told Riley to stay back and walked to the ring on his own. Miz stopped bottom of the ramp then signaled up the ramp for Riley to head down. Riley started to, then the entire Raw roster arrived as well.

Early on, the action broke down as Miz fell to the outside. MVP got down on the floor to taunt him. Big Show arrived out to go after Miz, but the Raw roster intervened. Just then, Smackdown GM Teddy Long arrived out. He said since both rosters are there with Bragging Rights six days away, they should have a Smackdown vs Raw Battle Royal, right now.

Winner: No contest as Teddy Long ordered a battle royal instead.

Smackdown vs Raw Battle Royal

Raw returned with the Battle Royal in progress. One Raw member was eliminated. Meanwhile, Hornswoggle attacked Michael Cole and took his headset away. Swoggle started grunting and breathing heavy on the mic. Cole got back on a headset asking Hornswoggle what he was doing.

Team Smackdown member Tyler Reks was eliminated early on, followed by Mark henry from Raw. Chavo got tossed out next, then Regal. Cole told Hornswoggle he's better than Matt Striker. Kozlov was tossed out as the train wreck commentary continued with Cole, Lawler and Swoggle. Santino was eliminated.

John Morrison and Del Rio fought on opposing sides of the turnbuckle, then punched each other off to eliminate one another. Swagger somehow got eliminated and blamed Edge, so he yanked him out of the rang and put the ankle lock on him.

The match came down to Big Show versus Ezekiel Jackson, Daniel Bryan and Sheamus. Miz was hiding at ringside. Daniel Bryan got tossed out, so Sheamus and Ezekiel Jackson took on Show. They teamed up to hit a double suplex on Show. Sheamus whipped Jackson into Show in the corner. Jackson tried to return the favor, but Show clobbered him down. Show managed to shove Jackson out over the ropes

Things broke down as Edge snuck back into the ring and hit a Spear on Sheamus. Show was on the apron and grabbed Miz around the neck to throw him out of the ring. Edge followed up with a clothesline on Sheamus for the final elimination. Hornswoggle ran around with the Smackdown flag to celebrate their win.

Winner: Big Show and Edge of Smackdown win the Smackdown vs Raw Battle Royal.

Backstage, Wade Barrett told his Nexus crew it was time to practice what's going to happen when he wins the WWE Title on Sunday. He ordered Cena to join them. He said when he wins a match his hand gets raised as a token of victory. He ordered Cena to do it now. Cena shoved past Slater and Otunga then raised Barrett's hand up. Barrett laughed with his hand still raised as Cena walked off.

Raw Preview 10/17/10

On tonight's Raw, fans will once again be watching to see if John Cena will continue to adhere to Wade Barrett and his orders as part of Nexus. Last week's show saw Cena nearly snap when Barrett hit the ring and pulled Cena off Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty. To add insult to injury, Barrett added a stipulation for tonight's tag match: if Cena and Orton lose, then Barrett will induct McGillicutty and Harris into The Nexus. What will go down when Cena tags up with the WWE Champ Randy Orton? Will Barrett order Cena not to compete in the match, leaving Orton to fend for himself?

The Bragging Rights Pay-Per-View is approaching quickly, and Natalya has her eye on the prize. That prize is the WWE Divas Championship which she'd love to bring back to the Raw divas roster. She's had to contend with the "flawless" team known as LayCool for the past several weeks. Just recently, Team LayCool went a bit far in suggesting that Natalya has a beard much like Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart's. Natalya seemed to take it in stride, but don't expect her to lay off LayCool. With the impending match less than a week away, how will Natalya prepare? Will she be in action tonight?

Last week also saw six of the seven members qualify for Team Raw at Bragging Rights PPV. In individual matches John Morrison, R-Truth, Sheamus, Santino Marella, CM Punk and The Miz all secured spots on the team. The Miz was able to take over as team captain, thanks to interference in his match with John Cena. Still there is one spot left open on the team. Which member of the Raw roster will take that final spot? Will they be revealed on tonight's Raw?

Catch Monday Night Raw tonight at 9PM EST on USA!

Tyler Reks returns as Smackdown Heel

The biggest surprise on Smackdown was not Alberto Del Rio's choice of cars to enter the arena, or that Undertaker could stay up on the ledge of the Portland Rose Garden for most of the show without a bathroom break. Instead it was that a previously washed out and left for dead wrestler named Tyler Reks made his return as a Smackdown heel, and surprisingly earned his way into the Bragging Rights 2010 Pay-Per-View. For now at least.

