Smackdown results from Sacramento, CA:

WWE Smackdown Results for Aug. 6, 2015

The opening segment had Roman Reigns come out. He challenged Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper to tag match against him and Dean Ambrose at Summerslam. Rusev came out along with Summer Rae to interrupt and the two talked some trash. Reigns promised him a beatdown later tonight.

Mark Henry & Prime Time Players defeated The New Day via pinfall. Henry hit World’s Strongest Slam on Kofi Kingston for the win.

Naomi & Sasha Banks defeated Becky Lynch and Charlotte via pinfall.  This was originally a divas one on one match that became a tag match after some interference. In the end, Naomi grabbed Charlotte’s tights on a roll up pinfall for the win in a fourteen minute divas match.

Stardust defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall. Stardust hit the Queens Crossbow for the big win. Stardust continued his taunting of actor Stephen Arnell from the CW show "Arrow."

Roman Reigns defeated Rusev via pinfall. Late in the match, Reigns went for a rollup pinfall with Rusev kicking him with the super kick for a near fall of his own. Rusev was frustrated and went for another kick, missing it. Reigns came off the ropes and connected on a spear to take down Rusev for the pin. Post-match, Bray Wyatt appeared on the big screen clapping in a mock way about the win. Wyatt told Reigns to consider his challenge accepted and to bring his lunatic and he’ll bring his family. He told Reigns he should know by now that he welcomes this war.

Raw Results 06/01/15

Raw Results from San Antonio, TX:

The opening segment had The Authority including Triple H, Stephanie, Seth Rollins, J&J Security and Kane arrive out. HHH and Steph talked about Ambrose stealing the title last night and that he needs to get out there now to return it to its rightful owner. Rollins kept an angry look on his face throughout. Instead of Ambrose, Roman Reigns came out to tell them that Ambrose isn’t there and he’s not returning the title until he gets his rematch, at Money in the Bank, in a Ladder Match. Eventually, Rollins gave in and said he could have the rematch. Rollins was irritated by Reigns’ insults and ended up leaving the ring. Steph stepped up to Reigns, but then HHH got in his face to intervene. He told Reigns he’s in the MITB Ladder Match - for now, but if he loses a match tonight to an opponent HHH chooses backstage, he’s out of it.

After break, King Barrett made his way to the ring to face Reigns. Cole said if Barrett wins, he replaces Reigns in the MITB ladder match at the PPV.

Roman Reigns defeated King Barrett via pinfall to retain his MITB Ladder Match spot. The match lasted 14 minutes and saw Reigns duck a Bullhammer attempt by Barrett late. Reigns followed with a big Spear for the win.

Backstage, Reigns was walking down a hallway when Triple H and Stephanie stopped him, sarcastically clapping for his victory. They said he gets to keep his spot in the match, if he can beat his next opponent too, Mark Henry.

Nikki Bella was being interviewed by Byron Saxton when Paige interrupted saying she wants a one-on-one shot at the Divas Championship. Nikki said Paige is sounding a lot like Naomi, but if she wants a rematch she can have one, tonight.

The Miz vs. Ryback for the IC title was a no match. Big Show showed up after Lillian Garcia introduced the two competitors. Show stepped into the ring and walked past Miz looking at Ryback for a fight. Instead, he turned and gave a KO punch to drop Miz. He got on the mic saying if anyone is going to beat Ryback for the title, it’s hit. Show said he takes exception to Ryback being called “big guy” because he ain’t got nothing on the Big Show. Ryback stood face to face with Show and the crowd chanted “Feed Me More” before Show left the ring.

Kevin Owens came to the ring to cut a promo about backing up what he promises he’ll do, such as beating Sami Zayn, and then beating John Cena last night at Elimination Chamber. He started to say he’ll beat Cena again in two weeks, so the parents should tune in to see what he does to the marketing machine known as “Super Cena.” Owens also brought up how his wife was proud of his big win last night, but his son, who has always been a big Cena fan, wanted to know if Cena was OK.  

John Cena came out for rebuttal and said he was ready to hand the US Title to Owens tonight for beating him but realized he doesn’t deserve it. He said he doesn’t really deserve the NXT title either. He admitted Owens took him to his limits and beat him. Cena said all the hype - its the WWE Marketing machine, not him. He said his catchphrases are all authentic to him and not created in a boardroom. Cena pointed out a fan of his in the front row holding up a sign “I beat cancer.” Cena told Owens he represents all those people who take 10 years to fight and claw their way to victory. He told the kid who beat cancer to never give up and that’s what he stands for. Cena took off his shirt ready for a fight, and Owens seemed ready too, but instead left the ring and went up the ramp towards backstage without looking back at Cena.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston via pinfall. Ziggler was accompanied to the ring by Lana. Xavier Woods and Big E were ringside for the match. Ziggler went for a sidekick late in the match, but Kofi blocked it. Dolph followed with a DDT, and then a quick pinfall for the win. Post-match, Xavier and Big E got in to start the attack on Dolph. Prime Time Players rushed to the ring to make the save.

Dolph Ziggler & Prime Time Players defeated New Day via pinfall. Late in the match, Ziggler super kicked Kofi. Titus was able to scoop up Xavier Woods for a finisher followed by the pinfall for the win. Lana was shown on stage smiling about Ziggler’s latest win.

Roman Reigns defeated Mark Heny via contout. Late in the match, Reigns hit a Samoan Drop and both guys fell to the outside. The ref got a count up to 8, then nine and Reigns managed to barely get in before 10 with Henry still out. Post-match, Henry attacked Reigns and hit a World’s Strongest Slam on him followed by a big splash coming off the ropes.

Backstage, Reigns was shown limping. Triple H and Steph showed up again to sarcastically congratulate him, then said he keeps his MITB spot only if he can defeat Bray Wyatt next.

Nikki Bella defeated Paige via pinfall to retain the Divas Championship. During the late part of this ten minute match, Nikki fell to the outside and rolled towards the ring apron. Brie came out from under the ring and then rolled into the ring, disguising herself enough to complete a quick roll up pin on Paige for the win. As the ref talked to Paige post-match about the loss, the Bellas were smirking up on the ramp.

Randy Orton defeated Sheamus due to disqualification. The match spilled out to the floor late, with Orton throwing Sheamus over a guardrail into the timekeeper’s area. Orton went to retrieve him, but Sheamus was ready with a steel chair which he rammed into Orton’s gut, causing the ref to call for the bell. Post-match, Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick on Orton, then ran him into the guardrail. Refs eventually got involved to check on Orton. As he was getting to his feet, Sheamus delivered a second Brogue Kick to level him and then stood over him.

Byron Saxton interviewed Rusev backstage who was on crutches. He talked about losing it all, and being a broken man since he has no title, career or woman. He said he is the one crushed this time, but then vowed he will get all of it back, before walking off.

Neville defeated Bo Dallas via pinfall. Neville made a comeback at one point, knocking down Dallas and then climbing up on the top rope. He hit the Red Arrow for the big win.

Roman Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt via pinfall to keep his MITB Ladder Match spot. Rollins, J&J and Kane all came down during the match. At one point, they surrounded the ring apron and ringside area. Bray grabbed Reigns late for Sister Abigail, but Reigns shoved him off causing him to bump Kane on the apron. As Wyatt bounced off him, Reigns was quick to hit his Spear for the win. 

Post-match, The Authority surrounded the ring to try to get Reigns. Dean Ambrose’s music hit and Rollins went up to top of stage looking for him. Ambrose appeared standing on the announcers table with the WWE belt. He rushed into the ring to join Reigns and they cleared the ring of the heels, except Rollins. Ambrose tossed him the WWE title belt and then hit Dirty Deeds on him. Ambrose reclaimed the title belt and went into the crowd with Reigns to celebrate. Cole note Ambrose returned the title to Rollins but he “couldn’t hang onto it.” Triple H and Stephanie came out on stage looking angry. Steph pointed down at Ambrose who jumped over the guardrail into the crowd. Reigns came to join him and they went into the crowd to celebrate with fans. The Authority and Rollins were irate as Ambrose and Reigns kept on celebrating with fans to end the show.

Raw Results 11/10/14

Raw results from Liverpool, England:

John Cena started off the show talking about how The Authority is trying to scare anyone he recruits away from Team Cena for the Survivor Series match. He says Zack Ryder got beat down by Rusev for a tweet he made in favor of Team Cena. He says so far he has Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger on the team. He calls out Ryback to talk about their match tonight. The Authority interrupts. Stephanie announces Mark Henry will take on Dolph Ziggler later tonight. Both Team Authority and Team Cena want Ryback. He ends up slamming John Cena to join the Authority’s side.

Seth Rollins defeated Jack Swagger via pinfall. Rollins hit a Curb Stomp for the win. After the match, he hit another Curb Stomp on Swagger.

Dean Ambrose cut a promo on the big screen saying he’s not afraid of demons and will drag Bray Wyatt to hell at Survivor Series when they meet.

Kane was backstage with Ryback trying to get him ready for the big match with Cena. Ryback told him he’s got his own back and isn’t worried about it.

Paige defeated Alicia Fox via pinfall. Paige avoided Alicia's second backbreaker attempt on her, then eventually hit the RamPaige for the win.

Stephanie McMahon reminded Rusev and Lana that The Authority gave him a title shot last week. Lana and Rusev headed out to celebrate the US Title victory, playing the Russian national anthem. Sheamus interrupted to head into a rematch for the title.

Rusev defeated Sheamus via countout to retain the US Championship. At one point, Rusev rolled out of the ring to avoid the Brogue Kick. Seamus went after him and put Rusev in the ring, but he rolls back out again. He threw Rusev into the barriers. Rusev recovered, but Mercury and Noble were ringside to attack Sheamus from behind before he could get back in the ring. Post-match, they brawled outside the ring. The Authority comes down to help out Rusev. Stephanie congratulates Rusev on the win and asks if he will join Team Authority. Rusev accepts the offer.

