Raw Preview 3/29/10
With the Wrestlemania 26 Pay-Per-View officially over, the Superstars of WWE Raw will return Monday night. The big news is that the Undertaker was victorious over Shawn Michaels in "The Streak vs Career" match. With his 18th Wrestlemania win, Undertaker has also ended the legendary career of "Mr. Wrestlemania" Shawn Michaels. It was a hard fought match by both competitors, but Undertaker's gritty determination and Wrestlemania mystique brought him another win. Now with Michaels forced to retire from WWE, will he make an appearance on Raw tonight? Or will there be a Farewell appearance scheduled by Michaels in the coming weeks?
Of course there's also a new WWE Champion, as John Cena has once again reclaimed his championship. In last night's match, he finally "tamed The Animal" putting him into the STF submission and getting Batista to tap out. It was a brutal contest for both men, but Cena finally proved to Batista why he's the top star in the company. The question is, will that be enough for Batista? Batista will have that ever-so-popular rematch clause. Will he go for the rematch on tonight's Raw?
Also at Wrestlemania 26 we saw several other Raw superstars victorious. Among those were the 2010 Money in the Bank ladder match winner, Jack Swagger. Swagger managed to knock Christian off the top of the ladder using the briefcase as a weapon. It was a grueling match for all of the superstars involved and had some bits never seen before in the ring, including Kofi Kingston using two ladders as walking stilts! However, with Swagger now owning the briefcase he gets a WWE Title opportunity anytime, anyplace. With Swagger having the next year to choose his time and place for the title shot, which title will he pursue? Will Swagger make his plans known on tonight's Raw?
Catch all the fallout and follow-up from Wrestlemania 26 on tonight's episode of Raw at 9PM EST on USA!