Previously a "Cowabunga" type surfer gimmick plagued Tyler Reks and he seemed out of place on any roster. He had a brief stint on ECW, to build up some momentum, then moved to Smackdown. Eventually he became MIA, seeming to be lost with his gimmick, and needing more work. Well as of Friday night, Tyler Reks has re-emerged, but now as a Smackdown heel. He looked much more ferocious in the ring as he dismantled the upstart NXT Season 2 winner, Kaval.

In a major shocker, Reks appeared from backstage with his hairstyle looking more like Paul Burchill's doo, almost a pirate-type style. Reks was now much meaner, wielding the mic and telling Kaval he could beat anyone, including him. Kaval had just lasted for five minutes in the ring with Big Show to become a sixth man on the Team Smackdown roster for Bragging Rights. With Reks' challenge though, Kaval must have still been dizzy over surviving Big Show's dominance. He accepted the challenge despite GM Teddy Long arriving out to refuse the match. So the match would go forth.

In about three minutes time, Reks was able to gain a pinfall with a unique airplane spin style face plant move. With that pinfall, he claimed a spot on Team Smackdown for the Bragging Rights PPV. Strange but true, he came back out of nowhere and is now a pivotal part of an impressive team. Also on the team are several former World Champions: captain The Big Show, Edge, Rey Mysterio and Jack Swagger. Another new but promising talent, Alberto Del Rio rounds out the roster along with Tyler Reks.

The smart thing to do in many instances when a wrestler's gimmick isn't working so well? Re-introduce him. Re-package him as a tough guy heel and have him mysteriously show up and make headlines. The question with Reks will be, who will he feud with? Will Kaval challenge him against next Friday to take back his spot on Team Smackdown? What will Reks' role be at the Pay-Per-View?

This should be interesting, as Reks can become a new dominant heel on the Smackdown roster. Reks could very well become a new dominant force on Smackdown, or he could be the sacrificial weak link for Team Smackdown. A pin on Reks right now will prevent Show, Swagger, Mysterio, Del Rio, Edge from looking bad. Still it's quite the intriguing move by the creative team as Team Raw is still awaiting its seventh and final member to be put on the team.

What do you think of the new heel gimmick for Reks so far?

He asked Show what he did in his first match, and Show smirked saying he won the World Heavyweight Title. Show told Kaval he's a different caliber superstar than he is. Kaval asked Show if he's saying he couldn't last in the ring with Big Show for 5 minutes. Show said yes, so Kaval challenged him on that. They set up a match where if Kaval lasts five minutes in the ring with Show, he gets a spot on Team Smackdown.

MVP went out after him, but the Eagle stood to block his path and started dancing. MVP kicked it in the gut then threw it onto the commentators table at Cole. Cole dodged it by jumping out of his seat. Meanwhile, Swagger grabbed MVP and tossed him into the ringpost. He brought him back inside and put the ankle lock on, making MVP quickly tap out.

He rushed Masters and locked on his Armbar submission hold to get the victory.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio wins via submission over Chris Masters to join Team Smackdown at Bragging Rights PPV.

Del Rio got out of the ring and walked over towards Show who had stood up. Show congratulated him and offered a handshake. Del Rio smiled looking at him, didn't shake his hand and winked at Show, before walking off. Show said to the commentators it's ok, all he has to do is help Team Smackdown win at Bragging Rights.

They rolled the preview trailer for Big Show's new movie "Knucklehead."

The Rated-R Superstar Edge was shown walking backstage. He stopped to check out diva Rosa Mendes doing some exercises. Grisham said Edge will try to qualify for Team Smackdown next.

Late in the match, Edge gained momentum but couldn't quite capture the pinfall. Towards the end, Ziggler grabbed Edge's tights to toss him into the corner turnbuckle. Ziggler went for the Zig Zag from behind, but Edge held onto the ropes and tossed him off. He saw Ziggler across the ring and started to get revved up for the Spear. However as he charged at Ziggler, Ziggler leapfrogged over him, then jumped up on the corner area. Ziggler jumped off the corner at Edge who hit him with the Spear in the air.

Show stood on Kaval, then picked him with both hands and dropped him.

Show continued to dominate, slamming Kaval to the mat as the clock ticked down to 3:00. Kaval tried to pick himself up near Show, and started punching away. Show hammered him on the back. Once again, Kaval stood up and got slapped on the chest to bring him back down. The clock made it to the 2:00 mark. Another chest chop in the corner to punish the rookie. The clock go to 10 as Kaval jumped at Show. Show picked him up for a Chokeslam, but the clock eventually hit :00. Kaval dropped to the mat and sat in the corner to recover. Show helped him up to congratulate him for surviving. Cole said he didn't think Show had any notion of beating Kaval, he just wanted to teach him a lesson and some respect.

