CM Punk Comic-Con, Sin Cara & Daniel Bryan MITB News

A CM Punk incident occurred at the 2011 Comic-Con in San Diego on Thursday. While it was staged to look like a real "situation" it was in fact part of the ongoing story with Punk holding the WWE Championship hostage and going to other venues. The latest venue was a Mattel WWE Q&A panel featuring Triple H, Rey Mysterio and Bret "The Hitman" Hart. Days later, the story has surfaced on WWE.com, after it was reported on numerous other sites first, most likely in a new viral attempt by WWE to gain exposure. Also news was revealed after the MITB Pay-Per-View that Sin Cara has been suspended for 30 days for violating WWE's Wellness Policy. It explains the reason Sin Cara got smashed through a ladder by Sheamus, and then taken away on a stretcher after. This is definitely a shame as Sin Cara was billed as one of their next big talents, but has stumbled a bit in the ring and now with this. More on the story here: Sin Cara WWE Steroid Shocker

In other interesting news, Daniel Bryan pulled a "Mr. Kennedy" on Smackdown this past Friday when he announced exactly when he'll cash in the MITB briefcase. Bryan said he plans to cash it in at Wrestlemania 28 in the main event to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. If that's true, it'll be interesting to see who the champion is, or if a championship match is already in place. Quite possibly, Bryan cashes in to participate and make it a Triple Threat, setting up plenty of possibilities. Of course this still doesn't rule out someone else defeating Bryan for the briefcase, which is exactly what happened to Mr. Kennedy after he announced similar plans years ago.
