Some More Wrestlemania 27 Matches
With Wrestlemania 27 just over a month away, speculating about some of the additional matches on the card is most wrestling fans' favorite hobby. Why not, since there's about 4 or 5 matches already seemingly implied or set up?
The last several Manias have had Money in the Bank ladder matches. Although WWE has an entire Pay-Per-View devoted to this, with two winners, it would be a travesty not to see this exciting contest return for WM27. Potential competitors could be John Morrison, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes, Kane and Mark Henry. Some of those names maybe involved in other contests though.
Right now, Eve Torres holds the Divas championship with no real contender in sight. Beth Phoenix made a big return but hasn't been heard from recently. Melina and Maryse are off and on. The team of LayCool is at odds. So it seems no contender is available. That's likely due to the fact WWE will be unveiling former TNA Knockout, Awesome Kong. It's quite possible that Kong is revealed prior to Mania and gets a title shot, where she squashes Eve in the process. It may be why Eve has the title for Mania and not Beth Phoenix or Natalya. Of course, a Triple Threat with them and Eve wouldn't be so bad.
While there are Wrestlemania 27 matches that appear to be known, here's several more that could be compelling:
Cody Rhodes versus Rey Mysterio in a street match or Falls count anywhere.
Eight man tag match, The Corre vs New Nexus
Randy Orton vs CM Punk
Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan for United States Championship
It's going to be interesting to see how WWE manages to fit all of its available talent into this Pay-Per-View. Will Shawn Michaels and The Rock both serve as guest referees? Will Christian wrestle or be at ringside with Edge? Will Dolph Ziggler be back? What about Vickie Guerrero? Will all of the various titles or championships be on the line during the major Pay-Per-View event?
So many questions, but it seems there's plenty of time for WWE to give the Universe the answers!