Winner: Kaval lasts 5 minutes against Big Show to become the sixth member of Team Smackdown.

Kaval was still in the ring recovering. Just then, a guy came out from backstage. It was Tyler Reks with a new look, as a heel. He came to the ring saying he's the next breakout star on Smackdown, and he can beat anyone including Kaval. Reks started to get in the ring, but Teddy Long came out to stop him. He said that Kaval just went five minutes with Show he's in no condition for another match. Kaval got on the mic saying he doesn't need a babysitter, if he wants his spot he'll have to come in the ring and get it. Long said ok, the match is official.

The commentators talked over the Team Raw members and their skills. Suddenly, Kofi rolled over Drew's back then came at him with Trouble in Paradise kick to win it.

Winner: Kofi Kingston wins via pinfall over Drew McIntyre to become the seventh and final member of Team Smackdown.

They showed a long shadow which eventually revealed the Undertaker entering the arena wearing his hood and cloak.

When Smackdown returned, Kane and Paul Bearer were introduced as they came down to the ring. Kane spoke about how he's superior to his brother the Undertaker, and how he's superior to all of the fans. Kane told the fans they only succeed in their relentless quest for mediocrity. Kane said Taker will fail in his efforts once again at Bragging Rights PPV. Kane said if any of the fans think the Undertaker will prevail, their hopes will be buried alive just like Taker.

The fans started up an Undertaker chant as Kane paced around smirking. Just then, Undertaker's bell sounded and the arena went dark, as his theme started up. Undertaker came down the ramp with rage in his eyes, then got onto the steps to bring the light back to the arena. Kane shook his head at him showing no fear. The two brothers stared each other down for a bit with Paul Bearer behind Kane.

Suddenly, Taker attacked Kane and began to get the upperhand, stomping on him on the mat. Taker eventually kicked Kane to the outside, making him retreat up the ramp a bit. Paul Bearer went over to check on him. Just then, Taker raised his arms up then brought them down making the ringposts explode with fire. Bearer and Kane started to back up the ramp fast. As they got to the top, Taker brought his arms up again and slammed them down. An explosion happened up on the ramp and the urn flew out of Bearer's hands down the ramp. Smackdown ended as Taker did his classic kneel pose in the ring. Bearer and Kane were still shocked up on stage.

Bragging Rights Team Raw needs 7th Man

As of Monday night, Team Raw has six of its seven members decided. The Miz defeated John Cena to become captain, thanks to Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty. It appears that these two guys (Harris/McGill) will eventually join Nexus too, just for Wade Barrett to further insult and humiliate John Cena. So far, the story's doing a good job of helping Nexus, and especially Barrett, get major heat as they torture Cena. He'll eventually get his revenge, probably at Survivor Series.

The question is will Barrett become WWE Champion? It seems highly possible if he has Cena's help in defeating Orton. We'll probably see a situation where the ref is down, and Barrett orders Cena to do something to Orton. It's going to be quite interesting come Bragging Rights. Giving him the title win over Orton would make Barrett even more despised and is probably a logical move by WWE to establish him as a hated heel.

They still need one more guy for Team Raw. A poll was running on another wrestling site which so far has Daniel Bryan and Triple H tied in votes for the seventh spot. Other interesting choices included Ezekiel Jackson and Chris Jericho. It seems Triple H is on the campaign trail with Linda McMahon right now in CT, and that Jericho is touring with Fozzy, so don't expect either of them. They'd be major surprises. Maybe Miz will appoint Alex Riley to the spot, or Darren Young will step in. Should be interesting to see who gets it. Right now Team Raw is: The Miz (Capt), R-Truth, John Morrison, Santino Marella, CM Punk and Sheamus. The inclusion of Santino is definitely a shocker, but should provide some humor at the PPV.

No eliminations on Tuesday's NXT, but the jabs between Striker, Cole and Matthews continue to highlight the show. Some funny exchanges including Striker's "I'm more of a Craiglist guy" line. We also were treated to a Goldust proposal as he asked his NXT rookie Aksana to marry him, so he could save her from possible deportation. "Here comes the bride...All dressed in Gold!" You can see where this is headed, Goldust and Aksana versus Dibiase and Maryse. Next elimination is likely to be Maxine right now as they're definitely playing up storylines with Aksana and Kaitlyn for the fans before voting.