The Miz & Damien Mizdow defeated Los Matadores. Hornswoggle was also ringside as a mini stunt double for Miz and Mizdow.

John Cena was talking to Dolph Ziggler backstage when Triple H interrupted. He banned Cena from being at ringside during Ziggler’s match.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Mark Henry due to disqualification in a non-title match. Henry used a steel chair at one point, and then kept beating on Ziggler with it. Big Show came down to make a save. He announced he’ll be a part of Team Cena at Survivor Series.

Sheamus was announced as part of Team Cena.

AJ Lee defeated Brie Bella. Post-match, Nikki Bella attacked AJ and posed with her Divas title.

Backstage, Ryback and Mark Henry talked about their match at WrestleMania. Henry welcomes Ryback to Team Authority with him.

Tyson Kidd defeated Adam Rose when The Bunny distracted Rose. Rose attacked The Bunny after the match. Erick Rowan was also ringside at one point during the match, but the reason wasn’t given.

John Cena defeated Ryback due to disqualification. Kane came into the ring at one point causing a DQ. Kane and Ryback had words with one another. Seth Rollins tried to intervene. Ryback ended up hitting Rollins, then Kane hit Ryback. Team Authority started to beat up on Cena. Other members of Team Cena came down but were taken out. Ryback got back into the ring and cleaned The Authority out of the ring. He left by himself as RAW ended.

Smackdown Results 10/31/14

SmackDown results from Houston, TX:

Big Show came out to start the show. He got a “Yes!” chant going and then told the crowd they’re going to send it as a video to help support Daniel Bryan. Show says Bryan needs another elbow surgery before he is back.

Nikki Bella won a Divas Battle Royal to become new #1 contender for the Divas title. Brie Bella wasn’t part of the match. AJ was on commentary. Paige was dressed up as Summer Rae. Nikki taunted AJ after winning the match.

Seth Rollins arrived out with Kane, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble to deliver a promo.

Kane defeated Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match. Post-match, Rollins started to beat up Ziggler. Mercury and Noble helped him out. A match was ordered involving Rollins vs. Ziggler.

Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler via pinfall.

Ryback defeated Heath Slater in a squash match. Slater was dressed up as a scarecrow.

MizTV was held with hosts The Miz and Damien Mizdow. They had Mark Henry as guest and he talked trash about Big Show. Show comes down and the two ended up fighting, crashing through the barrier at one point.

Los Matadores defeated Stardust & Goldust in a non-title match.

Rusev defeated The Great Khali. Rusev and Lana did a promo to inform Sheamus that Rusev is coming for his United States championship next.

Bray Wyatt did a promo in the ring in his rocking chair about Dean Ambrose.

Dean Ambrose defeated Cesaro in a Trick or Street Fight. The match had pumpkins and decorations around the ring which became involved as weapons. Ambrose put pumpkins over Cesaro’s head in what was a comedic match to close the show.

Raw Results 10/27/14

Raw results from San Antonio, TX:

The opening segment had Triple H, Stephanie and Kane in the ring. They called Rollins out to commend him on last night’s win. He talks about getting Ambrose out of his hair finally and saying later he’ll see Cena in a puddle of his own failure. Randy Orton came out upset that Triple H and Steph haven’t done anything about Rollins. He attacks Rollins but HHH gets in the middle and says to cool it, telling Orton to go back to his bus and take the night off. Orton agrees but first hits an RKO to drop Rollins before leaving the ring.

Gold and Stardust won via pinfall over Mark Henry & Big Show to retain the tag team titles. During the match, Show and Henry got into an argument over a tag. Late in the match, Henry started to gain momentum but wouldn’t tag Show in, so Show tagged himself in. A brawl ensued with all four men, and Henry took exception to Show’s tag so he hit World’s Strongest Slam on him. Stardust covered for the winning pin. Post match, Henry hit two more WSS’s on Show and a big splash before leaving.

Roman Reigns did a live via satellite interview saying he’s getting better daily and wishes he could be there tonight. He talked about Ambrose being his boy and how he took it to Rollins but Rollins had to weasel out again to get a win. He said when he is cleared to return he will make Rollins the past instead of the future of the WWE.

AJ Lee defeated Alicia Fox via pinfall to retain the WWE Divas Championship. Paige was on guest commentary. She got involved late when Alicia hit a backbreaker on AJ. Paige kicked Alicia in the back then yelled at her to win. That allowed AJ to grab the pinfall for the win to retain. Post-match, Paige pretended to offer an apology to Alicia in the ring but instead kicked her in the gut then beat her up more on the outside of the ring. Eventually Jerry Lawler got up to defend Alicia and Paige left to her own music.

John Cena came out to the ring to deliver a promo about his win over Orton last night that gives him the right to face Brock Lesnar for the title. He talked about everything he does from now will be a statement to Lesnar. He said while Brock is watching from home thinking he’s champion, Cena is there every night fighting like one. He said tonight he will go through the future (Seth Rollins). 

Stephanie McMahon came out to interrupt. Steph offers Cena a business proposition for Survivor Series saying that he should join the Authority since the fans just want to see blood and guts. She says Cena does what he does every night but just for fan appreciation. She says maybe the winner of Cena vs Rollins can be the captain of “Team Authority” at Survivor Series. Cena tells her “hell no,” which brings out HHH next. He said “told you so” to Steph and then said Cena is hanging on by a thread mentally and physically right now. He said it will be Team Authority vs Team Cena at Survivor Series. He said Cena can have anyone on his team he gets to say “Yes” but he’s going to learn The Authority always wins.

The Usos defeated Damien Mizdow and The Miz via pinfall. Late in the match, Jimmy got a hot tag and hit a bunch of quick moves on Miz. Mizdow came in to break the pin up, distracting the ref. The Usos switched places and got the pinfall win with a pin on Miz.

Backstage, Cena had been talking to Ziggler about something and Dolph seemed to agree to it. After commercial break, Kane walked up to Ziggler saying he saw him talking to Cena and considers that an act of aggression against The Authority. He said tonight he’ll make him squeal.

Huk Hogan came out to deliver a talk about Susan Komen foundation and WWE’s partnership. He called breast cancer survivors who were sitting ringside to get in the ring and pose along with him as part of the segment to honor them.

Bo Dallas came out with the microphone. He said he was issuing an open challenge to whoever Bo-lieves they can beat him. Ryback’s music hit and he came to accept the challenge.

Ryback defeated Bo Dallas via pinfall. Ryback won the match in about a minute or so. He hit the toss in the air, a Spinebuster and a Meathook clothesline, then Shellshocked for the quick win.

Cesaro made his ring entrance for a match. The announcers recapped the earlier incident between Orton and Rollins with The Authority in ring.  Dean Ambrose came down and got on the announce table for a promo, calling out Bray Wyatt. He eventually started to beat up Cesaro in the ring and on the outside, then demanded that Wyatt get down there. Wyatt appeared on the big screen and said he sees himself in Ambrose. He said he’s not his friend or brother and was going to take him apart. He finished with “Run, Dean, run.”

Nikki Bella arrived to the ring with Brie along with her as her personal assistant.

Nikki Bella defeated Naomi by pinfall. Late in the match, Naomi had control and rolled Nikki back in the ring. Brie grabbed Naomi’s foot which distracted her. Nikki knocked Naomi down then hit Rack Attack on her for the win. Post-match, Nikki had Brie raise her arm in victory.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Kane via pinfall. The match went on about 13 minutes. Towards the close, Ziggler hit the Superkick and tried for Zig Zag. Kane avoided it and booted him down. He prepared for the chokeslam but Ziggler rolled down Kane’s back and hit a Sunset Flip to grab the pinfall win. Post-match, Ziggler got out of the ring, but Rollins rushed down and attacked Dolph. He brought him back in the ring so he and Kane could attack. John Cena rushed to the ring to make a save. Rollins escaped the ring ahead of his match with Cena.

John Cena defeated Seth Rollins via disqualification. Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble were ringside as security for Rollins. They got involved on the outside at one point, attacking Cena so Rollins could get back in the ring. Cena had the advantage late as they battled on the corner. Rollins escaped an attempted AA from on the corner and hit a buckle bomb on Cena. He went for a Curb stomp, but Cena caught his foot and then put him down into the STF. Kane rushed in to make a save, causing a DQ. Post-match, Ziggler also rushed down and got involved. After Dolph, more guys from the locker room came down to get involved. Rollins escaped the melee while Cena was eventually left in the cleared ring after hitting a few AA’s on some guys. Rollins waved a hand in front of his face to taunt Cena from the stage with The Authority by him.

Smackdown Results 10/17/14

Smackdown results from Birmingham, AL:

Seth Rollins started the show by coming to the ring. The crowd kept chanting “You Sold Out,” and then Rollins joined them in the chant. He said everyone in the crowd would do what he did just to have his opportunity. He called the crowd cowards because they can’t do it though. He said they’ll never be like him. He then said at HIAC he’s going to “put out” Dean Ambrose.  Dolph Ziggler made his entrance and told Rollins that he may have got money and opportunity by selling out, but lost self-respect. He got in the ring and the two trash talked a bit more before Dolph dropkicked Rollins to start the opening match.

Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler via pinfall in a non-title matchup. Late in the match, both guys tried for finishers but neither was able to get theirs to go. Eventually, Rollins got the advantage when he hit a buckle bomb on Ziggler, then followed up with the Curb Stomp for the win. Post-match, Ambrose came to the ring with the contract he won on Raw which lets him face Rollins at HIAC. Rollins took off. Ambrose said he finally got what he wanted, a match against Rollins inside the cell where he can’t run away. Kane came out and said he doesn’t have a match at HIAC and is feeling violent tonight, so he’s going to take on Ambrose in the main event.

