This year's event featured several titles on the line in addition to two huge title matches, the return of John Cena, and a Casket Match between Undertaker and Big Show! Below you'll find match recaps, as well as the winners!

Team HBK vs. Team JBL
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match

In this traditional Survivor Series elimination match it was the team of Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, The Great Khali & Cryme Tyme going up against the team of JBL, Kane, MVP, & The Miz & John Morrison.

After eliminating JTG, MVP was quickly eliminated by Great Khali. Khali and Mysterio performed a doubleteam to eliminate Kane by pinfall. The match came down to a 3 on 2 contest with just JBL and Morrison remaining to face Rey Mysterio, Great Khali and Shawn Michaels. For quite a while, JBL and Morrison isolated Mysterio, punishing him around the ring. Rey finally escaped using the Hurricanrana and HBK was in. HBK and JBL went to the outside, with HBK doing a flip off the apron. The two continued to battle as the ref counted. Michaels attempted to Superkick JBL who ducked away. HBK then managed to slip into the ring and escape the countout. JBL was eliminated and angrily left backstage. As Michaels got in the ring, Morrison was ready and tried to mock him with a Superkick. Michaels ducked it and gave Morrison the Superkick, then pinned him for the win. Michaels, Khali and Mysterio are the final survivors! The three final competitors celebrated together, with Khali hoisting Mysterio up on his shoulders.

Winners: Shawn Michaels, Great Khali and Rey Mysterio are the final survivors.

Raw Divas vs. Smackdown Divas
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match

Competing in this divas traditional Survivor Series Match were Raw's Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle, & Jillian vs. Smackdown's Michelle McCool, Maria, Maryse, Victoria, & Natalya.

Early on it seemed the Smackdown divas couldn't work together as Michelle and Maryse had a shoving match, until their partners pulled them apart. Once the dust finally settled, Kelly Kelly was able to get a surprise pinfall on Victoria for the 1st elimination. Maryse came in and managed to deliver a backbreaker to grab a pinfall on Kelly near the ropes. Mickie and Maria had a spirited face off, but a distraction by Maria allowed Mickie to DDT Michelle and pin her.

Right after the elimination, a distraction from Beth Phoenix allowed Maryse to roll up Mickie and eliminate her. Candice was able to escape Natalya's Boston Crab submission thanks to Jillian getting into the ring. Candice speared Natalya down then made the quick rollup pin. Next it was Maria vs. Jillian. Maria managed to steal the pin on Jillian after some fighting, but quickly Candice came in and dropped Maria for the next elimination. Maryse got in quickly and ran over to knock Beth Phoenix off the apron a second time during the match. Maryse applied a figure four leglock and Candice tapped out. The Glamazon came in to finally confront Maryse as the last diva for Raw vs the last Smackdown diva. Maryse seemed to dominate impressively, even delivering a serious kick to the back of Beth's head. But Beth soon overcame it and delivered her finisher, "the Glam Slam" on Maryse. Afterwards, Santino came in to celebrate the victory.

Winner: Beth Phoenix, Raw diva is the final survivor.

Undertaker vs. Big Show
Casket Match

The Undertaker's druids delivered the Casket to the ring, before Big Show and then the Undertaker each made their entrances.

In what was the 18th anniversary of the Casket Match, Undertaker seemed to have his much larger opponent beat, but the Casket wouldn't hold him. Taker tried to slam the lid shut, but Show prevented him from doing so. The Big Show got out of the casket, chokeslammed Undertaker down, and then set the casket upside down. Big Show began to back down the ramp, smiling as an angry Undertaker got up and followed him. The Big Show's exit was blocked as pyro flames shot up at the top of the ramp. Undertaker's druids brought a second casket out. Undertaker & Show began to beat on each other back and forth at the top of the ramp. After knocking Taker down, Show stood up the second casket and slammed Taker head first off it. Show propped the casket up again, and attempted to go for the knockout, punching away at Taker. Taker countered finally and threw Big Show into the casket, which then fell and the lid shut.

Winner: The Undertaker defeats Big Show in the Casket Match.

Team Batista vs. Team Orton
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match

Wrestling in this traditional Survivor Series match was the team of Batista, Matt Hardy, CM Punk, Kofi Kingston & R-Truth vs. the team of Randy Orton, William Regal, Shelton Benjamin, Cody Rhodes & Mark Henry.

