Smackdown's Randy Orton Suffers Concussion Before PPV
It's been reported that Smackdown star and World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton, has suffered a concussion. This was announced on the recent Monday night Raw All-Star episode, with it announced Orton was unable to wrestle.
Orton tweeted via his Twitter account that he suffered the concussion in Madrid, Spain on Sunday. Orton had wrestled a triple threat match at a house show there. He tweeted out "was knocked out in Spain. U can’t wrestle, or should I say, perform, the day after a concussion."
Due to this development, it's unknown if Orton will be good to go for Sunday's Capitol Punishment Pay-Per-View. It's likely that if the concussion was serious, they'll probably work this into the storyline with Christian and have Captain Charisma take the title.
Without giving away too much, Orton didn't wrestle on Tuesday's taping for Smackdown this week. Stay tuned, Orton also has house show appearances scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
