WWE Superstars Results 07/07/11:

Superstars opened with Zack Ryder's music hitting and Ryder making his entrance to the ring. Scott Stanford and Josh Matthews were on hand for the first match's commentary.

Zack Ryder vs. Drew McIntyre

During the first half of the match, McIntyre gained control and did a move with Ryder by jumping off the apron and smashing the back of Ryder's head on the apron. McIntyre continued to work on Ryder with a hold in the ring. Ryder staged a comeback, but Drew landed a dropkick to put Ryder down.

Zack finally gained momentum as he flew around the ring and jumped on McIntyre in the corner. He hit the Broski boot on a seated Drew in the corner, then had a near fall. Zack waited for Drew to get up and measured for the Rough Ryder. Zack went for it but Drew grabbed him and hit a huge spinebuster. However, Zack kicked out before 3.

Late in the contest, Drew had the Future Shock DDT set up on Ryder. Ryder was able to counter and turn it into a pinfall, holding the legs to secure it. Ryder escaped the ring before Drew could get his hands on him. Ryder posed on the ramp and said "you know it!"

Winner: Zack Ryder wins via pinfall over Drew McIntyre.

Superstars returned with Jack Korpela talking about "The Tweet Life" game on WWE.com where fans can match superstars with their tweets. Striker brought up the contract signing on Smackdown this past Friday and they showed the video.

Christian had his lawyer with him for the contract signing saying if there was any bad officiating during the match, he gets an automatic rematch. Christian said he knows he can beat him even though nobody else thinks so. Christian told Orton that Teddy Long and the crooked refs can't save "the golden boy" anymore. Christian said Randy can't beat him, and at MITB he'll prove it.

Orton thought things over for a moment, then said there was a time when this all started that he enjoyed facing him and respected him in the ring. Orton said Christian will never beat him, then signed the contract. Christian handed it to his lawyer to read it over and he started saying things in Christian's ear. Christian took the contract to sign. However, before he could, Sheamus hit the ring and took out Randy Orton. Christian went over and confronted Sheamus asking what he was doing, but Sheamus turned against him. He hit the Brogue kick on Christian. Orton prepared for the RKO, but Sheamus shoved him to the ropes, then hit a Brogue kick on him. With both men down, Sheamus tore the contract to shreds and left the ring.

Korpela talked about the Christian versus Orton match for Money in the Bank which appears to be official, despite the lack of a signed contract on Smackdown.

Striker and Korpela talked about the upcoming Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View and the ramifications of pulling the briefcase down. Striker brought up how Alicia is a gifted athlete based on how she moves her hips, and he said Natalya is built solid like a Lego.

Natalya vs. Alicia Fox

Early on Fox got Natalya down on the mat in a headlock. Natalya fought to her feet and managed to turn the tables when she used her feet to toss Alicia up in the air. Moments later, Natalya revealed she had pulled out a part of Alicia's red weave. Alicia managed to gain control following break and taunted Natalya by messing with her hair.

With Natalya down on the mat, Alicia looked down at her and then slapped her in the face. Later still, Alicia bit Natalya's nail off then kicked her in the stomach, before working over Natalya's arm on the ropes. Alicia was able to put Natalya down in a headscissors, then slapped her in the stomach repeatedly.

Natalya managed to stand up with Alicia hanging on her back upside down. Natalya rammed her backwards into the corner and left her hanging, then dropkicked her. Natalya went on fire with a huge clothesline and several other power moves to take her down.

In the closing moments, Natalya nearly had the Sharpshooter on Alicia. Alicia escaped it though and moments later was able to grab a surprise roll-up pinfall for the win. Alicia grabbed the piece of her red weave hair and brought it with her up the ramp. Alicia mockingly put it back in place as she stared down the ramp at Natalya.

Winner: Alicia Fox wins via pinfall over Natalya.

Don Gonzales vs. Wade Barrett

They advertised that Barrett's "End of Days" theme song is currently available on iTunes. Korpela called Don Gonzales a young upstart looking to make a name for himself. He was an amateur wrestler from the Tucson, AZ area.

Striker brought up how Barrett is one of the 8 MITB competitors for Smackdown's ladder match. Barrett started off by jokingly asking who this guy was he's facing. He got in Gonzales' face, had words, but Gonzales slapped him. Barrett took him down with a vicious clothesline, then went to work.

Barrett continued to beat on Gonzales on the ropes, then ran at him with a huge boot to put Gonzales down on the apron. Gonzales tried to muster up some momentum, but Barrett caught him in a spinning side slam. He followed it with Wasteland to finish off Gonzales.

Winner: Wade Barrett wins via pinfall over Don Gonzales.

WWE Superstars episode finished up with a video replay of the conversation involving Vince McMahon and John Cena on Raw. Vince showed up to discuss why he suspended CM Punk for his remarks on Raw a week earlier. Cena came out to say he still wants Punk in the title match at MITB. Cena ended up handing the WWE Championship belt over to Vince saying he wants no part of the company if it's all about what Vince wants instead of what the fans want. Vince angrily stormed up the ramp with the belt, handed it back to Cena and said Punk is reinstated for the match at MITB. He also told Cena if he loses to Punk, he's fired.
