Raw Results 08/25/14

Raw Results from Anaheim, CA:

The show opened with Michael Cole in the ring as he introduced three Hall of Famers for a forum with Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. They debated on whether or not Cena has a chance to defeat Brock Lesnar in the rematch at Night of Champions. Michaels and Flair said they didn’t think so, with HBK even suggesting Cena might consider retirement. Meanwhile Hogan kept defending Cena, saying he beat Brock once before and could do so again. As they argued a bit, Cena’s music hit to bring him to the ring. Cena came in and talked up each of the three men, saying he respects that everyone has an opinion but is sick of everyone saying what they thought he should do. He told them what he was going to do: he was going to Night of Champions not just to beat Lesnar, but to beat Lesnar’s ass.

Rusev defeated Jack Swagger due to referee stoppage. The match last over 12 minutes. Towards the end, Rusev was kicking away on Swagger in the corner. The ref pulled him away several times and warned him. The ref called for the bell saying that Swagger couldn’t defend himself anymore.

After break, Swagger was being attended to backstage when Bo Dallas walked in. He told Swagger once again he had a tough fight out there and once again let his country down. He told him all he had to do was Bo-Lieve. He said to think about it before he left the scene.

Cesaro defeated Rob Van Dam via pinfall to become new #1 contender for the US Championship. United States champion Sheamus was on guest commentary. After a three minute back and forth match, Cesaro suddenly grabbed RVD and hit the Neutralizer quickly for the win. Post-match, he went to the outside and grabbed the US title. Sheamus told him to give it back, so Cesaro looked at it then threw it back at Sheamus. The refs had to stay between the two men with Cesaro backing away smiling.

Paige defeated Natalya via pinfall in a non-title match. Paige hit the Paige Turner in under 3 minutes to get the win. AJ Lee came skipping to the ring. The distraction helped Natalya to clothesline down Paige before leaving. AJ got in the ring with a mic, then helped Paige up. She said they are frenemies and knew Paige was sincere, but not like she was. She hugged Paige, then kissed her hand and left the ring.

They had a mock funeral in the ring, with a wreath set up and a picture of Ambrose. Kane was there at a podium saying they were there to remember Ambrose, while also celebrating the future of Mr. Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins. Rollins came to the ring in a black suit, saying he was the leader of the greatest force in wrestling history. He said he chose Ambrose because he had no fear, but that led to a problem. He had to teach Ambrose The Authority always wins. They showed a video of his beatdown on Ambrose in the match last week.

Brie talked about how she loved the friends and her husband in her life right now, but Nikki and her had been together for years. She talked about there being ultrasound pics of them holding hands in the womb. She said to forget about WWE, Total Divas and everything else, she just wanted to be sisters again.

Nikki told her it was all just an act, and they were holding hands in the womb, but Brie was holding her back. Nikki said she was tired of fans having twin fantasies, because they were too fat to ever have something like that happen in real life. Nikki kept going on, saying Brie quit WWE to leave her to get beat up. Lawler tried to calm her down, but Nikki told the “old man” to get out of the ring. She grabbed Brie by the hair and said she has no sister and wished Brie died in the womb. Nikki ended up dumping Brie to the outside and attacking Brie. 2014 WWE Extreme Rules Matches (Updated)

As of Monday’s episode of Raw, several new matches were added to the official 2014 WWE Extreme Rules card. Among them will be the first-ever “WeeLC” match featuring Hornswoggle vs. Torito, as well as a Triple Threat match, and the finalized match for the Intercontinental Title. These three matches join several other great bouts on a stacked card for Sunday’s big event.

The WeeLC match doesn’t feature any stipulations, but one might expect it to mimic the TLC match (Tables, Ladders & Chairs). Hornswoggle and El Torito squared off on Smackdown about a week ago and now will take their feud to the next level. The match is scheduled to appear on WWE’s pre-show for Extreme Rules.

Also joining the card will be the Intercontinental Title match featuring Big E defending his title. Bad News Barrett was the winner of the #1 contender’s tournament after defeating RVD in the tournament finals on Monday’s Raw. Barrett now gets the title shot during the pay-per-view. Van Dam will be inserted into a Triple Threat match against feuding stars Jack Swagger and Cesaro, with no stipulations as of this writing.

