WWE NXT Results 09/21/11

WWE NXT Results from Toledo, OH:

The show opened with "Showtime" Percy Watson doing his own in-ring show called "Showtime." His first guest was Titus O'Neil who talked about how he needs to win NXT first and then he and Showtime will go for the tag titles. Darren Young and JTG came out to interrupt and talk trash. A brawl ensued in the ring with Titus/Percy clearing out Young and JTG. Commentator Jack Korpela said these two teams will fight in a tag match later.

AJ vs. Maxine

No sign of Hornswoggle and no explanation of his whereabouts given. AJ pulled out the win in just over 5 minutes after connecting on a Shining Wizard to finish Maxine.

Winner: AJ wins by pinfall over Maxine.

They showed the Raw Rebound which spotlighted last night's show with guest Hugh Jackman. They showed highlights of Jackman with Zack Ryder, including Hugh punching Dolph Ziggler to help Ryder defeat the US champ in a non-title bout.

Maxine was backstage and saw Hornswoggle in the hallway. He had a love note for AJ, but Maxine tried to tell him she thinks Titus O'Neil is messing around with AJ behind his back. Hornswoggle walked off looking confused. Derrick Bateman and Tyson Kidd came walking down the hall. Maxine stopped Derrick in his tracks to ask where he was during her match. She told him to focus on their goal of breaking up AJ and Hornswoggle.

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Derrick Bateman

Tyson Kidd was with Bateman for the match. Yoshi arrived out with a new darker look including a mask and face paint. In the match, Yoshi had the upperhand after a running roundhouse kick, but Bateman kicked out of the pinfall. Moments later, Yoshi got on the top rope and hit a crossbody splash on Bateman, but again only a two count. He went for a huge kick and then a pinfall, but this time Kidd got in the ring to break it up. Kidd attacked Yoshi post-match.

Winner: Yoshi Tatsu wins due to disqualification of Derrick Bateman when Tyson Kidd interfered.

They showed AJ walking backstage looking for Hornswoggle. She asked Trent Barreta who said he didn't know. Titus O'Neil walked up and said they need to avoid Maxine's mind games and win one for Hornswoggle tonight. Titus left to get ready, but just as Hornswoggle came walking up to see AJ with Titus. AJ tried to explain what was going on with Horney as they went to commercial break.

Percy Watson & Titus O'Neil vs. JTG & Darren Young

The main event tag match saw Titus and Percy controlling it for a good portion. Later in the match, JTG began to take control of Showtime and wear him down. Percy finally managed to break away from JTG to get the hot tag to Titus. Titus cleared the ring and everyone got involved. Showtime took out JTG on the outside. In the ring, Darren Young clipped Titus' leg, and then hit his Gutbuster move across the knee. From there, Young scored the winning pinfall.

Post-match, Young and JTG celebrated in ring. For the second week in a row, The Usos rushed to the ring and attacked. They knocked Young and JTG out of the ring after Superfly Splashes on both, then celebrated. Regal said these guys are future tag champs.

Winners: JTG & Darren Young win via pinfall over Percy Watson & Titus O'Neil.