A.J. Lee defeated Layla via submission in a non-title match. AJ had a lot of the early offense in this one. Layla managed to put head scissors on at one point, but AJ later avoided a cross body. She put on the Black Widow to make Layla tap out. Post-match, Alicia Fox came in to attack. AJ avoided her, but Paige snuck in and hit a side kick then the Ram-Paige to knock down the divas champ down. Both Alicia and Paige finished the segment by skipping together. AJ recovered and kissed her divas title belt.

Backstage, Rollins walked up to Kane and asked him to leave a small piece of Ambrose for HIAC. Kane talked up the fact that neither Rollins or Ambrose understand the kind of suffering that happens inside the cell. He said on Monday night he, Rollins and Orton will do more damage to Cena and Ambrose in a handicap street fight, but tonight he’ll have fun with Ambrose a bit. 

Sheamus & The Uso Brothers defeated The Miz, Stardust & Goldust via pinfall in a six-man tag team match. The match lasted about 11 minutes total. The close saw Sheamus working over Stardust, before clotheslining Miz out of the ring. Jimmy Uso did a suicide dive onto opponents outside the ring. Goldust made a blind tag to get into the match again. Everyone started to get involved, but eventually Sheamus put down Goldust for the pin with a Brogue Kick.

Big Show came out in street clothes for a promo. He talked about taking Mark Henry’s spot in a match against Rusev at Hell in a Cell, and invited Henry out so he could talk about it. Henry came to the ring. Show told a story of them being at Waffle House and flipping a guy’s car over. He said they were family, then brought up the names of Henry’s wife and kids. Henry admitted he was a bit angry that Show was saying he can do something Henry can’t (defeat Rusev) but he’ll give him his space for the match at HIAC.

Lana and Rusev came out to big heat from the crowd. Lana called them the Goodyear Blimps of WWE because they are slow and all blown up. Rusev got on the mic promising to crush him and Show will go down just like his friend Mark Henry. Show said Rusev can’t crush his spine because it’s American made. He said at HIAC he’ll chokeslam Rusev, knock him out and get the 1-2-3 pinfall.

Nikki Bella defeated Naomi via pinfall. The match lasted almost two minutes. Early on, Naomi managed to hit the Rear View. Naomi had a pinfall but Nikki put a foot on the ropes to break it. Later, Nikki managed to get Naomi in the Torture Rack backbreaker to get the win.

Dean Ambrose defeated Kane due to disqualification. Towards the end, Kane had a hold on Ambrose before tossing him out of the ring. On the outside, Ambrose gained some control when he dropkicked Kane into the ring steps. Back in the ring, Ambrose went for a double arm DDT, but Rollins distracted him. Rollins managed to pull Ambrose to the outside and caused the DQ for the match. Post-match, Rollins and Kane did a double team on Ambrose. Kane brought a chair into the ring so Rollins could go for a Curb Stomp. Instead, Ambrose got the chair and cleared the heels out of the ring. Smackdown closed with Ambrose celebrating himself chasing off the heels from doing any damage.

Raw Results 10/13/14

Raw Results from Atlanta, GA:

The show opened with Dean Ambrose coming to the ring to discuss how badly he wants to get inside the cell at Hell in a Cell with Seth Rollins. He said nothing Cena can do will stop him either. John Cena came out to interrupt, telling Ambrose he should prepare because in two weeks he’s got the match of his life and Cena is going to bring it. The two were about to throw down, when Triple H and Stephanie interrupted. They argued a bit about whether or not the two could co-exist on a tag team, with a bet being made. Eventually a match was booked with Cena and Ambrose against The Usos and Stardust and Goldust.

John Cena & Dan Ambrose defeated Goldust, Stardust and The Uso Brothers via pinfall in a non-title match. Cena scored the winning pinfall on Goldust after hitting an Attitude Adjustment. Post-match, HHH and Stephanie were back on stage and HHH paid Steph a dollar for losing their bet. He said why wait until Hell in a Cell, as Cena vs. Ambrose will fight in a Contract on a Pole match tonight on Raw instead.

AJ Lee & Layla defeated Paige & Alicia Fox via pinfall. At one point, Layla dropped off the ring apron when AJ wanted to tag her in. Eventually, AJ hit Fox with a Shining Wizard and then pinned her. Lee chased after Layla post-match then beat her up a bit before grabbing her title belt and smiling back at Paige and Fox.

Backstage, Randy Orton came up to talk to Stephanie and Triple H. He said Cena and Ambrose can both beat Rollins but they can’t beat him. He asked for a match with whoever loses the Cena vs. Ambrose matchup. The Authority agreed with Orton and said he would get his match as a Hell in a Cell Match at the PPV.

Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler via pinfall in a non-title match. The match lasted nearly 20 minutes with plenty of exciting spots. During the match, Cesaro was on guest commentary talking about wanting an IC title rematch. Seth Rollins came out on stage and then down to ringside where he watched the match. Towards the end, Ziggler went for a Fameasser but instead Orton caught him and threw him into the air, then hit an RKO for the win. Post-match, Rollins got in the ring to hit a Curb Stomp on Ziggler before posing with the MITB briefcase.

Seth Rollins defeated Jack Swagger via pinfall. Rollins tried for his finisher late in this one, but Swagger avoided it to put the Patriot Lock on. Rollins managed to reach the ropes. Moments later, he got a roll up pinfall and secured Swagger’s tights for the win. Orton was at ringside and got in the ring to hit an RKO post-match, then trash talked with Rollins a bit.

Ambrose was interviewed by Renee Young backstage. Ambrose talked about how he’s not a nice guy and nobody should expect him to be one when he faces Cena tonight. He sang that Cena and Rollins were both on a highway to hell.

Todd Phillips spoke with Big Show backstage about how over 300 million Americans are counting on him against Rusev. Show said no disrespect to Mark Henry, but the weight of America is on his shoulders now. He said he’s going to show Rusev what he learned in sensitivity training now.

Rusev defeated Big Show due to disqualification. Lana and Rusev cut a promo pre-match to dis the Atlanta Braves fans in attendance and Americans. Rusev called out Show for knocking him out and said he will pay tonight. In the match, Show gained control of things late and set up for a KO punch. However, Rusev ducked the punch and kicked Show down so he could put on The Accolade. Mark Henry came down to ringside and yelled to encourage Big Show. Henry got up on the apron, so Rusev released the hold then knocked Henry off the apron. He put the hold back on Show, but Henry got in the ring and punched Rusev. The ref called for the bell. Post-match, Show and Henry argued a bit before Show apologized. The duo went to ringside and cornered Rusev. Rusev ran at Henry to trade strikes with him, but then turned and was hit by a KO punch from Big Show. Lana yelled at them for what happened.

They had Todd Chrisley from “Chrisley Knows Best” on USA at ringside. A preview was shown of the show ahead of its premiere episode. Todd Phillips was there to interview him and Chrisley said his son watches this stuff every day.

The Miz defeated Sheamus via count out in a non-title match. Damien Mizdow was ringside with Miz. Late in this one, The Miz and Mizdow both snuck underneath the ring. Sheamus attempted to grab both to pull them out and got involved in a fight with Mizdow. Meanwhile, The Miz got back into the ring to avoid the count out. Sheamus laughed about it and then tried to rush into the ring to go after Miz, but Miz escaped and went up on stage with Mizdow to laugh at Sheamus.

Backstage, Raw special guest star Nene Leakes of Real Housewives got into it with Cameron who was snotty to her. They got in one another faces then dismissed each other with Cameron walking off.

Brie Bella, Natalya, and Naomi defeated Nikki Bella, Summer Rae, and Cameron via pinfall. Rosa Mendes and Nene Leakes were ringside. Brie kicked Nikki late in the match, then hit a Facebuster to get the pinfall win. Rosa and Nene Leakes celebrated in the ring with the winning divas.

Cena was interviewed by Renee Young backstage and played up the fact that Atlanta hosted WrestleMania 27 before. He said the fans can see the same thing in Ambrose that others see: that he’s a wild card and the only guy with the guts to get in the ring with him. He said the pole match will be about brains and will feature the brightest young star going face-to-face with the man who runs the place.

A Wyatt Family promo video was shown. Bray said he used to be afraid but “she came and told him he’d never be alone because of the spirits at his sides.” Bray confused with “It’s coming” and was shown in his rocking chair as smoke filled up the area.

Dean Ambrose defeated John Cena in a Contract on a Pole match. The Authority came out ahead of the match as spectators. Rollins, Orton and Kane came out after Cena and Ambrose made entrances. During the match, Cena put an STF on Ambrose, but Dean bit Cena’s hand to break it. Cena yelled out in pain and went to the floor, with Ambrose going after him instead of getting the contract. Orton pointed out the contract on the pole to Ambrose, but Dean punched Randy down instead. Cena hit Ambrose from behind and attempted to go for the contract, but Orton got to the ring to stop him. Ambrose got back in the ring with Rollins and Kane following behind. Cena hit an AA on Kane. As Cena was busy, Ambrose was able to pull down the contract to win the match against Rollins at HIAC. Cena gave Ambrose some applause for the win. Post-match, Orton got on the ring apron and then made gestures to indicate they’d be facing off in a Hell in a Cell match.

Raw Results 09/29/14

Raw results from Chicago, IL:

The opening segment had Triple H and Stephanie arrive to the ring to discuss Ambrose stealing Seth Rollins’ MITB briefcase. HHH said nobody disrespects the business like that. Paul Heyman’s voice came on to say “Ladies and gentlemen,” before he headed to the ring. He said he’s there to see if Seth Rollins or The Authority have a problem with his client Brock Lesnar, after what Rollins tried to do at NOC. Seth Rollins eventually arrived out and talked Heyman out of any issues, apologizing for what he did but saying it didn’t involve The Authority and he was being an opportunist. He also said he was trying to prevent Cena from becoming champion again, since nobody wants to see that. 

Dean Ambrose appeared on the big screen after Heyman left. He held up the briefcase and said if they want it they should come and get it. The Authority and Rollins started to leave to go backstage, when John Cena rushed out to his music. He attacked Rollins a bit, before Rollins escaped and joined The Authority on the ramp to back away.

Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz and Cesaro via pinfall in a Triple Threat match to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Late in the match, Ziggler put a figure four on Miz, but Cesaro broke it up. Cesaro hit a big uppercut on Miz, then Ziggler super kicked Cesaro out of the ring. He followed with a pin on The Miz to win. Post-match, Miz was grabbing his knee after the figure four, so Damien Mizdow imitated him.

HHH and Stephanie ordered two of their personnel (Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury) to go find Dean Ambrose. They ended up going through the Rosebuds and Big E before coming up to Great Khali who said “Who’s Ambrose?” When they reported back to HHH saying they couldn’t find Ambrose, Stephanie mentioned the mustard she saw on one of their faces. HHH told them to find Ambrose or they’d be fired.  Damien Mizdow and The Miz showed up to complain to HHH about the Triple Threat match. HHH told Mizdow he’d have a match tonight against Sheamus and said if Miz ever barked orders at him again he’d find his straight to DVD career would go straight to the unemployment line.

Layla defeated Rosa Mendes via pinfall. Tyson Kidd and Natalya were ringside for Rosa while Summer Rae was there for Layla. Kidd seemed more focused on his cellphone during the match and not his wife or the ring action. At one point, Natalya got into a fight with Summer at ringside and Kidd continued to ignore. In the ring, Layla was able to throw Rosa into the second rope and hit a neck breaker for a pinfall win.

Ambrose came out to the ring with the MITB briefcase and also brought out a bag of WWE t-shirts from concessions. He said he forgot what he was charging so he just tossed them to fans in the crowd, and also gave away the bag. Eventually Noble and Mercury came to ringside with Ambrose joking the Cruiserweight division was there to get him. He wouldn’t hand over the briefcase, so Rollins showed up with security. Ambrose apologized on the mic and left the briefcase in the ring. Rollins eventually got it as Ambrose went into the crowd. As Rollins opened the briefcase he was sprayed with green slime. Ambrose pretended to apologize from in the crowd while the crowd chanted for him a bit.

Backstage, HHH informed Kane and Orton they’d take on Cena and Ambrose tonight. Meanwhile, the MITB briefcase was there and something started to vibrate inside it. Stephanie said “it’s not mine,” and then Rollins walked in to get the briefcase saying “It’s an electric razor.”

Mark Henry arrived out to the ring to apologize again for losing to Rusev. He said he knows the fans expect more from him. Bo Dallas’ music hit and he came out to interrupt. He told Henry he should apologize to himself, not the WWE Universe. He said maybe Henry should enter the Hall of Bolievers.

Bo Dallas defeated Mark Henry via pinfall. In the match, Henry was in control throughout most of it until he missed a second rope splash. Dallas hit the Bo Dog to get a clean pinfall win.

They had a backstage segment with Goldust and Stardust. Goldust told his brother they’d finally obtained the cosmic key and only it can determine their fate. He said everything else around them backstage is just science fiction. 

Brie Bella came to the ring for a match. Nikki’s music hit and she came onto the stage to remind Brie that this is the same arena where she had quit for Daniel Bryan months ago. Nikki she remembers having to wrestle a handicap match so now it’s payback time.

Brie Bella defeated Eva Marie and Cameron via pinfall. The match lasted just under three minutes. Brie managed to run the two divas into each other at one point and then scored a rollup pinfall on Cameron.

Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil defeated Los Matadores via pinfall. Hornswoggle, dressed as an alligator, came to the ring with Titus and Slater. Before the match, Titus went over to ringside where he hugged political activist Jesse Jackson. Adam Rose was on commentary with the Bunny and Rosebuds standing behind them. In the match, Hornswoggle got into the ring at one point with Torito chasing him off. Later in the match, Slater managed to trip up one of Los Matadores and then he scored the pin. Post-match, Titus threw Torito down so that Hornswoggle could do a Gator Roll on him. Rose and the Bunny got onto the apron. Titus charged towards Rose who yanked the top rope down. Los Matadores took down Slater to the mat and the Bunny hit a top rope splash onto him. The Bunny went to ringside to high five Jesse Jackson, who raised his arm up in victory.

Rusev and Lana came to the ring where Lana said Rusev showed dominance against Big Show on Smackdown, but he was a sore loser and punched Rusev. Big Show came out onto the stage to interrupt, saying they are an all out propaganda machine, twisting around the facts. He had the video clip shown of him KO punching Rusev down on the mat. Rusev eventually spoke saying, “Big Show I will break every bone in your body.” Show interrupted saying “We don’t speak Russian.” Show then polled the crowd to see if they wanted him to head to the ring and knock down a White Russian. He started on his way to the ring but Rusev rolled out the other side to retreat. Show grabbed the Russian flag hanging in the ring and yanked it down.

John Cena did an interview backstage where he talked about how he heard the fans chanting “his” name earlier. He clarified that he was talking about “Ambrose,” and tried to get the crowd to chant it again but they didn’t. He said he’s happy to be teaming up with him tonight. Ambrose showed up in the scene and Cena asked if he had something to add. Ambrose said “No, not really,” then said once they finish off Kane and Orton, Rollins is his. Cena said he wants to get his hands on Rollins. Ambrose told him “Nobody takes food off my plate, not even you.”

Alicia Fox defeated AJ Lee via pinfall in a non-title match. Paige was at ringside for Alicia. She distracted AJ at one point, which allowed Alicia to hit the scissors kick on her back for a pinfall. Post-match, Fox pulled out some Mountain Dew cans from under the ring. Paige hit the Rampaige on AJ and raised up the Divas title belt. Fox dropped the two soda cans next to AJ.

Sheamus defeated Damien Mizdow via pinfall. Miz was on commentary complaining how HHH badmouthed his movie career earlier. In the match, Sheamus at one point hit his 10 forearm bashes to Mizdow’s chest. Miz went to check on his stunt double and Sheamus grabbed Mizdow then sent him into Miz. In the ring, Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick to get the win.

They had a backstage segment where Kane and Randy Orton were venting to each other, saying they don’t care about the “stupid briefcase.” Kane brought up how he is getting stuck putting out the fires that Rollins starts. Stephanie entered the room and chastised them. She tried to suggest that the people have been saying they’ve gone soft lately and lack the killer instinct they once had.

John Cena & Dean Ambrose defeated Kane & Randy Orton due to disqualification when Seth Rollins interfered. At one point, Cena hot tagged Ambrose into the match and he beat up on Kane and Orton. He eventually hit Dirty Deeds on Orton and started to cover, but Rollins rushed in to break things up. Post-match, Rollins took some shots at Ambrose, who punched back. Rollins backed off. Ambrose then tried for a suicide dive out onto Kane, but Ambrose’s leg got tangled in the rope and he fell short. He got right up and started to brawl. Ambrose returned to the ring to go after Rollins, but Orton struck from behind. Cena cleared Orton out of the ring so he could start punching Rollins. Ambrose got back up and went over Cena to get some shots in on Rollins. Ambrose tossed Cena out of the ring. With Rollins down in the corner, Ambrose picked up the MITB briefcase and looked at him. Orton came up from behind on Ambrose and hit the RKO. Kane then chokeslammed Ambrose. Rollins instructed them to finish off Ambrose.

Kane and Orton held Ambrose in place on the MITB briefcase and Rollins hit the Curb Stomp onto his head into the case. Cena rushed into the ring to try to make a save but got hit by the RKO. Kane hit a chokeslam on him, and then Rollins Curb Stomped Cena’s head into the briefcase as well to close out RAW.

Raw Results 09/22/14

Raw results from Memphis, TN:

The opening segment had Dean Ambrose come to the ring and recap how he had been hit in the head with cinder blocks on Raw weeks ago, then showed up last night to get revenge on Rollins. He said he’s the authority tonight and is not leaving the ring until he gets his hands on Rollins. Ambrose set up a chair in the ring and took a seat, but just then John Cena’s music hit.

Cena arrived to the ring and Ambrose warned him not to give him a reason to not like him. Cena said he’s not the only one who wants to get their hands on Rollins. Cena said after Rollins cost him a chance at the title last night, Cena is cashing in his “ass kicking in the bank contract.” Ambrose reiterated that he warned Cena already. Cena took off his various items preparing to fight, and Ambrose started to take off his jacket. The Authority arrived out with Steph, HHH, Kane and Rollins.

Triple H said Rollins won’t be fighting anyone tonight but Cena and Ambrose will. Both Cena and Ambrose rushed up the ramp to fight members of The Authority. Rollins fled to the crowd with Ambrose chasing and getting him a few times. Eventually, they got backstage, with Rollins fleeing from both Cena and Ambrose. He found someone loading luggage into a car and shoved them away, then stole the car to drive off.

Backstage, Orton complained to The Authority, asking when Rollins was coming back. HHH told Kane to take care of Ambrose tonight and noted that Orton is taking on Cena. Orton said Rollins needs to stop starting fires that they all have to put out for him.

Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz to become new Intercontinental Champion. Late in the match, Damien Mizdow distracted Ziggler and Miz rolled up Dolph for a pinfall. Ziggler rolled through then grabbed Miz’s tights just like he did to him at NOC to get the win and reclaim the title.

Jack Swagger defeated Bo Dallas via submission. Late in the contest, Swagger was able to get Dallas from the ropes and put him on his shoulders. He slammed Bo face first to the mat, then applied a Patriot Lock for the win.

Natalya defeated Summer Rae via submission. Summer cut a promo before the match about how she doesn’t need Natalya or the fans. She said summer may be coming to an end, but Summer time is always going on for her and Layla. In the match, Rosa was outside for Natalya, while Layla was there for Summer. Rosa was able to take care of Layla ringside at one point. Summer tried to roll up Natty, but she rolled through and put on the Sharpshooter.

Dean Ambrose defeated Kane via disqualification. The match lasted just over five minutes. Ambrose hit his finisher Dirty Deeds late in the match. Seth Rollins showed up and got involved causing a DQ before Ambrose could get the win. Post-match, Kane chokeslammed Ambrose to the mat.