Those matches join John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt in the steel cage, Paige vs. Tamina (Divas title), The Shield vs. Evolution, R-Truth and Xavier Woods vs. Alexander Rusev, as well as the big WWE World Championship match. In that matchup, Kane takes on Daniel Bryan for the title in an Extreme Rules match.

The pay-per-view arrives this Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on various cable and satellite providers. WWE mentioned on Raw that DISH and DIRECTV won’t be among those providers on Sunday, but encouraged fans to subscribe to WWE Network online to see the PPV.

He talked about beating Bryan the next night and Cena coming out to save him, but ending up getting put down as well.  Cena came out to interrupt and talked about how everyone should be jealous of what Orton has and that he'll be under a microscope now.  He asked what sort of champion he wanted to be known as, suggesting he would be seen as a coward for not giving Daniel Bryan a fair fight.  Orton said Bryan is not going to get another rematch, so out came Bryan.  He said it doesn't matter because when Cena gets his rematch and beats Orton, he'll finally get his fair shot at the title again.

The Shield's Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns came out to the ring as Orton left over the barricade.  Before they could get into the ring, CM Punk's music hit and he arrived down to the ring to make it a fair 3-on-3.  Vickie Guerrero came out with her "Excuse Me" and told them it would be The Shield vs. Cena, Bryan and Punk for Smackdown's main event match.

Big E. Langston defeated Jack Swagger in a non-title match via pinfall.  Zeb Colter was on commentary with Antonio Cesaro ringside as well as Mark Henry.  At one point, Cesaro tried to interfere, but Henry attacked him.  Big E hit the Big Ending for the win.

Brie Bella defeated Tamina via pinfall.  AJ Lee was on commentary while Nikki Bella was ringside.  Tamina dominated for the most part, with Brie finally getting some offense in.  Tamina went for her Superfly Splash at one point, but Brie got her knees up to block it and grab a pinfall.  Post-match, the Bellas attacked AJ.  Tamina went over to check on AJ outside the ring as the Bellas celebrated on the inside.

Wade "Bad News" Barrett did a promo about the holiday season saying kids are out of school, adults are out of work and everyone's happy, but he has bad news.  He said after they've opened all those gifts and stuffed themselves, they've left themselves in massive debt that will take 12 months to crawl out of until they do it all over again next holiday season.

Sin Cara defeated Drew McIntyre via pinfall.  Jinder Mahal was ringside for Drew.  McIntyre had control for a bit early on, but Sin Cara eventually started up the momentum with his move set.  He finished things with the Swanton Bomb.

Tensai defeated Brodus Clay via pinfall.  The two traded early offense with Tensai throwing strikes.  Clay did some of his dance moves in a mocking way after failing on a pinfall attempt.  His theme music hit and Xavier Woods came out.  The distraction allowed Tensai to get a quick roll-up pinfall.  Post-match, Brodus was upset over the loss and attacked Tensai, beating him up until Woods rushed in for the save.

Erick Rowan & Luke Harper defeated The Rhodes Bros. via pinfall in a non-title match.  Bray Wyatt was outside the ring watching.  Late in the match, the action broke down outside with everyone fighting.  Cody was in front of Bray who shoved him into the ringpost, then tossed him back into the ring.  Harper hit a spinning lariat on Cody to get the win.  Post-match, Harper and Rowan beat down Cody, but Daniel Bryan ran down to save him with a chair.  He took down Harper on the ramp and then Rowan up on the apron, before getting to Bray.  Bryan got in some punches on Bray, but Rowan distracted him allowing Bray to get out of the ring.

Damien Sandow came out to cut a promo denouncing the Christmas holiday.  He said it's people asking for gifts they don't deserve and decorating filthy houses with ugly ornaments.  He vowed to cancel it next week on Raw.  The Miz came out to interrupt saying Sandow is no Santa Claus and that he couldn't even carry Santa's sack.  This set up a match between the two right after.

Damien Sandow defeated The Miz via pinfall.  The match was quick and saw Miz eventually put the Figure Four leglock on.  Sandow escaped by grabbing the ropes as Miz argued with the referee.  The distraction allowed Sandow to get a quick rollup, grabbing Miz's tights to secure it.

Fandango defeated Kofi Kingston via pinfall.  Kofi made a big comeback at one point, hitting his double leg Boom Drop, and then setting up for Trouble in Paradise.  Fandango ducked the move and rolled to the outside.  Kofi teased a flying leap move, but caught himself and landed on the apron instead.  Fandango knocked Kofi off his feet to the mat, then hit the top rope leg drop to get the win.

