Raw Results 10/06/14

Raw Results from Brooklyn, NY:

Seth Rollins came charging down to the ring after footage was shown at the star of Raw of Dean Ambrose handing over the briefcase and it spraying him with slime. He yelled at the fans asking if they thought it was funny, then had footage shown of him hitting Ambrose and Cena each with Curb Stomps at the end of Raw. He said “that’s what happens if you disrespect me!” Out came two of the personnel that work for WWE, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury to try to get Rollins to calm down. He told them he loves being a marked man.

Just then, John Cena rushed out to attack Rollins in the ring. He quickly fled into the crowd, where Ambrose was waiting behind him. Ambrose attacked, so Rollins jumped back over the guardrail, where Cena was. Noble and Mercury intervened, allowing Rollins to get into the ring. Cena and Ambrose positioned themselves outside the ring steps area staring at their “prey.” The Authority arrived out onto the stage with Triple H and Stephanie. They said it’s clear Cena and Ambrose both want their hands on Rollins. Hunter said tonight he’s making a 3-on-2 handicap match with Cena and Ambrose versus Rollins, Kane and Orton.

Michael Cole had the video package from Smackdown shown of Big Show apologizing for what he did to the Russian flag. The commentators said Show was inactive for tonight’s show and he is being forced to attend sensitive training. Cole said Show will be in the building and will have to listen when Lana and Rusev come out later to speak.

Dolph Ziggler and The Uso Brothers defeated Cesaro, Goldust, and Stardust via pinfall. Stardust hit his finisher on Ziggler, but Dolph kicked out before 3. Later still, one of The Usos hit a super kick on Stardust. Jimmy hit the Superfly Splash off the top rope on him to get the winning pin.

They had an in-ring segment with NBC’s Today Show hosts Kathie Lee and Hoda being introduced by Justin Roberts. Adam Rose was also introduced and came out with the two women and the Rosebuds. In the ring they had a table and chairs with wine bottles and glasses on the table. Kathie Lee tried to promote her wine. Hoda did a strange dance in the ring. The segment ended with Adam Rose having them each fall back onto the Rosebuds like he does.

Bo Dallas defeated Mark Henry via count out. Henry dominated the match mostly and started to beat up Dallas on the outside. He was about to slam Dallas onto the announcers table, but Bo got away and ran back into the ring to beat the ref’s 10 count.

Dean Ambrose delivered a promo in ring about not liking Cena being in his business or up in his face. Footage was shown from last week’s Smackdown main event. Cena came out to interrupt saying it didn’t work out so well for Ambrose when he tried to take on The Authority on his own. Ambrose eventually said he was going to take the subway to Coney Island, basically leaving Cena by himself in a 3-on-1 handicap match.

After commercial, they showed video of Ambrose getting onto the subway. Triple H was backstage and mocked Cena saying “The Champ is Here.” Cena said he knows HHH is trying to protect Rollins. HHH said he’d have Rollins start the match against Cena. HHH told Cena to keep calm and never give up.

Brie Bella defeated Summer Rae via pinfall. Brie had one arm tied behind her back for the match. Nikki watched from up on stage. At one point, Brie managed to run Summer into Layla’s head. She hit the running knee and scored the pinfall, then did a “Yes!” chant for the crowd.

Miz and Damien Mizdow tried to ease things over with Kane backstage after angering The Authority recently. They had a fruit basket for them. Kane said they see through his phony attempts and booked him to face Sheamus later.

Jack Swagger defeated Tyson Kidd via submission. Natalya was ringside for Kidd. Late in the match, Swagger caught Kidd off the ropes. On the way down, Swagger put on the Ankle Lock to force Kidd to tap out.

Michael Cole had a “live via satellite” interview with Roman Reigns. He said he wished he was in Brooklyn right now instead of where he is. He promised he would try to have his vest strapped back on and get back in the ring, sooner rather than later.

El Torito defeated Hornswoggle as Mini Gator via pinfall. Los Matadores and Heath Slater/Titus O’Neil were ringside for the contest.

Rusev and Lana arrived out for an in-ring promo about Russia. Lana talked up it being Vladimir Putin’s birthday so it was a big day. Lana mentioned Big Show’s suspension for desecrating the Russian flag. Lana suggested Show should be in jail and the fans supporting him should be accused of a hate crime. Rusev then taunted Show to come to the ring so he could crush him. He said Show is a coward, just like the fans.

Suddenly, The Rock’s theme music hit and out to the ring came The Rock. He said that he’s been hanging and banging in the gym just like Rusev, except he doesn’t pull his shorts up to his nipples. Rock also said Lana dresses like a Soviet street walker. He said the fans don’t boo them because they support Russia, it’s because they’re a couple of world class international a-holes. Eventually, Lana and Rusev got enraged enough from Rock’s insults. Rock threw several punches and cleared Rusev out of the ring. That brought chants for The Rock as Rusev threw a fit at ringside.

Paige and Alicia Fox defeated A.J. Lee & Emma via pinfall. The commentators talked about how AJ tweeted before she has no friends to team up with her in a tag match. During the match, Emma got a near fall on Alicia Fox and then started to do her trademark dancing. She kept doing it, so AJ got upset and grabbed her title belt and left. Paige was able to drop Emma with a big kick and then hit the Rampaige for the win as AJ watched from the stage.

The Miz defeated Sheamus via pinfall in a non-title match. Sheamus was ready for a Brogue Kick late in the match, but Mizdow pulled Miz out of harm’s way. Mizdow ended up taking a Brogue Kick instead, but Miz used that distraction to roll up Sheamus for the win.

They had a segment with Joan Lunden talking about the Susan G. Komen foundation and how much it has helped many women in their fight against breast cancer. She read off the names of women who were survivors that stood up in the crowd. Eventually, John Cena arrived out and gave her a hug then headed backstage with her before his main event match.

John Cena defeated Seth Rollins, Kane and Randy Orton due to disqualification. Late in the match, Cena was beaten down so Rollins tagged in to take advantage. Cena woke up and hit his big moves and was ready for a pinfall win. Kane came in to keep attacking Cena so the ref called for the bell. As the heels kept beating up Cena, Ambrose’s music hit and he came to the stage pushing a hot dog cart. He was wearing a holster with ketchup and mustard bottles which he started to squirt at Kane and Orton as they came at him. Cena made his recovery and hit an AA on Orton. Ambrose hit a suicide dive out onto Kane. Eventually the heels took off, with Cena and Ambrose alone in the ring.

The Authority came out, with Triple H announcing that John Cena will face Dean Ambrose in a match. The winner gets Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell. He said either way one of them will go straight to hell. The show closed when Ambrose spun Cena around and dropped him with a big DDT.