After commercial, Rollins and Kane were having a discussion backstage. HHH showed up and told Rollins he needs to stop picking fights. Suddenly, Ambrose showed up and attacked Rollins from behind. He threw some punches at Kane. Security rushed in to break things up. Stephanie yelled at them to get Ambrose out of there. They locked Ambrose into a room and had a guard stand at the door to keep him there.

Sheamus and The Uso Brothers defeated Cesaro, Goldust, and Stardust via pinfall. Cesaro hit punches to the gut and a face uppercut move late in this one. Later, things broke down and one of The Usos had Goldust isolated to hit a top rope Superfly Splash for the win.

Seth Rollins took Randy Orton aside backstage and thanked him for facing John Cena tonight. He said he may have a bit of a surprise waiting for Orton at ringside. He mentioned that he and Kane will be there to watch the match as well. Orton said “I like surprises,” after Rollins gave him the info.

Mark Henry came to the ring to apologize to the fans for last night’s loss. He said he’s still not 100% and he knows he let everyone down so they can pick on him or whatever. Lana and Rusev came out on stage with Lana making fun of Americans and the Tennessee accent. She said the fans there probably want to see a rematch. She ordered Rusev to “Crush” and they headed to the ring before a commercial break.

Rusev defeated Mark Henry via submission. Henry gained control late and climbed to the second rope but Rusev managed to yank him down. He stomped on Henry to further hurt his back from last night’s incidents, then put on The Accolade to make him submit.

Adam Rose and The Bunny defeated Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil via pinfall. The match lasted about 3 minutes with the bunny getting some moves in on Slater and then Titus. Adam Rose got tagged in late to hit the Party Foul for the win.

They had a segment where Nikki Bella came to the ring saying it was mostly Brie’s fault that she didn’t win in the Divas title match last night. She blamed Brie’s comments about her before the match at NOC for the loss. Brie came out and said Nikki is always blaming others for her shortcomings. Nikki told Brie she’s an embarrassment to the family name and should be called “Nikki’s Trashy Sister.” She insulted her for not taking Daniel Bryan’s name saying maybe she was ashamed to be married to a broken down, ugly troll. Brie slapped Nikki in the face and Nikki rolled out of the ring holding her face. New divas champ AJ Lee skipped to the ring for the match against Nikki.

AJ Lee defeated Nikki Bella via submission in a non-title match. Nikki hit an Alabama Slam at one point for a near fall. She charged at AJ in the corner moments later, with AJ avoiding her. AJ then put on the Black Widow to make Nikki tap out.

John Cena defeated Randy Orton via disqualification. The match lasted a bit over 15 minutes for the main event. Towards the end, Orton set up for a superplex but Cena head butted him off. Orton managed to get back up and then crotched Cena on the ropes. He hit his draping DDT from the middle rope. Orton had a near fall from there. Cena came back moments later and put the STF on Orton, but Kane and Rollins got involved causing the DQ. Cena managed to fight off the three men, but Rollins kicked him. Kane hit a chokeslam on Cena. Rollins had Kane and Orton bring Cena to ringside where there was a large black box set up with Rollins’ surprise in it. When Kane picked up the box, Dean Ambrose was inside and sprang out to attack. Cena recovered so he and Ambrose could fight off the heels. Rollins took off into the crowd.

WWE Night of Champions Live Results Coverage (Updated)

Welcome to WWE Night of Champions 2014 live results coverage. This latest post will have updated match-by-match recaps and the winner results for all of the latest pay-per-view event's happenings in Nashville, Tennessee. The Bridgestone Arena will serve as host venue for this latest wrestling extravaganza, with a special live online kickoff show starting things off at 7 p.m. EST!

The WWE Night of Champions 2014 pay-per-view goes live via television providers and the WWE Network on Sunday night at 8 p.m. EST. Cable providers such as Cox, BrightHouse and Time Warner will allow fans to order the event, while those who have the monthly WWE Network subscription can also watch via their internet. With this particular event, every championship in the WWE will be on the line, including John Cena taking on Brock Lesnar in a rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Also, Paige defends the WWE Divas title in a Triple Threat, The Usos defend their tag titles against Goldust and Stardust, and the United States and Intercontinental titles are also up for grabs.

Update 9/18: In an update about the event already, one competitor will be unable to compete on Sunday night due to emergency surgery. Roman Reigns was rushed to the hospital according to reports for incarcerated hernia, so he will not go against Seth Rollins as planned. In the other scheduled grudge matches on the card, Chris Jericho will battle Randy Orton in what could be a classic, while Mark Henry will take on Rusev in a match where the winner will have their flag unveiled from the rafters.

Here's a look at the latest match-by-match results from the NOC card:

Night of Champions Kickoff Show

Renee Young hosted a pre-show panel that included Booker T, The Big Show and Alex Riley. They talked over their thoughts and predicted winners for the various matches. Booker did a backstage interview at one point with Goldust, his former tag partner. Goldust told Booker the old Goldust he knew was no more. Stardust came into the interview and acted weird towards Booker, then said he and Goldust were trying to take the "Cosmic Keys" from The Usos tonight.

Christian returned to host a special in-ring Peep Show with guest Chris Jericho. He talked about their former run as tag team champions, then after a small argument between them, Christian brought up Randy Orton and the match tonight. He talked about what sets Jericho apart from Orton. Orton showed up on the big screen to remind Christian that he put him out of commission before and was going to do the same to Jericho tonight. He told Jericho the only TV show he'll be appearing on after tonight is "Total Divas." Jericho told Orton he'll be appearing on "Total Jackass" and vowed to win tonight so Orton would never, everrrr mess with him again.

Stardust & Goldust vs. The Uso Brothers
WWE Tag Team Championship

Towards the end of the match the two teams traded some close near falls. At one point, The Usos hit multiple moves including a super kick, Samoan drop and suicide dive to the outside to take out Goldust and Stardust. One of The Usos went for the Superfly Splash onto Stardust late in this one. Stardust got both knees up to block it, and then took the pinfall for the win. Cole said it could be one of the most bizarre reigns in WWE history.

Winners: Goldust and Stardust defeated The Usos via pinfall to become new Tag Team Champions.

Cesaro vs. Sheamus
US Championship Match

Cesaro ducked the Brogue Kick late, and then tossed Sheamus up in the air to hit the uppercut. He had a pinfall but Sheamus escaped. Cesaro tried to follow with the Neutralizer but couldn’t lift the champ. Sheamus countered and eventually hit a move to slam for a near fall of his own. More near fall action followed with Cesaro trying for the Neutralizer and getting backdropped instead. Another Brogue Kick attempt, and Cesaro escaped it to hit a modified throw slam from his shoulders with Sheamus. Towards the end Sheamus was in the ring corner and getting hammered on by Cesaro. At one point, Sheamus blasted forward with the Brogue Kick to level Cesaro and finally got a winning pinfall.

Winner: Sheamus defeated Cesaro via pinfall to retain the United States Championship.

The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler
Intercontinental Championship Match

Country music stars Florida Georgia Line were announced to come down as special guests on commentary for the match. Damien Mizdow and R-Ziggler were ringside for their respective partners. During the match, Damien Mizdow got in FGL's faces, so they shoved him down before R-Truth took over. In the match Miz had a quick move late, where he had a rollup pinfall late and grabbed a hold of Dolph’s tights to secure it. Cole announced that Miz is a four-time Intercontinental Champion now.

Winner: The Miz won via pinfall over Dolph Ziggler to become new Intercontinental Champion.

Seth Rollins' music hit and he came to the ring with his Money in the Bank briefcase in hand. In the ring, he talked about how one minute you can be on top of the world, the next you can be Roman Reigns. He said emergency surgery is no excuse for not showing up for a match. He said in the interest of fairness he'd give Roman Reigns 10 seconds to get to the ring or he would forfeit the match. Rollins told the referee to have the bell ring for the match. The ref did so, then Rollins suggested he start the count. The ref did and eventually got up to 10. Rollins' music hit and he was announced winner. He said on the mic its not official until the ref raises his hand. So the ref did so before leaving.

Rollins said he knew the fans were disappointed so he would issue an open challenge to anyone in the locker room to anyone who wants a match against him right now. After several moments nobody showed up. Suddenly, the big screen showed a taxi cab pulling up backstage and Dean Ambrose got out of the back. Ambrose rushed down to the ring and started to attack Rollins, eventually clotheslining him over the crowd barrier and then brawling with him into the crowd. From backstage, The Authority came out with several security guards to intervene and hold Ambrose off. They did for a bit but then he jumped off a set piece to land on them all on the floor. He kept up his attack on Rollins into the crowd for more of a brawl in front of the fans. Ambrose eventually grabbed a steel chair as Rollins was in teh ring. He went after Rollins but security all tackled him. Triple H passed in a plastic tie to bind Ambrose's hands behind his back and take him away. A large group of officials carried Ambrose from the ring and backstage.

Mark Henry vs. Rusev

Mark Henry was already in the ring and Justin Roberts introduced him, before introducing Lillian Garcia to sing the National Anthem. Henry stood there to take in Lillian's singing and was full of tears. The crowd chanted U-S-A following the song, right before Rusev's music hit and he arrived out with Lana. Cole noted that Rusev is undefeated and Henry will try to finally conquer him tonight.

Early on in the match, Henry grabbed the upper hand and knocked Rusev out of the ring. Rusev tried to get back in, but Henry was ready to attack so he backed off. Henry went to the outside and Rusev grabbed control by ramming him back first into the ring post and steel steps. Rusev gained control later in the ring with a spinning kick to drop Henry. He went for The Accolade, but Henry powered out of it before he could lock it. Moments later, Rusev walked into World’s Strongest Slam, but Henry was favoring his back and unable to make a quick cover. Rusev rolled out of the ring to escape pinfall. 

