Raw Preview 09/12/11

There's less than a week to go until the 2011 Night of Champions PPV. With that in mind, John Cena and Alberto Del Rio are preparing for an epic clash at the PPV with the WWE Championship on the line. For weeks, Cena has accused Del Rio of ducking him after attacking him several weeks ago. Last Monday, Del Rio tried another attack after Cena won an 8-man tag elimination match. This time, Cena avoided Del Rio and hit the AA on him to send him out of the ring. Will Del Rio respond on tonight's show?

Also during the 8-man elimination match, it was clear that Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger are still having their issues. The two wrestlers were blind-tagging each other during the match to show each other up. This ended up costing them towards the end of the match. Vickie Guerrero has been eyeing Swagger for a few weeks now. After his impressive performance in the match last week, is Vickie closer to signing the All-American American?

The big story heading into the Pay-Per-View will be the epic clash between Triple H and CM Punk. Last week, the COO of WWE punched down and fired his good friend Kevin Nash, after he learned it was Nash who texted himself a message to attack Punk at Summerslam. Meanwhile, Triple H informed Punk they'll be fighting in a No disqualification match at the PPV. Punk extended a stipulation of his own; that if Triple H should lose the match he must resign as COO. Will either man try to get the upperhand on tonight's Raw?