Backstage, Renee Young was getting ready for an interview with Daniel Bryan, when Luke Harper was seen standing in the distance.  Rowan was then shown on Bryan's other side and Bray Wyatt showed up behind Bryan.  All of the Wyatts started to attack Bryan, beating him down.  As Harper and Rowan continued the attack, Bray fell to his knees and sang "Ashes, ashes, they all fall down."

After a commercial break, The Shield was shown in the ring for the main event.  Vickie Guerrero arrived out after Cena and Punk were introduced.  She said the attack on Daniel Bryan was unfortunate, but the show must go on.  She said it's now a 3-on-2 handicap match.

John Cena & CM Punk defeated The Shield via pinfall.  Punk had early control of things for a while and eventually tagged in Cena.  The Shield managed to isolate Cena, wearing him down and keeping him away from tagging.  Cena finally was able to fight out of a suplex attempt by Rollins, then hit a top-rope DDT on Ambrose who tagged in.  Punk and Reigns eventually got tagged in, with Punk delivering a mule kick to Reigns' stomach.  Punk kept up the attack and cleared the ring, then hit a suicide dive on Rollins outside the ring.  Punk ultimately hit a bunch of his moves on Rollins and the flying elbow for a pinfall attempt.  Reigns came in and broke up the pin, then all three members of Shield kept attacking Punk so the ref called for the bell.

Post-match, Cena came in to the ring to save Punk, throwing Reigns to the outside and whipping him into the guardrail.  Back in the ring, he got Rollins in the corner for some moves, but as Cena turned around, Reigns was back in and speared him down.  The Shield started to beat down both Punk and Cena more, throwing Punk outside, and hitting a Triple Powerbomb on Cena.  Big E Langston's music hit and he came rushing down to clear Ambrose and Rollins out of the ring.  Big E and Reigns squared off in the middle of the ring, with Punk coming into the ring with a steel chair.  The Shield were able to escape the scene as Langston's music hit to close the show.

Curtis Axel defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall in a non-title match.  Early on, Ryder had control using quick moves, but Axel delivered a shot to the back of Ryder's head to stop his momentum.  Axel kept control of things for a bit, but Ryder again got momentum with some quick offense including a Broski Boot.  Axel held onto the ropes to stay in the corner, then yanked Ryder face-first against the turnbuckle.  He finished up with the neckbreaker finisher for the win.

Raw Results 05/13/13

WWE Raw Results from Tulsa, OK:

A video package recapped last week's big events: Ryback defeating Kane with The Shield arriving to surround the ring and Daniel Bryan coming in to try to defend his partner.  That ended with Ryback leaving the ring and Cena rushing down to get involved.  Once The Shield pounced, Ryback came in with a chair to help out, but ultimately hit Cena with it.  Also last week, Brock Lesnar destroyed HHH's office at WWE HQ, but Triple H showed up on Raw to confront Paul Heyman from the ring, aka "his office."

Jerry Lawler was in the ring to start Raw and discussed the feud between Chris Jericho and Fandango.  He talked about how tonight the two will square off in a "Dance Off" on Raw.  During the contest, Fandango's dance partner Summer Rae faked an ankle injury to draw concern from Jericho's pro dance partner, Edyta Sliwinska, formerly on "Dancing With the Stars."  Trainers came in to check on Summer, with Jericho distracted, so Fandango slipped back in the ring and attacked.  He hit his big legdrop off the corner and even used part of the wooden dance floor from the ring set to hit Jericho with.

Ryback defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall in a quick match.  Ryback had control most of the match and eventually hit Shellshocked for the win.

Darren Young & Titus O'Neil defeated Tons of Funk via pinfall.  Late in the match, Clay hit a splash on Titus, then knocked D-Young off the side apron.  He went after Titus, but eventually chaos ensued and Titus scored a rollup pinfall on Clay to get the win.  A replay showed D-Young using a hair pick to hit Clay at the end.

