WWE News & Notes
These are some recent injury mentions as well as WWE News or Rumours:
- Everyone wants to know where Triple H is. His original timetable put him back into the WWE about June. According to Pro Wrestling Insider, HHH will be back in July, and looks to play a role in the Summerslam Pay Per View.
- Undertaker is expected to be out a good 8 months or so. Guess he will be back in time to go 16-0 at Wrestlemania 24?
- Gregory Helms who has suffered 2 broken vertebrae in his neck will be out of WWE action for up to a year.
- Bob "Hardcore" Holly expected to be back to ECW action in late August after surgery to repair nerve damage in his elbow.
- Shelly Martinez, also known as ECW's Ariel, thanked fans for her recent release from the WWE and says she is "on to bigger things". Check out her Myspace here.
Commentary:
All in all, its been a recently surprising time in the WWE, with Edge taking Mr. Kennedy's title shot away and then cashing it in soon after to become the champ of Smackdown. In addition, as many have noted, John Cena has been given recent "Hulk Hogan status" in that he's defeating 7 foot plus giants to make him the superstar the WWE desperately needs. The WWE definitely needs that major star power, because with injuries to Taker, Kennedy and Shawn Michaels, it seems they are in search of talent to quickly replace what was temporarily lost.
