Raw Preview 07/05/10

With an anonymous General Manager behind the scenes running Raw and the new group known as "Nexus" running rampant, Monday Night should be interesting. On tonight's show, the new GM has promised that the recent actions of Wade Barrett's NXT Season 1 gang will be dealt with appropriately. The question is what will the reprecussions be if any? The Nexus attacked WWE legends in the ring last week including Jerry Lawler, Arn Anderson and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Previously, they've attacked John Cena and cost him the WWE Title, and also gave Mr. McMahon a beatdown in the ring. What will be next for Nexus on tonight's Raw? Will the new GM have some sort of punishment in mind?

Also, on last week's Raw we learned of the WWE Title match for Money in the Bank which will see Sheamus defending his Championship against John Cena. We also learned of the eight participants for Raw's Money in the Bank match. Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, Christian, Randy Orton, Ted Dibiase, Edge, Chris Jericho and The Miz will all be competing. Whoever can win the MITB match at the PPV, gets a WWE Title shot anytime, anyplace. As the wrestlers are preparing we've seen Randy Orton gain the momentum early, as he climbed the ladder to end last week's show. Who will be standing tallest at the end of tonight's show?

Also, the strange pairing of Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella continues. In the past weeks, Santino has done his best to recruit Vladimir to join him so they could form the ultimate tag team. Kozlov seemed to want nothing to do with the idea. However on last week's show after Kozlov had left the ring after defeating Marella, William Regal rushed down to attack Santino. Kozlov took notice and went in to make the save. After chasing Regal off, Kozlov picked up Santino and carried him backstage. Will we finally see these two as a team on Raw tonight?