Smackdown's Teddy Long came out to discuss the World Heavyweight Title situation and if the title would still be up for grabs or forfeited.  Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger interrupted, saying Swagger should receive the title.  Big E Langston and AJ Lee came out saying the title is going nowhere.  Big E suggests Swagger should be fired for what he did to Dolph.  Big E and Swagger get into it.  Teddy breaks it up and says Dolph won't be stripped, but Jack Swagger will face Alberto Del Rio in a #1 contenders I Quit Match at Extreme Rules.  For tonight, fans will vote on WWE's app for either Swagger or Del Rio vs. Big E.

Kofi Kingston defeated Damien Sandow via pinfall in a non-title match.  Before the match, they announced that Kofi will defend his United States Championship against The Shield's Dean Ambrose at Extreme Rules. In a relatively quick match, Kofi hit Trouble in Paradise for the win out of nowhere

Josh Matthews interviewed Mark Henry in the ring about his upcoming match with Sheamus, asking how he plans to defeat him in a Strap match at Extreme Rules.  He told Matthews to put the strap on, so he put it around his wrist.  Henry then dragged Matthews to each ring post to touch it, like he'll need to do in the PPV match.  He let Matthews go and called out Sheamus.  Sheamus' music eventually hit and he came to the stage.  Henry tells him to get down to the ring so Sheamus says he never backs down from a fight.  He heads to the ring then says he put a present under the ring earlier.  Sheamus grabs his own strap from under the ring and uses it on Henry.  They go back and forth with Henry eventually getting sent to the floor and heading up the ramp.

Randy Orton defeated Antonio Cesaro via pinfall.  Late in this one, Orton hit his huge powerslam move.  Cesaro eventually ended up out on the apron, so Orton went for the draping DDT.  Cesaro blocked it, then had a rollup for a nearfall.  Orton ultimately hit an RKO out of nowhere for the win.

The Miz defeated Heath Slater via pinfall.  The Miz made his big return to the ring tonight.  3MB was ringside and tried to get involved but to no avail.  Miz was able to put the Figure Four on Slater to make him tap out.  They also announced Miz vs. Cody Rhodes for an Extreme Rules pre-show match on Sunday.

John Cena won a six-man tag team elimination match due to disqualification.  They announced that Team Hell No will defend their tag team titles against The Shield's Rollins and Reigns in a Tag Team Tornado match.  All four men will be in the ring at once, with the first team able to get a pinfall or submission announced as the winners.  The first elimination came when Kane cleared the ring of Shield then went to the outside and used the announcers table on them for his attack, getting DQ'd.  Later, Bryan had the No Lock on Rollins, but he fought out of it.  Ambrose tagged in with Bryan fighting both guys off.  However, Rollins took down Bryan with a huge kick, then Ambrose hit a faceplant to eliminate him.  That left Cena against all 3 members of Shield.  Cena staggered to get back on the apron and then waited for the crowd to help him get revved up.  He rushed into the ring attacking the legal man for Shield.

Cena ended up fighting all three men off, and clearing the ring at one point, allowing him to hit the Attitude Adjustment on Rollins and pin him for an elimination.  Moments later, Cena got Ambrose up, but Reigns came in to distract the ref.  Ambrose grabbed the top rope and Reigns shoved the ref aside to tackle down Cena.  Reigns was DQ'd for that, eliminating him.  Ambrose crawled over to try to take an easy pinfall, but Cena kicked out.  Cena got Ambrose up for an AA, but the other two members of Shield rushed back in to attack, forcing the ref to call for the bell.

Post-match, Shield kept up the attack and hit the Triple Powerbomb on Cena.  They eventually left the ring, but Ryback's music soon hit.  He came to the ring and stood over Cena, then left, seeming like he wasn't going to do anything.  Ryback stopped for several moments, then turned around and rushed back to the ring, grabbing a steel chair from under the ring.  Ryback got in the ring, then stood on Cena's leg with the hurt achilles/heel.  Cena pleaded with him, but Ryback smashed the cheer down on his injured area, then left up the ramp posing on stage and yelling "Ryback Rules!"

Jack Swagger defeated Big E Langston due to countout.  Lawler announced that WWE fans voted Jack Swagger 65% to 35% for Del Rio to be in this match.  Cole was shocked by it, but JBL quipped, "he's from Oklahoma."  In the match, Swagger had the Patriot Lock on Big E, but he managed to get to the ropes to break it.  Big E then dumped Swagger to the outside, followed him out there and threw him over the crowd barrier.  However, Swagger managed to get over the barrier and got back into the ring before Big E could.  Post-match, Alberto Del Rio rushed down to attack, but Swagger fought him off and went for the Patriot Lock.  Ricardo Rodriguez attacked Swagger with his bucket to make the save.  Del Rio put the Cross armbreaker on.  Big E got involved, but Del Rio made a come back to kick Big E down, then sent Swagger to the outside, then stood tall as his theme music played on.