Moments later, Rusev connected on a kick to Henry from the outside through the ropes. Rusev got back in the ring to hit another kick. Once in control he locked on The Accolade to make Henry tap out. Lawler said Henry getting his back slammed into the steel steps and ring post was what really cost him this one. Lana put the medal around Rusev’s neck and the Russian Flag was eventually lowered from the rafters.

Winner: Rusev wins via submission over Mark Henry.

Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton

At one point in the match, things spilled to the outside where Orton began destroying Jericho. At one point, JBL’s hat got knocked down, but Orton handed it to JBL. From there, Orton slammed Jericho back first on the announcers table before returning to the ring for a near fall. He locked a headlock in with Jericho powering to his feet and battling back. Jericho eventually got back in control and hit a double axe handle off the top rope to take down Orton, followed by the bulldog. Jericho went for the Lionsault but Orton rolled away. Jericho landed on his feet and Orton hit a backbreaker on him. Moments later, Jericho connected on the Lionsault for a near fall.

Jericho tried for Walls of Jericho, but Orton countered it and sent Jericho shoulder first to the ring corner. Jericho was hunched over near the corner and Orton backed up for the punt kick. He went for it but Jericho avoided it and tried for a quick pinfall. He followed by locking Orton into Walls of Jericho but Orton resisted tapping out. He tried to crawl to the bottom rope and barely touched it but Jericho pulled him back to the center and sat down on Orton. Orton managed to roll over and through Jericho’s legs to punch him, then used both feet to send Jericho to the outside.

Jericho attempted to get back in the ring, but Orton grabbed him to hit the draping DDT from the ropes. Jericho was slow to get to his feet and Orton revved up for an RKO. As Y2J got up, Orton went for the RKO but Jericho surprised him with a Codebreaker for the near fall. With Orton still down, Jericho got on the top rope for the high risk move. He dove off at Orton, but Orton surprised him with the RKO. After a pause, Orton rolled over onto Jericho for the winning pinfall.

Winner: Randy Orton won via pinfall over Chris Jericho.

Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee vs. Paige
Divas Championship Triple Threat

Early on, Paige and Nikki both rushed at AJ but she kicked both. AJ made sure Paige was knocked to the outside and then attacked Nikki to gain control. Nikki eventually regained control with a sleeper hold on AJ. Moments later, Paige went against the ropes and AJ yanked her foot from the outside. She pulled Paige to the outside and slammed her into the barricade. Nikki came to the outside and AJ slammed her to the barrier too.

At one point, AJ jumped off the corner but Nikki caught her and said “it’s over now.” However, AJ countered and put on the Black Widow. Before Nikki could tap, Paige was back in the ring and kicked AJ in the head. She followed up by kicking Nikki in the head and had a near fall on her, then tried for a pinfall on AJ. Moments later, Paige tried to superplex AJ off the corner, but Nikki came over to slam both divas together. All three divas were down. Moments later, Paige and AJ were left in the ring after AJ slammed Nikki off the apron to the floor. AJ put the Black Widow on Paige. Paige tried to counter, but AJ managed to re-lock the hold and Paige tapped out.

Winner: AJ Lee defeated Paige via submission to win the WWE Divas Championship.

John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
WWE World Heavyweight Title Match

From the onset, Lesnar tried to grab Cena for the German Suplex. Cena held onto the corner ropes to block it and was able to bump Lesnar off him. He followed with a hard clothesline and then an Attitude Adjustment for a quick pinfall attempt. Lesnar soon started to dominate things. First he locked a Kimura lock on Cena trying to break his arm, but Cena managed to grab the bottom rope to break it up. Lesnar eventually got a German Suplex on Cena, and another one later on which threw Cena awkwardly onto his neck on the mat.

Cena tried to muster up some offense a few times, but was chopped down by Lesnar each time. Cena managed to start up some major offense finally with multiple punches and elbows to the face. He tried for a AA near the ropes but Lesnar countered with the German Suplex. Lesnar was busted open at the nose as Cole pointed out a bit of blood. Cena exploded moments later and hit another AA on Lesnar to lay him on the mat for a near fall which Lesnar escaped at 2. Cena tried for a STF shortly after, but Lesnar escaped it and countered with the Kimura lock. 

Cena managed to power up to his feet and then rammed Lesnar into the corner twice. Cena hit a third AA and then put on the STF. Lesnar tried to get to the ropes but Cena kept dragging him away from the ropes. Lesnar appeared ready to tap out, but Cena got impatient and grabbed him for a fourth AA. As Cena was trying to pin Lesnar, suddenly Seth Rollins rushed into the ring and smashed Cena with the Money in the Bank briefcase. The ref called for the bell as a DQ finish. Rollins bashed Cena in the head again and Cena fell out of the ring. Rollins posed with his briefcase for a bit, but then turned to look back at Lesnar. Sensing he was out of it, Rollins rushed over and hit a Curb Stomp on Lesnar’s head. 

Rollins went to the outside with his briefcase and handed it over to the ref. He demanded that they take his briefcase for a cash in so Justin Roberts announced he was cashing in, but the bell never rang to start a match. As Rollins was climbing back to the apron, Cena was back up and yanked him down. Cena started to beat up Rollins in the ring and eventually Rollins rolled out and fled up the ramp. Cena watched from the ring. Moments later, Lesnar was back up and grabbed Cena to deliver a crushing F5 on him, post-match.

Cole and the commentators screamed about what just went on, saying Rollins never got a match for the cash in, so he never officially used the briefcase. Meanwhile, Lesnar’s music played as he was still the WWE World Heavyweight champ. Cena was hunched over in the ring looking distraught as the Night of Champions PPV ended with Cole noting that Rollins cost him the title tonight.

Winner: John Cena defeated Brock Lesnar via disqualification when Seth Rollins interfered.

Smackdown Results 09/19/14

Smackdown Results from Biloxi, MS:

The final Smackdown before Night of Champions 2014 opened with the pyro display and crowd shots by the camera. The main event was noted as Rusev vs. Roman Reigns for tonight’s show. The Usos made their ring entrance for the opening matchup which will feature Jimmy in singles action. 

Jimmy Uso defeated Stardust via pinfall. Jimmy made a late comeback and set up for a Superkick, but Stardust avoided. Moments later, Jimmy connected on the Superkick for the pin. Post-match, Goldust tried to attack, but got a pair of Superkicks from The Usos.

Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler defeat The Miz and Cesaro via pinfall. Miz was preparing for his finisher on Sheamus, but Dolph Ziggler distracted Miz. Sheamus hit The Brogue Kick to score the pinfall win.

Adam Rose defeated Heath Slater via pinfall. Titus O’Neil was at ringside and grabbed Rose’s ankle to trip him up on one move. The Bunny from the Rosebuds got involved to hit a bunny-hop suicide dive onto Titus. In the match, Rose got the upper hand, hitting a variety of offense to eventually pin Slater.

The Wyatt Family defeated Big Show and Los Matadores via pinfall. Late in the match, Big Show and Erick Rowan started to brawl on the outside. Diego was the legal man for his team and hit a suicide dive on Harper outside the ring. As Diego got back in the ring, Bray Wyatt was ready and hit Sister Abigail for the win.

Paige defeated Nikki Bella via pinfall in a non-title match. AJ Lee and Brie Bella were at ringside area. Late in the contest, Paige and Nikki went back and forth with shots on one another. Paige eventually was able to get control hitting the Paige-turner for the pinfall win. Post-match, AJ grabs the divas title belt to give to Paige in the ring in a strange way. Nikki grabbed the belt away and knocked down Paige and AJ before holding the title up to end the segment.

Bo Dallas defeated Jack Swagger via pinfall. At one point, Bo hit a neck breaker on Swagger on the apron to gain control. Swagger staged a comeback and appeared in control to grab the win. Bo surprises him and is able to hit the Bo-Dog to get the pinfall. Post-match, Bo taunts Jack for following around a guy like Zeb Colter. Eventually, Swagger kicked Bo down, so Bo rolled out of the ring to get away.

Mark Henry had a backstage interview by Renee Young. He told her that this Sunday at Night of Champions it will be his redemption for losing to a Russian back in 1992 at the Olympics.

Rusev defeated Roman Reigns via disqualification when Seth Rollins interfered. Late in the match, Rusev was seemingly in control and smashed Reigns into the turnbuckle. Reigns made a comeback after hitting a flying clothesline and then a boot to Rusev’s head. He set up for the Superman Punch, but Seth Rollins showed up. Reigns was distracted which allowed Rusev to go for The Accolade submission. Reigns powered out of it and put Rusev down on the mat. Rollins tried to jump off the top rope with the MITB briefcase to hit Reigns but hit Rusev by mistake causing the DQ. 

Post-match, Reigns went after Rollins on the outside as Rollins took off. The two ended up brawling in the crowd. Lana and Rusev celebrate in the ring for their victory, but Mark Henry comes out and tells them to lower Old Glory from the rafters. That got Rusev upset. The two beasts clashed in the ring with Rusev getting the upper hand, but Henry was able to gain his strength back to recover. Henry and Rusev charged at each other with Henry grabbing Rusev to hit World’s Strongest Slam on him. Henry stood tall to close out the Smackdown show.

Raw Results 09/14/14

Raw results from Lafayette, LA:

The opening segment featured Paul Heyman in the ring delivering a promo about how Brock Lesnar would give John Cena an even bigger beating this Sunday than he did at Summerslam. Eventually Cena showed up to let Heyman know he said if Lesnar wasn’t here tonight he was going to fight Heyman instead. Heyman told Cena Lesnar flies by private jet and it was delayed. He told him he’d be here. Cena said he had 80 minutes until Cena kicks Heyman’s ass instead. Heyman said he’d let Cena know when Lesnar showed up and started to leave the ring, but Cena grabbed him saying he doesn’t trust him. During a commercial break, Cena apparently had Heyman in a headlock and put him into a locker room. He told Great Khali to stand guard and not let him out.

