SmackDown Results 06/21/13

SmackDown results from Dayton, OH:

Daniel Bryan came to the ring for the opening segment.  He talked about how he's never had a match stopped due to injury like was done to him on RAW.  He says they did that because he is the weakest link.  He said he still wants to prove he's not the weakest link, so tonight he'll defeat Randy Orton.  Orton made his entrance out to the arena and told Bryan he helped him up after the match out of respect.  Orton tells Bryan he'll be taken out on a stretcher tonight.

Sheamus defeated Cody Rhodes by submission.  Sheamus used the Clover Leaf submission for the win, but post match he got beat up by Damien Sandow.

A promo was shown for the Wyatt family.

Curtis Axel defeated Wade Barrett to retain the Intercontinental Championship.  Miz was on commentary during this match.

A.J. Lee defeated Natalya in a non-title match.  Backstage, they showed Aksana teasing Kaitlyn about AJ's win.  Kaitlyn went crazy, attacking Aksana.  Layla came in to break things up.

Chris Jericho vs. Alberto Del Rio ended in a DQ in a non-title match.  Ricardo Rodriguez interfered in the match, and then Dolph Ziggler attacked Del Rio.  Del Rio managed to escape, but Jericho hit a Codebreaker on Ziggler.  After that, Del Rio came back to pose over Ziggler in the ring.

Christian defeated Drew McIntyre via pinfall.  Late in the match, Christian hit the Killswitch.  After his win, he got on the mic to talk about being back in WWE after his time off with injury.  The Shield enters the ring through the crowd and then attacked him, hitting the Triple Powerbomb to leave him layed out in the ring.

They showed a replay from RAW when Brock Lesnar attacked CM Punk to end the episode.  Backstage, Renee Young interviewed Paul Heyman regarding what went down.

Daniel Bryan defeated Randy Orton via count out.  Late in the match, both men ended up on the outside area.  Bryan did his running suicide dive out of the ring, then was able to get into the ring to beat the ref's count.  He demanded they restart the match because he didn't want things to end like that, but the ref refused.  SmackDown went off the air with them arguing over it.