AJ Lee defeated Natalya via submission.  Bella Twins and Kaitlyn were on commentary with Khali and Hornswoggle standing by.  Kaitlyn had another gift she was checking out during commentary, with Bellas making fun of who might have sent it, saying it was her dad.  Lawler suggested it was AJ, saying she's been through every guy in the locker room.  AJ eventually won the match by putting a submission hold on Natalya, wrapping her legs around her neck.  Natalya tapped out and the nrolled to the apron, where Kaitlyn helped her out of the ring.  Khali and Hornswoggle went to help them up the ramp as Cole said it was like the cast of "The Munsters" out there.

Triple H came to the ring and the steel cage dropped down around it.  HHH talked about learning to feed upon the hate he feels.  He said he's never felt more at home then in the ring and when surrounded by steel.  He called out Lesnar, who came out with Heyman.  Heyman started to talk but HHH told him to zip it.  Heyman talked about how Brock is a seasoned cage fighter and he's going to make HHH hate many things, including having to face his father after a loss, and he'll hate having to go down in history as "the loser."  Heyman said Lesnar's ready for a fight tonight, but HHH has to wait until Sunday because his client "doesn't fight for free."

HHH taunted Lesnar as not being a man, saying Heyman can't afford for Lesnar to step into the ring and face him like a man.  HHH suggested that when he defeats Lesnar on Sunday, there goes Heyman's meal ticket.  HHH said he thinks Lesnar must think he's the baddest man standing in the room, but Heyman doesn't.  HHH said he's not talking to Heyman anymore, so he directed his talk to Lesnar.  HHH asked if he's going to keep listening to Heyman telling him what to do, or if he's going to come down to the ring instead of being "Brock Lesnar, the bitch."

Lesnar started down to the ring with Heyman pleading for him to stop.  Four referees stood by advising Lesnar not to go inside the cage door, but he started up the stairs for the ring.  Lesnar put one leg in through the ropes and then went into the ring to stand face to face with HHH.  The two started exchanging strikes, with Lesnar ramming HHH into the corner.  He threw HHH with a backwards suplex, then yelled for Heyman to shut the door.  Paul did so and Lesnar rushed at HHH, but HHH avoided him and tossed Lesnar face first into the cage wall.  From there, HHH grabbed Lesnar and ran him over to throw into the cage door, knocking Heyman and several refs towards the crowd barrier.

Lesnar went over and helped up Heyman to leave the scene while glaring towards HHH as the crowd booed.  Triple H's music played as he climbed up the cage wall and sat on the top of the scaffolding.  Heyman and Lesnar looked towards him from the stage as Raw went off the air.

Raw Preview 05/05/13

On last week's Raw, WWE Champion John Cena attempted to do his part to compete, as he teamed up with Team Hell No to take on The Shield.  Originally, Ryback had been scheduled as the partner for the tag team champs, but backed out, saying he didn't trust them.  Once Ryback left the building, Cena said despite his injury, he'd compete.  Later on, that injury came back to play a part in the match, as Cena didn't have the strength to hoist up one of The Shield members with his hurt heel.  Shield took the match, and Ryback got to look on as Cena was checked on to finish off the show.  Will these two cross paths again on tonight's episode of Raw before their Extreme Rules match?

Also on last week's Raw, Alberto Del Rio's personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, was able to win a Triple Threat match against Zeb Colter and Big E Langston.  With the victory, Del Rio was allowed to choose the stipulation for the upcoming Triple Threat match at Extreme Rules for the World Championship.  Del Rio chose for it to be a ladders match, which is fitting as Del Rio, Swagger, and Ziggler all won Money in the Bank ladder matches and eventually cashed in contracts to become champions.  Now the three will look to gain momentum heading into the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV.  Which wrestler will stand tall on tonight's show?

