Smackdown Preview 05.16.08
Tonight's Smackdown comes just 2 days before this Sunday's explosive Judgment Day Pay-Per-View. Tensions are running high as the Undertaker prepares for yet another battle against the Rated-R Superstar, Edge. Undertaker was stripped of his World Heavyweight title just a few weeks ago by Smackdown GM, Vickie Guerrero. Vickie banned Taker's Triangle Choke submission as well, claiming it has seriously injured too many wrestlers. Last week saw Edge win a Championship Chase Battle Royal, by ramming an already worn down Batista off the apron. The Ultimate Opportunist now has the opportunity to reclaim the World Heavyweight title on Sunday. What will Edge and Undertaker have in store for tonight's show as they prepare to do battle?
Batista also saw himself taken out of the equation for the World Heavyweight title. After the Animal was able to seemingly defeat the rest of the competition in the Championship Chase, Edge ran down to spoil the party. The last minute entry Edge knocked Batista off the apron, also knocking him out of the title contender spot. How will Batista respond to Edge's actions last week? Will Vickie Guerrero have something in store for Batista as well?
Smackdown also has an undefeated superstar and undefeated diva on its roster. WWE Diva Natalya has been tearing her way through the rest of the WWE divas defeating the likes of Kelly Kelly and Cherry in recent weeks. Will Natalya continue her winning ways against the Smackdown divas, or will Michelle McCool soon challenge her?
Vladimir Kozlov is also smashing his way through the WWE competition. The Russian superstar comes to the ring each week with no theme music and is all business, as he pummels his opponents. Will there be a superstar on the WWE roster capable of defeating the brutal and monstrous Kozlov? Or will Kozlov put himself into a title contender's spot?

that funny,kozlov hasnt really had any major competition... who has he faced? matt bently who is a great wrestler in his own right but hes not really a match in the size department... make a deal about him when he beats someone his own size