Just watched the "MacGruber" Blu-ray tonight, and if you're a wrestling fan, you'll want to check it out for the WWE cameos. Kane, Big Show, Great Khali, MVP and Jericho all suit up for the film. Also, Big Show's new music "Knucklehead" will be in theaters in about a week. It's WWE's first attempted at a comedy film ("The Marine 2" doesn't count.)

Raw Results 10/11/10

Raw Results from Seattle, WA:

Raw opened without the intro theme video. Michael Cole welcomed fans to the arena in Seattle, right before Cena's music hit and he arrived out to the ring. Cole and Lawler noted the mixed reaction to Cena following him joining Nexus. Cena paused with the mic in the ring to observe the mix of cheers and jeers.

Cena discussed how last week he heard chants of "Never Give up," and he promised he never will. He then talked about the risk he took for Hell in a Cell to try to end Nexus, but he made a deal and has to honor it. He brought up how he needs to take orders from Wade Barrett or get fired from WWE. Cena started to explain that he has to do some things the WWE Universe might not want to see. Just then, The Miz's music hit and he came out to the ring along with Alex Riley.

Miz told Cena he took it upon himself to captain Team Raw for the Bragging Rights PPV. He said unlike Cena he doesn't assemble teams by what they do personally. Miz offered Cena a spot on Team Raw to defeat Smackdown at Bragging Rights. Cena said it sounds like a great idea, except for the Miz as captain. Cena said he's got nothing else to do for the PPV so he'll captain Team Raw. Just as they started arguing, Wade Barrett arrived out from backstage.

Barrett said he doesn't care about Raw or Smackdown, just Nexus and the WWE Title. He told Cena he needs his attention on one thing only for Bragging Rights, being in his corner when he takes on Randy Orton for the WWE Title. He told Cena to forget about the rest of the stuff. Alex Riley got into the convo, saying Cena should listen to Barrett, since Miz might end up cashing in his MITB briefcase to become WWE Champ at the PPV.
Just as Miz was agreeing, an email came in from the GM. Cole read the email saying everyone on the Raw roster answers to the GM. The GM said they want Raw to have the best possible team to face Smackdown. Tonight there will be a series of matches with the winners going on to be on Team Raw. The GM said there's only one true captain, determined by a main event match later, with John Cena vs. The Miz.

Miz got into Barrett's face, prompting Wade to snap back. Miz and Riley started a beatdown on Wade with Cena just watching. Finally, Barrett was able to signal Cena to step in and save him. It ended with an Attitude Adjustment given to Riley before Miz and Riley escaped the ring. Barrett got back in the ring and screamed at Cena for not taking action sooner.

Raw resumed with Dibiase and Maryse in the ring. They showed off highlights from last week with Goldust coming to the ring to lay out Dibiase and take the Million Dollar Belt.

R-Truth vs. Ted Dibiase
Team Raw Member #1

This match would determine the first rep for Team Raw at Bragging Rights. Truth came out performing his new theme song with Eve accompanying him to dance. Dibiase and Maryse waited outside as they performed in the ring.

In the match, Dibiase had an impressive spinebuster for a near fall. Dibiase got back to his feet, waiting for Truth to stand for Dream Street. Just then, Goldust appeared on the ramp with the Million Dollar belt and Aksana. Dibiase was distracted allowing Truth a rollup pin. Dibiase barely kicked out, so Truth ducked a clothesline and came back with the Lie Detector.

Winner: R-Truth wins via pinfall over Ted Dibiase to be the first member of Team Raw.

John Morrison vs. Tyson Kidd
Team Raw Match #2

This match was held to determine the second member for Team Raw at Bragging Rights PPV. Michael Cole originally this was to be a Triple Threat with DH Smith also involved, but were just recently told he was nowhere to be found in the building.

The two exchanged rapid-fire pinfalls in the closing moments. Kidd rushed at Morrison from against the ropes. However, Morrison was able to grab Kidd around the throat and then flip himself over with Kidd into a pinfall.

Winner: John Morrison wins via pinfall over Tyson Kidd to become the #2 member of Team Raw.

Backstage, David Otunga, Slater and Gabriel were with Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty. Otunga was grilling the two NXT Season 2 guys about their role at Hell in a Cell and what Barrett promised them. Neither would say much. Finally Barrett walked in and told them to take a walk. He confronted Otunga for what he said to Cena last week, then told Otunga maybe he should help him out tonight by facing Orton one-on-one. Otunga said he could beat Orton, but then suggested Gabriel's 450 Splash would hurt him quite a bit. Barrett agreed and said Gabriel vs Orton with Otunga and Slater in his corner.

