Raw Preview 05.19.08
Tonight's Raw comes just 1 day after the 2008 Judgment Day Pay-Per-View. Last night saw several Raw superstars in action including the WWE champion Triple H, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels and the Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho. The event also included the man claiming to be WWE's most powerful force, King and General Manager of Raw, William Regal.
Last night's Judgment Day Pay-Per-View saw Triple H emerge victorious from his Steel Cage WWE title defense against Randy Orton. Orton gave it his all, with both men using a steel chair in the contest. But The Game's sheer determination was enough to will him to a win, as he hit the signature Pedigree on Orton. Will Orton continue to challenge Triple H on Raw, or will someone new step into the title picture?
Also victorious at Judgment Day was the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. HBK and Chris Jericho had what many are calling the best match of Judgment Day. Will Michaels now look to challenge Y2J for his Intercontinental belt? Or will Shawn Michaels need to worry more about watching his back for the Animal, Batista?
Amongst the other winners at the Pay-Per-View were John Cena and Women's Champ Mickie James. What will be in store for these two superstars on Monday Night Raw? Will JBL continue to challenge Cena? Will Mickie James have a new #1 contender for her belt or will The Glamazon continue to challenge?
And don't forget about the man claiming to be the most powerful entity in all of the WWE. Recent King of the Ring winner and Raw General Manager William Regal is sure to have more in store for the fans and wrestlers of Raw!
