Raw Preview 07/04/11
It's going to be a special 4th of July episode of Monday Night Raw tonight, and there just may be fireworks! Not just the pyrotechnics at the start of the weekly episodic program, but between superstars on the show. Mr. McMahon is expected to appear on the show to address CM Punk's Raw rant last week during which he addressed McMahon's company in a less-than-flattering manner. What will the Chairman of the company have to say regarding CM Punk and his suspension? Will Punk appear on Raw?
Punk played a major part in last week's main event match before his rant too. John Cena was about to defeat R-Truth in a tables match, but Punk shoved a table over in the ring to prevent Cena from getting a victory. Instead, Punk's interference helped R-Truth eventually tackle Cena through a table in the corner of the ring to win the match. That win seems to put R-Truth at the forefront of contenders in the upcoming Raw MITB match. What will be in store next for Truth and Cena?
The heated feud continues between Mark Henry and Big Show as well. Last week saw the two compete inside a steel cage, with Mark Henry the difference maker. Henry continues to make his presence known during Big Show's matches, and on Friday's Smackdown, Show got his payback on Henry, causing him to lose a #1 contender's match against Randy Orton. Will Mark Henry cause more trouble for Big Show on tonight's Raw?