CM Punk got into the ring against Regal and started things off by quickly hoisting up Regal into the GTS, then eliminating him. The match saw most of the competitors go at it, with Shelton and R-Truth squaring off. Truth hit an axe kick at one point, but Shelton responded with the Pay Dirt, then eliminated Truth by pinfall. Kofi Kingston came in next and was punished by Shelton, then Mark Henry, and then Randy Orton, who each tagged in. Orton was able to finish off Kofi with a DDT and three count. Later still in the match, it was CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes. Punk was in control after a bulldog. He went to the top rope, but Manu got on the apron causing a distraction. Rhodes took advantage, hitting a DDT on Punk, then pin him to eliminate CM Punk.

It came down to Matt Hardy & Batista vs. Shelton, Mark Henry, Rhodes & Orton. Hardy was eliminated by Mark Henry using the World's Strongest Slam. Batista quickly entered and Speared Mark Henry down. After pinning Henry, Batista hit Shelton with a Spinebuster and Batista Bomb to eliminate his 2nd straight opponent. Batista went up against Rhodes next, with a 2 on 1 situation (Orton the other remaining opponent). Batista knocked Manu off the apron and was ready with a Batista Bomb on Rhodes. Batista had Rhodes up close by Orton, allowing Orton to make a blind tag. Batista delivered the Batista Bomb on Rhodes, but since Orton was legal he couldn't pin Rhodes. As Batista argued this with the ref, Orton was in and quickly stole the win with an RKO on Batista.

Winners: Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes are final survivors.

Jeff Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov vs. Triple H
WWE Title Triple Threat Match

Leading up to this match, it had been discussed that Jeff Hardy had been attacked by a mysterious assailant. According to Jim Ross, the story was picked up on TMZ.com, CNN and other media outlets.

Definitely the surprise of the night as the main event started off with just Kozlov vs. HHH for the WWE title. The two fought furiously and Kozlov eventually overpowered The Game. Kozlov used a barrage of submission holds, prompting the crowd to grow restless. Kozlov was able to used a high belly-to-belly suplex, but Triple H responded with a quick Pedigree. Both men were layed out on the mat as the ref started to count them down. Suddenly, Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero appeared to announce that this will be a Triple Threat as originally planned. Then she introduced the Rated R Superstar, Edge.

Edge charged to the ring wearing a new beard and speared Triple H down. Suddenly, Jeff Hardy rushed out and grabbed a steel chair from ringside. In the ring, Hardy bashed the chair over Edge and Kozlov. Edge was able to recover and delivered a quick spear to take Hardy down. Edge then stole the winning pinfall on Triple H and becomes new WWE champion!

Winner: Edge wins via pinfall over Triple H to become new WWE champion.

John Cena vs. Chris Jericho
World Heavyweight title match

Cena made his return from injury in his hometown of Boston, MA, to face Chris Jericho for the title. Would Cena deliver? He had the hype behind him as he battled with the tough champion, Chris Jericho, over the belt.

Both men tried to bring their A game in this one, as they battled outside the ring near the crowd barrier and avoided a double countout. Each wrestler also hit their finisher on the other, but only managed to get a 2 count. Jericho locked the Walls of Jericho in on Cena twice, but was unable to make the returning star tap out. The two competitors continued to battle it out. As the match went on, a busted open Jericho delivered a huge clothesline on Cena, and taunted him on the mat. As Cena finally got up, Jericho dropped him down with another huge clothesline.

Cena tripped Y2J down to get Jericho into the STFU, and Jericho struggled to get near the ropes. Jericho kept going for the ropes and Cena finally broke the hold. Jericho raked Cena in the eye and tried to steal the match with a roll-up pinfall. Suddenly, Cena countered Jericho's pin attempt with the F-U and pinned Jericho. John Cena is your new World Heavyweight Champion!

Winner: John Cena wins via pinfall over Chris Jericho to become new World Heavyweight Champion.

Definitely a big surprise tonight with the return of Edge. Once again, the Ultimate Opportunist managed to get in and steal a title win, this time without a money in the bank briefcase. The bigger surprise may have been that Vickie Guerrero put him into the match. It appears the power couple may be back together, but Jeff Hardy will have something to say about it.

Congratulations to all of tonight's winners, including Beth Phoenix, Undertaker, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Great Khali, Rey Mysterio and Shawn Michaels. Big congrats also go to Cena and Edge the new World Heavyweight and WWE Champs respectively. Stay tuned for Monday night Raw at 9PM EST on USA for all the fallout and reactions from Survivor Series!
