WWE Ice Cream Bars For Sale Again?

On Monday's episode of WWE Raw, one of the many perks CM Punk had added to his new WWE contract was to bring back WWE Ice Cream bars. Of course, Punk tore his contract to shreds but it was definitely something the WWE Universe latched onto. The crowd certainly was in support of Punk's request and it even became a trending topic on Twitter!

The WWF/WWE Ice Cream bars became popular with WWF back in the 80's and continued to be made in the 90's and even early 2000's. They were manufactured by Good Humor, but discontinued in late 2009 due to financial reasons.

The bars were a vanilla frozen dessert with milk chocolate coated flavoring and a vanilla cookie with wrestler image imprinted on it. Some of the WWE Ice Cream bars that have turned up in online images included a famous "Hulkster" ice cream bar shown in an ad by Jimmy "The Mouth-of-the-South" Hart.

Back then they were known as "WWF Superstars of Wrestling" bars. Included in the lineup were Koko B Ware, George "Animal" Steele, Bobby Heenan, Andre the Giant, Honky Tonk Man, Million Dollar Man, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Strikeforce, Hillbilly Jim, Miss Elizabeth and Randy "Macho Man" Savage.

It will be quite interesting to see if the Chairman of the WWE, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, in fact heeds the demands of the WWE Universe. Will he bring back WWE Ice Cream bars to WWE events and the frozen foods sections of local grocery stores? Stay tuned, because even if Punk leaves with the WWE Championship, he may have brought the fans what they wanted.