Santino Marrella vs.
Team Raw Member #3

This match would determine the third member of Team Raw at Bragging Rights PPV. Santino was walked out by Kozlov, but told Vlad to head backstage so he could take the match on his own.

Ryder went for a trio of pinfalls during the match with Santino kicking out of them all. He went for a Rough Ryder, but Santino ducked it to send Ryder to the mat. He came against the ropes and back to knock down Ryder, then prepped The Cobra. He came back to punch down Ryder with it and took the pinfall. Santino goes on to join Team Raw.

Post-match, Tamina arrived to the ring to jump on Santino hugging him. She got up saying she didn't want to hurt him, then offered her own Cobra hand to kiss his.

Winner: Santino Marrella wins via pinfall over Zack Ryder.

They showed WWE Champ Randy Orton walking backstage, en route to the ring for the next match.

Randy Orton vs. Justin Gabriel

Early on in the match, the action went out of the ring. Orton tossed Gabriel back in so Slater and Otunga walked towards The Viper. Orton fought back on them and the ref came out to order Otunga/Slater backstage.

After a break, Gabriel started to get some momentum. After a near fall, he kicked away on Orton in the corner as Orton was seated against the botton turnbuckle. Gabriel stood on him to try to weaken the Viper more. Although Orton started a comeback, Gabriel hit a jawbreaker then kicked him down for another near fall.

Orton finally got the energy to slam Gabriel backwards to the mat. Both guys were slow up. Orton ducked a spin kick by Gabriel and hit a huge backbreaker. However, Gabriel barely kicked out of the pinfall. Gabriel fell victim to a huge powerslam moments later. Orton had another throwdown slam for a near fall. Later on, Gabriel went for the 450 Splash. Orton tried to roll out of the way but Gabriel landed on Randy's side as he was rolling. Orton held his shoulder as if injured. However, Gabriel got up and Orton surprised him with the RKO for the win.

Winner: Randy Orton wins via pinfall over Justin Gabriel.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
Team Raw Member #4

Bryan was quick to attack Sheamus at the bell after last week's beating. Bryan had control of the match in surprising fashion with quick moves. He had a near fall in the match. Bryan was able to flip off the corner to elude Sheamus but as he rushed back Sheamus caught him for a backbreaker. Sheamus took control from there. Later on, Bryan came back with a flurry of kicks to Sheamus' chest. He hit a missle dropkick moments later for another near fall, then tried to get Sheamus over for a submission, but Sheamus kicked out then blasted Bryan with a clothesline.

In the closing moments, Sheamus went for the Celtic Cross. Bryan seemed out of it, but slid down off Sheamus' back and then turned it into a pinfall. He almost had it, but Sheamus kicked out. As Bryan ran at him, Sheamus delivered the Rogue Kick to level him for the winning pin. Sheamus is the fourth member of Team Raw.

Winner: Sheamus wins via pinfall over Daniel Bryan to become the fourth member of Team Raw.

John Cena was in the locker room backstage when R-Truth came in to ask what's up. He asked Cena if Barrett ordered him to take out one of the guys from the Raw roster, would he? Truth said he knows he would. He talked about how Cena has to do what he doesn't like for Barrett, or he can do the other option, just quit. Truth left Cena with that thought to marinate.

Jerry Lawler mentioned the Goo Goo Dolls song "Not Broken." They kicked off a video package again about the WWE's efforts to support the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. It included mention of the overseas WWE tours such as Tribute to the Troops every Christmas Holiday.

Evan Bourne vs. CM Punk
Team Raw Member #5

This match would determine the fifth member for Team Raw at Bragging Rights PPV. Justin Roberts introduced the just acquired from Smackdown, CM Punk. Cole kept saying how it was a great trade bringing the former 3-time World Champ to Raw.

Late in the match, Bourne had the momentum as he delivered a spin kick to knock Punk down near the corner. Bourne climbed up for the Air Bourne and was ready to go, but Punk got up and knocked his footing out. He grabbed Bourne off the corner for the GTS and hit it for the pinfall win.

Post match, Punk knocked Bourne out of the ring with a clothesline. He kept attacking on the outside, eventually running Bourne shoulder first into the steel post. He locked the Anaconda Vice on Bourne with a ref trying to break it up.