And finally, several other stories will continue this week, such as Big Show and Rand Orton's feud, and Sheamus and Mark Henry's feud.  Fandango and Great Khali also had a Dance-off, with the dancing superstar attacking Khali from behind and hitting a leg drop on him due to the results.  What sorts of matches will these superstars end up in, and will it lead to matches or stipulations for Extreme Rules PPV?

The Shield came to the ring and cut a promo about beating up The Undertaker, and told him to rest in peace.  They brought up how justice doesn't care if you're undefeated at Wrestlemania, the WWE champ, or what your name is.  They said they haven't forgot about Cena and Ryback.  3MB interrupted and came out on stage saying they have unfinished business after Shield interrupted their near beat down of Triple H.  3MB surrounded the ring and then started to fight with Shield, who began to get the upperhand.  Kane's pyro went off and he and Daniel Bryan came to the ring to cause Shield to retreat through the crowd.  Kane and Bryan cleared the ring of Shield, then Kane chokeslammed Slater.  Bryan got a "YES" chant going from the crowd as Shield took off.

After a break, Team Ziggler was walking backstage when they walked up to Natalya and Kaitlyn.  AJ and Kaitlyn have a few words about the divas title.  A WWE staff member brings a gift up, with AJ thinking its for her, but he gives it to AJ.  Kaitlyn finds a letter with her gift saying she has a secret admirer.

They showed a video package for Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H at Extreme Rules PPV.

Backstage, Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox were talking when Ryback comes in.  He tells them he won't face The Shield alone again.  Vickie tells him it will be a six man tag match with him, Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. Shield.  Ryback said he's been there, done that, and doesn't trust them.  He says no and leaves.

Jack Swagger defeated Zack Ryder via submission.  Late in the match, Ryder dumped Swagger out over the top ropes and hit a dropkick on him through the ropes.  Ryder brought things back into the ring, but Swagger got the advantage and hit a gutwrench powerbomb.  He put on the Patriot Lock to force a tap out.  Post-match, he finally broke the hold, and then Zeb taunted Ryder a bit.

During break, Striker tried to interview Ryback for the WWE app, but Ryback walked off and left the building.

Mark Henry came to the ring with a big rope and microphone.  He said he's there to prove he's the strongest man in the world, and asked Vickie to give him two opponents.  First up is Tensai, for a tug-of-war.  Henry pulled Tensai caross the line to win round 1.  Brodus Clay comes out next.

Henry wins another round of tug-o-war, pulling Clay across the line.  He celebrates his win, but then Sheamus' music hits.  The Celtic Warrior comes to the stage taunting Henry.  Sheamus heads to the ring for a round of tug-o-war.  Henry is about to win, but Sheamus lets go of the rope to cause Henry to fall back.  Henry stands on his feet upset about it, but Sheamus nails him with a Brogue Kick.

Backstage, Maddox and Vickie talk to Kane and D-Bryan.  Ryback has left them partnerless against Shield.  Kane says they are ready to battle Shield no matter what.  Vickie tells them they can still have the match.  She whispers something to Brad before commercial.

After commercial, they talked up Rock's tweets about surgery and how well "Pain & Gain" movie has done.

John Cena is backstage getting ready to go out.  Maddox walks in and Cena says he's not letting Hell No face Shield without a partner.  Maddox says Cena's hurt though.  Cena says he's not hurt bad, but Maddox will be.  Cena tells him he's going to fight tonight and Maddox walks off.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Antonio Cesaro via submission.  Late in the match, the two superstars went back and forth.  Del Rio went off the top rope but Cesaro connected on a mid-air uppercut.  Del Rio kicked out of the pinfall attempt at 2, then Cesaro ran into a ring post moments later.  Del Rio superkicked him in the face for a near fall.  The two fought back and forth some more, with Cesaro going for the big win.  Del Rio countered him and put on the cross armbreaker to force Cesaro to tap out.  Post-match, Del Rio and Ricardo got into the ring, with Del Rio getting on the mic to tell everyone the stipulation choice for Extreme Rules.  It will be a Triple Threat ladder match for the World Heavyweight title.

The Great Khali & Natalya won a dance-off against Fandango and Summer Rae.  Lawler asked both guys about how Jericho did on Dancing With the Stars, with Khali saying he's better and Fandango calling Jericho "clumsy."  They both have their dancers with them (Summer Rae for Fandango, Natalya for Khali).  After a dance-off, the crowd barely cheers louder for Khali so he wins.  Fandango attacked him from behind to take out Khali's knee.  He goes to the top and hits a big leg drop on the back of Khali's head.