Chris Jericho defeated Kane via pinfall. The match lasted about 13 minutes. Late in the match, Kane tried for his chokeslam, but Jericho avoided it then sent Kane head first into the corner turnbuckle which he had removed earlier. Jericho rolled him up for the pinfall win.

Renee Young interviewed Roman Reigns backstage. He talked about how Seth Rollins said he was responsible for his success and that’s a load of crap. Reigns said everyone has a game plan until they get punched in the mouth, and that’s what he plans to do to Rollins.

Jack Swagger defeated Bo Dallas via submission. Dallas was able to clothesline Swagger out of the ring at one point then had a near fall in the ring. Moments later, he had another two count, but Swagger was able to turn the tables and put on the Patriot Lock for the win.

Paige & Nikki Bella defeated AJ Lee & Brie Bella via pinfall. Brie went for the hot tag to AJ at one point, but Nikki yanked AJ off the apron. Paige was able to hit the RamPaige on Brie to get the pinfall win. Nikki followed it with a post-match backbreaker on Brie. Paige skipped around the ring, but then AJ skipped around the outside of the ring and smiled at Paige.

Bray Wyatt did a backstage promo about how he will have to fix Goliath who still roams the earth in the form of sickness and death. He said tonight he will fix Big Show just for fun.

Big Show defeated Bray Wyatt via disqualification. Harper and Rowan ran into the ring at one point to attack show when he was about to cover Bray. Show hit a double chokeslam on them as Bray Wyatt sat outside the ring in his rocking chair and laughed.

Sheamus & The Usos defeated Cesaro, Goldust and Stardust via pinfall in a six-man tag match. Late in the match, Cesaro hit a Neutralizer on Sheamus and had the pinfall. One of the Usos came in to break it up. Moments later, another Uso hit a top rope Splash onto Cesaro for the pinfall win.

Cena went back to the locker room and grabbed Paul Heyman to bring him out to the ring. He said it was showtime. In the ring, Heyman kept taunting Cena to hi t him but said he knows he won’t because then Cena would be a bully. Heyman challenged Cena “Hit me and become the Heyman guy you can be.” Cena said no, that he couldn’t and that this was his plan to make Heyman produce Lesnar for a fight. Heyman made a remark about Cena’s mother, causing Cena to shove him down to the mat and to ringside. He told him not to talk about his mother, ever.

Brock Lesnar’s music hit and he came out to the stage and down the ramp. He teased getting into the ring, but smirked and backed off. Eventually he jumped onto the apron. As he got in the ring, Cena started to attack, but Lesnar quickly recovered and hit the German Suplex again. Cena rolled to ringside. He rushed back in and blindsided Lesnar, then started unloading punches on him on the outside floor. Eventually, refs and guards rushed over to separate the two men from the brawl.

Naomi defeated Cameron via submission. Late in the match, Cameron was in control, but Naomi fought back and hit several punches then rolled up Cameron from the corner and put on a submission to make her tap out.

Dolph Ziggler & R-Ziggler defeated The Miz & Damien Mizdow via pinfall. Truth was impersonating Ziggler while Sandow was acting as Miz’s stunt double again. Late in the match, Sandow tried to grab Ziggler from behind. He ended up getting punched by Miz by accident. Ziggler hit a Zig Zag on Miz to get the win.

Seth Rollins had a backstage interview where he called Rollins a neanderthal who is part Samoan, gorilla and rhino. He called rhinos among the strongest animals in the world but also not the smartest. He said “Brains over brawn any time” and proclaimed himself future WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins via pinfall. Reigns was bleeding from the nose, but the match continued. He eventually managed to hit a Spear to take down Rollins for the pinfall win. Post-match, the commentators said the two would meet in a rematch at Night of Champions.

The final segment had Michael Cole in the ring to introduce Mark Henry for his promo before Night of Champions. He talked about how he won’t - no he can’t let everyone down. Cole brought up all the social media buzz around this match, and then listed off Lana’s anti-American tweets. Henry said she can only say those things because she’s in America. He continued to talk, but Rusev’s music hit and he arrived out to interrupt.

Rusev came out waving a Russian flag, with Lana standing behind him on stage. Lana told Henry to shut up. Henry told her to send Rusev to the ring to make him. Lana said Henry talks about education yet he only speaks propaganda. She said they only give facts about Russia. She brought up how in the 1992 Olympic Games Henry lost and Russia prevailed. She asked the crowd to stand and salute the Russian Olympic gold medalist. She kept going on about that and said Obama cowers in fear when he hears Putin’s name.

Lana said history will repeat itself when Henry fails against Russia this weekend at the PPV. Henry eventually interrupted and tried to lead the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance. Rusev hit the ring and interrupted it, trading shots with Henry. Eventually Rusev hit a standing kick to knock Henry down. He tried to put on The Accolade, but Henry powered out and hit a two-handed slam on Rusev to the mat. Henry tossed Rusev over the top rope to the outside. He grabbed an American Flag and waved it towards the camera. JBL said maybe it will finally wave again at Night of Champions this Sunday if Henry can defeat Rusev.

Smackdown Results 09/12/14

Smackdown Results from Wilkes-Barre, PA:

The Uso Brothers, Mark Henry & Big Show defeated Goldust, Stardust, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan in an eight man tag team match.

Bo Dallas defeated Justin Gabriel via pinfall. Jack Swagger was at ringside trying to taunt Bo during the match. Bo eventually hit the Bo-Dog for the win.

Paige defeated Summer Rae via submission in a non-title match. AJ Lee was on commentary, while Layla was ringside for Summer Rae. Paige put on the Black Window, AJ’s submission, to make Summer submit.

Mark Henry defeated Rusev in the first part of their arm wrestling match. Rusev asked for a rematch and Lana threw powder in Henry’s face, allowing Rusev to win.

Dolph Ziggler & R-Truth defeated The Miz and Damien Sandow.

Chris Jericho & Roman Reigns defeated Randy Orton & Seth Rollins via pinfall. Orton tried for a DDT on Jericho late, but Jericho blocked it and scored the quick rollup pinfall for the win. Smackdown closed with Jericho and Reigns celebrating their win.

Smackown Results 09/05/14

Smackdown results from Lincoln, NE:

Smackdown opened with Cena coming to the ring to deliver a promo about he’s going to be the one to face Brock Lesnar for the title at Night of Champions. Seth Rollins and Kane interrupted saying Cena was having a mid-career crisis. Roman Reigns ended up coming out to make it two vs. two. The Wyatts appeared on the ramp along with Kane and Rollins to make it four vs two, but then Jericho’s music hit and out he came with Henry and Big Show. Triple H arrived out to his theme music and booked a 10-man tag for the main event.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Cesaro via pinfall in a non-title matchup. Sheamus was on guest commentary. Ziggler managed to win the match with a surprise roll up pinfall. Cesaro attacked Ziggler post-match, but Sheamus got involved. He tossed the IC belt to Cesaro then Brogue Kicked him.

Jimmy Uso defeated Heath Slater via pinfall. Titus O’Neil was ringside for Slater while Jey was there on a crutch for his brother Jimmy. Jimmy won with the Superkick and then a Superfly Splash for the pinfall.

Paige defeated Brie Bella in a non-title matchup via pinfall. AJ and Nikki were at ringside during the match. At one point, AJ got into Nikki’s face leading to a brawl. Brie went outside and ended up pulling AJ off her sister. As Brie went back in the ring, Paige hit her DDT finisher for the win.

Bo Dallas defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall. Bo hit the Bo-Dog for the win in the quick match. He tried to mock Zeb and Swagger post-match with a “We the People” hand over your heart routine. Swagger came out and rushed to grab Bo for a fight. He got the Patriot Lock on for a bit, but Dallas escaped to ringside. Zeb finished things with the “We the People” yell.

John Cena, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Big Show & Mark Henry vs Seth Rollins, Kane, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan ended in a non-contest for a ten-man tag team match. Late in the match, Cena got a hot tag into the match from Jericho. Everyone started getting involved in the ring hitting their big moves. Eventually, the two legal men, Rollins and Cena, were left. Cena put the STF on Rollins, but The Wyatts got involved to start beating up Cena, causing the match to get thrown out. Post-match, another big brawl broke out. The faces all hit their various finishers on the heel team. Jericho hit a Codebreaker on Bray Wyatt, then Show and Henry hit their moves on Harper/Rowan. Reigns speared Kane, and Cena hit the AA on Rollins.

Raw Results 09/01/14

Raw Results from Des Moines, IA:

Chris Jericho’s Highly Reel kicked things off, but before he could introduce his guest, Triple H’s music hit. He arrived out with Randy Orton, Kane and Seth Rollins all in suits. Triple H and Jericho traded in-ring jabs about one another, then HHH suggested that maybe Cena shouldn’t be the #1 contender getting a title shot against Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions. John Cena came out and was irate at what he heard, threatening to sue HHH and take his job over to fire him if he is denied his rematch. Orton, Kane and Rollins also made cases for being #1 contenders. Orton made a vow he’d drop Reigns if he was there right now after Jericho brought up Reigns beating Orton at Summerslam. That brought Reigns out to call out Orton. Eventually, HHH said these six guys will battle in a six man tag match tonight and he’ll see who impresses him enough to earn a title shot.

The Miz and Cesaro defeated Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus via pinfall. Damien Sandow was ringside for The Miz. At one point, Dolph was ready to go for a Fameasser, but Miz got out of the ring. Sandow entered the ring and yelled “Action!” which distracted Dolph. Miz grabbed Dolph and hit Skullcrushing Finale for the win.

They showed footage from last week’s Raw where Nikki trashed her sister Brie Bella in the ring.

Naomi, Summer Rae & Layla vs. Eva Marie, Cameron and Rosa Mendes was a no contest. All six divas started fighting at one point in the ring causing the match to get tossed out by the ref. The baby face divas team ended up clearing the ring of the heels post-match.

