Raw Results 11/5/12

Raw Results from Birmingham, England:

After a video was shown to look back at last week's Raw with the Team Punk vs. Team Foley setup, footage was shown from earlier today.  The Miz talked to Paul Heyman about Punk abandoning the team last week to run away from Ryback.  Heyman says they all need to get on the same page, and says Punk made a strategic retreat.  Miz says he and Punk are full of crap.  He quits Team Punk before the Raw opening video is shown.

Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara & R-Truth win via pinfall over Antonio Cesaro & Prime Time Players.  In the final moments, Truth battled Cesaro, before taking Young out on the apron.  Titus O'Neil also get dumped out of the ring.  Truth had a pinfall on Cesaro broken up by Young.  Sin Cara came in to send Young outside the ring. Cara sends Cesaro down into the ropes so Rey can hit a 619, then Truth gets the finisher and win on Cesaro.

Vickie Guerrero came to the ring to present her new evidence about AJ Lee and John Cena having an affair.  She tells the crowd it didn't end with Cena getting into an elevator with AJ.  Just then, Cena's music hit and he came out to the ring.  They argue as Cena brings up Vickie abusing her power before.  She has footage shown of AJ wearing a robe walking down a hotel hall.  She knocks on another hotel room door, and someone lets her inside, but it never shows who.  Another bit of footage shows Cena opening a hotel room door wearing just a towel and putting the "Do Not Disturb" sign on its knob.  Cena argues that those are two different cameras and are unrelated to each other.

Vickie calls out AJ, but she doesn't come to the ring.  Instead she shows up on the big screen saying if she came down there to explain herself, it wouldn't end up good.  She says she'd give Vickie the beating of her life and then she'd be fired from what she loves to do here in WWE.  Ziggler appears on the big screen next to AJ and puts his arm around her saying "we all know what  you love to do."  Vickie laughs about it and Cena rushes backstage.

Paul Heyman meets with Wade Barrett backstage about replacing The Miz on Team Punk.  Barrett says he refused him before and is doing so again, because he doesn't trust him.  Barrett starts to leave, then turns back saying he'll do it under one condition, that Heyman owes him.

Cody Rhodes defeated Daniel Bryan via pinfall.  Kane and Sandow were ringside.  Rhodes got dumped to the floor late by Bryan, with Kane staring him down.  Sandow attacked Kane from behind to take him out.  Bryan dove through the rope to take down Sandow.  Cody used the distraction to hit a Disaster Kick on the outside of the ring, then brought Bryan back inside for the pinfall win.  Post-match, Cody gets on the mic saying he knows Sandow can defeat Kane as easily as he defeated Bryan.  Kane yanks Sandow into the ring for a match before commercial hits.

Kane defeated Damien Sandow via pinfall.  During this one, the ref threw both Bryan and Rhodes out, sending them backstage.  Late in the match, Kane punched Sandow, then clotheslined him in the corner.  He hits another clothesline and a huge sideslam, then goes to the top to hit a big right hand.  Kane finished Sandow with the chokeslam.

Michael Cole interviewed suspended referee Brad Maddox about the incident involving the Ryback vs. Punk match at HIAC.  Mattox says he wasn't working with Heyman or Punk, and that was all his plan to make an impact.  He said he's tried to get into the WWE years for years but had the door shut in his face.  Maddox says he had a chance with a developmental contract, but wasn't good enough because of his size, because he's not a freak of nature.  Maddox says he's famous now and people know his name because of what he did.  He demands a match with Ryback and a WWE contract.

Vince McMahon's music hit and he comes out on stage.  Vince says he thinks Maddox is lying and was working with Punk and Heyman.  He tells him he can have a million dollar contract if he can defeat Ryback next week.  He tells Maddox to get out of his ring.  Vince then brings Vickie out and suggests that the WWE champion should be defending his title at Survivor Series.  He suggests Ryback should be one of the opponents, and John Cena.  Vickie goes ahead and makes the match official.

Sheamus defeated The Miz via pinfall.  Late in this one, Sheamus powerslammed Miz for a near fall.  He hits the battering ram for another near fall.  Miz tries to fight back with some offense, getting a pin attempt of his own.  Sheamus countered one of Miz's shots with a roll up pinfall.  Miz gets out, then moments later, ducks the Brogue kick and goes for his finisher.  Sheamus fights out of the Skullcrushing Finale, then hits White Noise.  He follows with a Brogue Kick for the win.

Dolph Ziggler was shown backstage outside of Mr. McMahon's office.  Vickie opens the door and comes out, then tells Dolph he is now the new team leader for Team Punk at Survivor Series.  Punk comes out after her, saying Vince is trying to screw him over.  Punk complains about the Triple Threat, saying Vince is an ego-maniac.  Vickie tells Punk that he's in the main event tonight, teaming up with Dolph to face Cena and Ryback.

Layla & Kaitlyn defeated Eve & Aksana by pinfall.  Late in this one, Layla tagged in and fought Eve.  Aksana comes into the ring to interfere but Layla fights her off.  Eve hits a neckbreaker on Layla, but then Kaitlyn hits an inverted DDT on Eve to get the pinfall win.

Ricardo Rodriguez was shown backstage with Alberto Del Rio, talking about Survivor Series and Team Punk.  Del Rio bumped into Rosa Mendes, then walked off to the ring for his match next.

Kofi Kingston defeated Alberto Del Rio via pinfall in a non-title match.  Late in this one, Del Rio went for his armbreaker, but Kofi countered with the SOS for a near fall.  Del Rio tries to finish Kofi, but Orton's music hits and distracts him.  Kofi uses the distraction to roll Del Rio up for the win.  Post-match, Orton rushes out from the crowd into the ring and hits an RKO on Del Rio.

Zack Ryder & Sandtino Marella defeated Primo & Epico via pinfall.  Rosa Mendes was in her team's corner, taunting the faces throughout this one.  Late in the contest, Santino tags in Ryder after his comedy routine in the ring.  Ryder unloaded on Primo then had a nearfall.  The close saw Santino win the match with The Cobra punch to the crowd's delight.

Wade Barrett defeated Brodus Clay via pinfall.  Clay hit a headbutt on Barrett's midsection then an Irish Whip the corner, followed by a big corner splash.  Clay did another Irish whip, but Barrett moved out of the way of his splash.  Barrett kicked Clay with a back heel kick, then hit the Souvenir elbow to win.

Heath Slater defeated Jey Uso via pinfall.  Late in this one, Jey hit an uppercut and a big kick on Slater.  He went to the top rope but on the Superfly Splash, Slater got his boots up to counter.  Slater hit his finisher, the Smash Hit for the win.

John Cena & Ryback defeated CM Punk & Dolph Ziggler via pinfall.  Late in this one, Cena tagged in Ryback and Ziggler tagged in Punk.  Ryback went on a rampage, cleaning house, hitting Ziggler, then slammed Punk and threw Ziggler into the corner.  Ryback pressed Ziggler on top of Punk.   He then clotheslined Ziggler to the outside and clotheslined Punk down before hitting Shell Shocked on Punk for the win.

Post-match, Ryback gets a feed me more chant going.  Cena gets back in the ring and the two have a stare down in the middle of the ring as the crowd keeps chanting with Raw leaving the air.
