Wrestlemania 27 Matches Taking Shape

With this past weekend's 2011 Elimination Chamber results and then the Monday Night Raw 02/21/11 episode, Wrestlemania 27 is getting some exciting matches in place. Several of the matches were ones that fans saw coming a mile away, but one came about on Monday that may have many shocked.

As many fans had guessed, 02/21/11 promo videos referred to the return of The Undertaker. However, his return was cut short and interrupted by another return, that of Triple H! The Game caused a frenzy in the arena as not many fans were expecting Hunter to show up and get in the ring with The Phenom.

What transpired from there was a stare down in the ring with no words exchanged. Both men glared at the big Wrestlemania banner, and then Undertaker gave his cutthroat signal. Hunter responded with the crotch chop. Michael Cole alluded to the concept that these two will indeed have a match at Wrestlemania 27.

We also finally saw Jerry Lawler challenge Michael Cole to a match. The breaking point was Cole bringing up Lawler's deceased mother during an interview in the ring, prompting Lawler to call out Cole, telling him to fight him at Wrestlemania 27. Cole splashed water in Lawler's face at ringside, then ran away through the audience. Cole has yet to officially accept that challenge.

So based on those recent events and Sunday's Chamber results, here's the Wrestlemania 27 matches, so far:

Wrestlemania 27 Matches:

Jerry Lawler vs Michael Cole

Triple H vs. The Undertaker

World Heavyweight Championship:
Alberto Del Rio vs Edge (C)

WWE Championship:
John Cena vs The Miz (C)

Add in the fact that The Rock is the special host and Atlanta, Georgia will be "rockin" when Wrestlemania 27 arrives! The grandest stage of them all should have some great matches with more to come. The event takes place on April 3, 2011.
