As ECW returned, highlights were shown from last week's match where Miz & Morrison defeated Hornswoggle and Finlay. Afterwards, Mike Knox attacked Finlay in the ring leaving him layed out.
Mike Knox appeared in the ring to address the ECW crowd. Knox had footage roll to expose Finlay whom he called a "fraud". The footage showed Finlay and Hornswoggle dancing in front of a huge mansion, with the word "Romance" printed on the screen. Knox began to say the days of Finlay being a tough wrestler are long gone because now he's dancing with a leprechaun. Knox continued the insults and insinuations, but just then Finlay and Hornswoggle appeared from backstage and walked down to the ring.
Finlay came in the ring and defended himself telling Knox he likes to have fun and loves his family. Finlay offered Knox the chance to take a shot at him. Finlay told Knox he can find out if he's gone soft or not. Knox looked angry, but backed off and exited the ring, then walked up the ramp.

Colin Delaney appeared with a steel chair, but Dreamer chased him off. Dreamer got back into the ring and went to finish off Estrada. Delaney appeared up on the apron to distract Dreamer. Just then, Teddy Long came rushing in and told Delaney that in exchange for what he just pulled he gets to face Tommy Dreamer next week in an Extreme Rules match.

The Dirt Sheet with Miz & Morrison
Miz & Morrison introduced their debut episode of Dirt Sheet on ECW, then introduced their special guests. On the Titantron, a picture of Mark Henry appeared with someone else's lips moving for his. They had the same for Tony Atlas on the Titantron, with both men talking in funny voices that nobody could understand. As Miz & Morrison continued to mock the two, all of a sudden Mark Henry and Tony Atlas appeared from backstage and rushed down to the ring. Henry got in the ring angry and went after Miz and Morrison.Tony Atlas confronted Miz & Morrison and said he knows this must be a misunderstanding because they were not invited onto the show to be disrespected. Miz and Morrison said they'd rather disrespect their next guest, Matt Hardy. Once again they used the moving lips joke with a pic of Matt Hardy on the Titantron. Hardy began to talk like Forrest Gump after Morrison asked a question. Then the real Hardy appeared from backstage and came to the ring.
Hardy said it's good to see Miz and Morrison are such big Conan O'Brien fans, as they used the same joke he does on his late night show. Hardy explained how he became #1 Contender for the ECW title, by winning a 4 man match which included Miz and Morrison. Hardy said following Summerslam he'll be the ECW champ. Miz and Morrison became upset at Hardy coming onto their show and disrespecting them. Miz went to attack Hardy, but Hardy punched first, knocking Miz down. As Matt went after Miz, Morrison tried to attack Matt.
Matt ducked Morrison's attempt and Morrison wound up punching Henry. Henry angrily handed his ECW belt to Tony Atlas then went after Morrison, knocking him down with 1 punch. Meanwhile, Matt Hardy disposed of The Miz from the ring. ECW ended with Matt Hardy and Mark Henry in the ring staring each other down.