They showed highlights from last week where Reigns tossed a cinder block at Seth Rollins but it missed. The announcers reminded fans of tonight’s six man tag match to help determine the #1 contender to face Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions.

Big Show & Mark Henry defeated Luke Harper & Erick Rowan due to disqualification. During the match, Lana and Rusev showed up and stood in the aisle to watch the match. Henry gained control late and set up for his finisher, but Rusev got into the ring and delivered a kick to cause the DQ. Show grabbed a steel chair to chase off the Wyatts with and then assisted Henry.

They had a segment with Nikki talking about how she and Brie both took their driver’s tests at age 16 but only she (Nikki) passed. She talked about driving them around all the time and having fun, until Brie stole the car and her driver’s license and got into an accident. Nikki said she never told anyone about it though.

They talked up how former NFL drafted rookie Michael Sam was cut from NFL but has been invited to speak on Raw next week as an open forum if he wants it. Sam was the first openly gay NFL player and the announcers talked about him deserving to be on a roster or practice squad.

Paul Heyman came out to cut a promo about Cena being desperate to hold onto the image his fans have of him. He said he’ll be great in tonight’s main event, but you could stack the locker room together and multiply it by infinity but it still wouldn’t equal half the brutality of Brock Lesnar when he beats down Cena at Night of Champions.

Jack Swagger defeated Curtis Axel via submission. During the match, Bo Dallas came out with a mic in hand with two men and a women sitting in chairs set up on stage behind him. In the match, Swagger got control and went for a Swagger Bomb, but Axel put a foot up. Swagger caught himself and stopped, then put on the Patriot Lock to get the win. Post-match, Bo Dallas introduced the different fans he had with him who either lost major bets, were deported or decided to become Vladimir Putin  supporters because of Swagger’s losses to Rusev. Dallas had all three fans stand up behind him, put their hands over their hearts and say “All you have to do is Bolieve.”

Adam Rose defeated Titus O’Neil via pinfall. Slater was ringside for Titus. The Rosebuds danced to the ring with Rose. The bunny hopped over towards Heath Slater who punched him. The bunny got back up and threw punches towards Slater. Titus was distracted, so Rose got an easy rollup pinfall win.

Rusev defeated Zack Ryder via submission. Rusev locked in The Accolade in about 50 seconds to make Ryder tap out. As Lana and Rusev were posing in front of the Russian flag in the ring, Mark Henry’s music hit and he came to the ring. Rusev exited as Henry got in. Henry got the mic and said he’s afraid of the strongest man in the strongest country. Henry said he’s opened a new international wing for the Hall of Pain and Rusev can be the first entrant.

They had a backstage segment with Stephanie and HHH. Steph said she’s got a big announcement to make and can’t wait to see Nikki’s face when she makes it.

After commercial, Steph had Nikki Bella in the ring. Nikki thanked her for the opportunity to get all the things off her chest that Brie did to her behind her back. Steph said she appreciates how hard Nikki’s had to work to get out of Brie’s shadow, so she is giving her a deserved WWE Divas championship match. That brought out Brie to intervene telling Steph this doesn’t involve her now. Brie talked about Nikki tearing up their family and questioned what it was even for. Nikki said it was for herself, and then made fun of Brie’s goat-faced husband. AJ Lee’s music hit and she skipped to the ring. She told Stephanie she is #1 contender for the title so Steph should let the Bella Twins work out their own issues on their own time, and leave the divas title fight to her. Steph thanked Lee for her input. 

Paige’s music hit and she also skipped to the ring. She said this discussion needs to involve the Divas champion. Eventually, Nikki and Brie got into it with Brie shoving Nikki down, which caused Nikki to crash down with Paige. Brie left the ring. AJ grabbed the divas championship from the mat and skipped around the ring with it as her music went on. Steph eventually got in her way and ordered her to hand over the belt “Now!” Lee smiled and handed it over as the two stared at each other before Lee left the ring.

Goldust defeated Jimmy Uso via pinfall. The match lasted just over two minutes. Goldust tried to get on the mic to apologize pre-match, but The Usos attacked he and Stardust. They fought them off and then the match started. Stardust kicked Jey’s knee at ringside. Jimmy dove out onto him on the floor, but then as he got into the ring was kicked in the head. Goldust hit the Final Cut for the win. Post-match, the Dust Brothers worked on Jey’s knee and slammed a chair on the bad knee.

They had a backstage conversation involving Big Show with Mark Henry. Show told Henry not to forget what he said about them being the most dominant team in WWE. Henry said has to take care of Rusev first. Show said he’d be in his corner, but Henry said he has to do it himself. Show seemed bothered by that but told Henry to get him and put him in the Hall of Pain.

John Cena, Roman Reigns & Chris Jericho defeated Randy Orton, Seth Rollins & Kane via pinfall. Cena got a hot tag from Jericho about 20 minutes into the main event. He was able to get the upper hand on Kane and hit the Attitude Adjustment after doing a “You Can’t See Me” motion towards Triple H and Steph watching at ringside. Cena yelled “Is that enough?” at HHH/Steph before he tagged in Reigns who hit a Spear on Kane for the pinfall win. Post-match, Cena went to ringside and talked some trash at HHH before he grabbed Rollins and hit the AA with Rollins onto the announcers table. He said “I will see Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions” to HHH before returning to the ring as his music played on to close Raw.

Smackdown results from Ontario, CA:

Roman Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt via disqualification. Reigns gained control after making a comeback and sending Bray to the floor. Harper and Rowan joined in to attack Reigns, causing a DQ. The group continued to beat up Reigns, but Mark Henry and Big Show rushed out to make the save. After commercial break, it was announced that there would be a six man tag match later with these competitors in the main event.

Seth Rollins defeated Rob Van Dam via pinfall. Late in the match, Rollins went up top but RVD stopped him. Rollins managed to do a sunset flip, carrying RVD with him for a power move. He did it again, then followed with the Curb Stomp for the win.

Paige defeated Emma via submission in a non-title match. Paige won in about a minute’s time, shoving down Emma and then hooking the PTO for the win. Post-match, AJ skipped to the ring with a heart-shaped box. She revealed it was chocolates and said even if it’s not Valentine’s Day you should still tell your friend how you feel about them. She made Paige eat a chocolate but she spit it out at AJ’s feet. Paige skipped off with AJ looking at her confused.

Rusev defeated Jack Swagger via submission. The match lasted over ten minutes. During the match, Rusev put The Accolade on Swagger, but he started to break it. Bo Dallas came to ringside and threw a towel in the ring. The ref saw the towel, took it and threw it back out. With the ref distracted, Bo Dallas tripped Swagger, and Rusev was able to put The Accolade on to make him tap out.

They had a backstage segment where Miz was on his phone talking to his agent telling him he’d be at the shoot soon. Someone kept poking Miz on the shoulder and he was ignoring them, but they kept poking and finally grabbed Miz to spin him around. It was Kane and he took the phone away, then told Miz he couldn’t make the shoot because he was booked to face Sheamus tonight.

Jimmy Uso defeated Stardust via pinfall. The match lasted under a minute. Uso got the win with a surprise rollup pinfall. Post-match, Goldust attacked Jimmy from behind, then he and Stardust attacked Jey before leaving the scene.

Sheamus defeated Damien Mizdow via pinfall in a non-title match. The Miz arrived with Damien Sandow as Damien Mizdow. Miz said he had to protect his moneymaker so his stunt man would replace him tonight. In the match, Sheamus managed to make a comeback in the fight and then hit White Noise to get the win. Post-match, Miz attacked Sheamus before rushing off. Dolph Ziggler came out and tossed Miz back in the ring. Sheamus went for the Brogue kick with Miz avoiding it and Sandow taking the kick instead.

Big Show, Mark Henry & Roman Reigns defeated The Wyatt Family via pinfall. Towards the close, Bray Wyatt tagged in and was able to send Show towards the corner. Bray charged at him, but Show blasted him with a clothesline before making a hot tag to reigns. Reigns started to clean house and hit a Superman punch on Harper for a near fall. Rowan broke things up, causing everyone to get involved. Harper was able to whip Reigns to the ropes, but Roman recovered and hit a spear on the way towards him to get the pinfall win.

Main Event Results 03/11/14

Main Event results from Little Rock, AR:

The latest episode of WWE Main Event aired on Tuesday, March 11th on the WWE Network online and included several big title matches on the card. Among those featured were AJ Lee, Natalya, Mark Henry and Dean Ambrose.

Los Matadores defeated Curtis Axel and Ryback. Late in the match, Fernando got a hot tag to Diego. Diego came in and took out Axel and Ryback with a bunch of quick offense. Fernando managed to knock Ryback down near ringside, with El Torito getting on the apron. Axel kicked Torito off the apron but he fell onto Ryback. Axel was distracted by that, so Diego rolled him up for a pinfall.

AJ Lee defeated Natalya via submission to retain the Divas Championship. Tamina was ringside for AJ. Prior to the match, AJ said she was bored. She said she has no competition and will show once again why she’s longest-reigning Divas Champion of all time. In the match, Natalya fought back late and hit a body slam for a near fall. AJ put a Black Widow on moments later, but Natalya powered out and tried for a Sharpshooter. AJ fought it off, but Natalya re-applied it. AJ got to the ropes once, and then another time with Tamina pushing the rope forward for her. Natalya argued with Tamina about her involvement and AJ hit a Shining Wizard on Natty. She followed with the Black Widow and made Natalya tap out.

Dean Ambrose defeated Mark Henry via pinfall to retain the United States Championship. Rollins and Reigns were ringside to support Ambrose. Before a commercial break, Henry argued with the two guys on the outside, allowing Ambrose to get a dropkick on Henry’s knees. After break, Ambrose worked on Henry’s legs even more, hitting shots to his legs and putting holds on him. Henry managed to come back and went for a second rope splash. Reigns distracted him, allowing Ambrose to yank Henry off the corner and hit his finisher, before getting the pinfall.
