Barbie Blank was originally a bikini model for Hawaiian Tropic and Venus Swimwear, when a talent scout from WWE discovered her, then offered her a WWE contract. She was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling for wrestling training. After working her way through the program, she debuted in June of 2006 on the ECW program.

On ECW, Kelly originally would do striptease routines on her own for her show "Kelly's Expose". Her boyfriend in ECW at the time was Mike Knox. Knox became enraged at her behavior and at her favoritism for star CM Punk. It eventually set up feuds with CM Punk, Kevin Thorn and Ariel. Kelly picked up her first win in singles competition against Ariel. After leaving boyfriend Mike Knox, Kelly eventually began doing in-ring dance routines with WWE divas Layla El and Brooke Adams. This formed the dance team known as Extreme Expose. They eventually became the girls who accompanied The Miz to the ring and also did a photo shoot for the magazine FHM. Kelly has been in more wrestling matches as of late 2007, and has been part of a story involving her dating ECW star, Balls Mahoney. She also appeared with several other divas in a music video for "Throw it On Me" by Timbaland featuring the Hives. Kelly's current entrance theme song is "Holla" by Desiree Jackson.