The Shield defeated John Cena and Team Hell No via pinfall.  During the match, the story was John Cena's injured leg.  At one point, his leg buckled forcing him to make a tag out.  Later in the match, the faces gained control, with Kane fighting Rollins and Ambrose outside the ring.  Ambrose managed to come back and hit a DDT on Kane on the floor.  They went back in the ring with Kane hitting a chokeslam.  Cena and Reigns get into it in the ring, with Cena hitting a Five Knuckle Shuffle.  Later Rollins hits a crossbody on Cena, with Cena rolling through it.  He attempts the Attitude Adjustment but his leg goes out.  Reigns speared Cena down for the win.

Post-match, Ryback showed up on stage as Cena was looking hurt in the ring.  The Shield left through the crowd, with a trainer checking out Cena's injury as Raw went off the air.

SmackDown Results 04/26/13

SmackDown Results from London, England:

The show opened with a preview video detailing how Undertaker will compete in his first SmackDown match in nearly two years, after what happened on RAW.  Also, Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger will settle their score in a No DQ match.

Jack Swagger defeated Alberto Del Rio via pinfall in a No DQ match.  Late in this one, Del Rio stopped Zeb Colter from using a Kendo stick, but the distraction allowed Swagger to receover and hit Del Rio with a ladder in the head.  Swagger tried a Swagger Bomb but Del Rio got his knees up to block.  Moments later, Swagger broke out of the cross armbreaker, and hit ADR multiple times with a Kendo Stick.  He uses a ladder to hit Del Rio, then hits a Gutwrench Powerbomb for the pinfall win.

The Shield cut a backstage video promo in which they talked about unfinished business with Undertaker and said they'll take the tag titles from Hell No.  They said later tonight Ambrose will resolve the Undertaker issue.

Layla defeated Aksana via pinfall.  Aksana had control of things in the ring towards the end, but Layla surprised her with a small package rollup pinfall for the win.

Fandango defeated Justin Gabriel via pinfall.  Late in this one, Fandango got hit by a spinning heel kick from Gabriel.  Fandango was able to regain control, and ultimately hit his swinging reverse STO for the win.  Post-match, Fandango corrected Lilian on how his name is pronounced before heading off.

The Big Show defeated Sheamus via pinfall.  In the late part of this match, Show rolled out of the ring, with Sheamus going after him.  Show hit him with some strikes, and then got back into the ring.  Sheamus got on the apron, and brought Show against the top rope, then got to the top rope.  However, as he was preparing for his move, Mark Henry came out of nowhere and tipped the steel steps.  Sheamus was distracted and Show hit him with a KO punch for the win.

Wade Barrett defeated William Regal via pinfall in a non-title match.  Regal had momentum towards the end and went for his Knee Trembler.  Barrett evaded the move, then hit his Bull Hammer elbow for the pinfall win.

Mark Henry defeated Randy Orton due to disqualification.  Late in the match, Orton prepared for his RKO, pounding away on the canvas.  Henry got on his feet, and Orton got ready to strike, only for Sheamus to get in the ring and hit a Brogue Kick on Henry, causing the ref to call for the bell. Post-match, Orton appeared irritated by Sheamus' interruption, confronting him over it.  Sheamus pointed to his opponent and Orton quickly hit the RKO on Henry.

The Undertaker defeated Dean Ambrose via submission.  Undertaker rallied late in this contest, hitting a clothesline from the corner, then Snake Eyes, a huge boot kick and his "Old School" move from the ropes.  The Shield distracted Taker, and Ambrose gained the upperhand.  Ambrose had a pinfall with Undertaker surprisingly kicking out.  Soon after, Ambrose didn't focus enough on his opponent and fell victim to Hell's Gate, tapping out before ten seconds.

Post-match, Rollins and Reigns quickly get involved, beating up on the Undertaker on the mat.  Undertaker fights back and the fight goes to the outside.  Taker managed to fight them off and was about to use a chokeslam on Rollins.  However, Reigns hits a huge spear to send Taker through the crowd barricade.  Ambrose grabs a chair and hits Taker a few times.  The grand finale has Shield hit a Triple Powerbomb on Taker through the announce table.  Smackdown ends with them standing tall over Taker.