Winner: CM Punk wins via pinfall over Evan Bourne to become the fifth member of Team Raw.

Team Raw now consists of CM Punk, John Morrison, R-Truth, Santino Marella and Sheamus.

After a commercial break, they showed what Punk did to Bourne, and also Bourne being helped backstage by the referees. Cole said Mark Henry was not around to help out tonight.

Natalya was in the ring to cut a promo about Team LayCool. She said in two weeks she'll be walking out of Bragging Rights as the Unified Divas Champion. Just then, she was interrupted as Team LayCool arrived out. They insulted Natalya asking if she realizes she's appearing in HD, Hi-Def, exposing all her flaws. They said she inherited her dad's facial hair gene, and she has to shave herself before every single show. They put up a pic on the Titantron of Natalya side-by-side with Anvil Neidhart. Natalya retorted after last week's headset incident they confirmed they're the most annoying divas. Michelle said everyone loves them and in two weeks Natalya will love them too.
LayCool started to back up the ramp taunting Natalya as they did. Just then, the Bella Twins, Gail Kim and Eve Torres showed up on the ramp. LayCool headed back towards the ring. The Raw divas chased them down and started to attack, tossing them into the ring. Natalya set up for a Sharpshooter on Layla, with Michelle escaping. She yanked Layla out of the ring to save her, and LayCool rushed up into the crowd to get away from the divas.

The Miz and Alex Riley were shown walking backstage. Miz's match against Cena is next.

John Cena vs. The Miz
Team Raw Captain

This match would determine the sixth member and captain for Team Raw at Bragging Rights. Justin Roberts said he was just informed this would also be a No Disqualification match. Miz was introduced first and came out with Alex Riley. Before the match started, Michael Cole noted that The Undertaker will return to Smackdown on SyFy this Friday.

Early in the match, Alex Riley yanked Cena out of the ring then blasted him down with a clothesline. Miz smiled in the ring with Cena down outside as Raw went to break. After the return, Riley kept beating on Cena on the outside of the ring, allowing Miz to come out and smash Cena onto the commentators table. He stood Cena up on the table and went for Skullcrushing finale. Cena countered and got hit up for Attitude Adjustment. Miz slid off and shoved Cena into the crowd barrier hard.

Cena was able to fight back on Riley a bit outside the ring, but Miz soon attacked Cena to get him back into the ring. Miz went for his running clothesline in the corner, but Cena got away. He came back with multiple shoulder tackles and then slammed Miz to the mat. He did the Five Knuckle Shuffle and then went for AA, but Miz escaped and kicked Cena down for a near fall. Cena teased STF with Miz barely escaping.

Riley finally handed the MITB case to Miz. Miz rushed at Cena with it and tried to hit him, but Cena ducked it. He tripped Miz down for the STF but Miz managed to crawl towards the bottom rope to break it up. Riley got into the ring to try to attack Cena, but ended up getting tripped down for the STF. Cena kept it locked and Riley tapped although he wasn't in the match really. Miz stood up and Cena hoisted him up for the STF. However, Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty rushed into the ring to surprise Cena. McGill hit his swinging neckbreaker and Husky followed with his Senton Bomb. Miz crawled over for the winning pin.

The Miz now captains Team Raw which has six of its seven members. There's one more left to be determined.

Winner: The Miz wins via pinfall over John Cena to become the captain of Team Raw.

Post match, Harris and McGillicutty got in the ring behind Cena. He turned to rush at them. Cena tackled McGill down then fought back against Harris. Cena was doing well in the fight, until Barrett hit the ring to pull Cena off them. He started to yell at Cena with Cena going nose-to-nose with him. Soon the lights flashed and the email sound chimed. Cole read the latest email from the GM which said if Harris and McGillicutty want to get involved in matches, maybe they should be in an official one. Next week, Harris and McGill go against Cena and Orton in tag action.

Barrett got on the mic and added his own stipulation to the match. He said if Cena loses the match next week, he'll officially induct Harris and McGillicutty to the Nexus. After that, Barrett began to bait and taunt Cena, saying he bets he wants to drop him right there. Barrett kept telling Cena he's a coward and pathetic because he won't do what the fans want. Cena was clearly angered, with Barrett saying Cena won't touch him because he's scared. Barrett even turned his back on Cena and said Cena still wouldn't touch him.

Raw finally ended as Cena left the ring to walk up the ramp. Wade ordered him to stop, and as Cena turned, Wade did the "You Can't C Me" to Cena mocking him. Cena headed backstage as Raw ended.
