2011 Night of Champions PPV Matches

Night of Champions 2011 is scheduled for Sunday, September 18th at 8PM EST from . On this evening's Pay-Per-View, every single championship within the ranks of the WWE should be on the line. As of this report, all but two are scheduled for defense.

The biggest matches will feature Randy Orton defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Mark Henry, and Alberto Del Rio defending the WWE Championship against John Cena. Also, Kelly Kelly has her Divas championship on the line against Beth Phoenix, and the tag team champs will be in action.

The biggest story may be the match involving CM Punk and Chief Operating Officer of WWE, Triple H. These two will fight in a No DQ match with the added stipulation that if Punk defeats HHH, Triple H must resign as the COO!

The only championships missing from the above lineup right now are Dolph Ziggler's United States Championship and Cody Rhodes' Intercontinental Championship. While both of these should be added either days ahead of the PPV or during the event itself, it's speculated that one of the titles may be defended during a dark match. Ziggler defended his US championship in a dark match against Alex Riley at Summerslam. Will he defend against Jack Swagger at Night of Champions?
