Summerslam 07' Photos
Sunday August 26, 2007 marked WWE's second biggest Pay Per View event of the year, after Wrestlemania, Summerslam. The event took place in New Jersey, and included several title matches, the return of Triple H and Rey Mysterio, and a surprise visit by Stone Cold Steve Austin. A friend of the WWE Fanatics Myspace nicknamed "Lil Rock" attended the event and grabbed some great pics of the various matches and superstars. Check them out below, as well as a few interesting John Cena stories he had to share from the event.
Above, Kane's flames erupt from the corner ringposts for his match against Finlay. If you've sat a few rows back from the ring, you know what this feels like! Some arenas turn on huge fans just to clear the smoke out of the air...Kane won his matchup against Finlay despite all sorts of interference and tricks.
Pictured above are various WWE divas in the ring for their #1 Contender Battle Royal. Candice Michelle looks on from outside the ring as Maria, Kelly Kelly, Brooke, Layla, Mickie James and several other divas prepare to fight it out! Beth Phoenix "The Glamazon" ended up the winner (see below).
Above, the pyrotechnics/sparklers go off in the ring as King Booker poses for the crowd with Queen Sharmelle.
Pictured above, HHH shows why he's the "King of Kings" as he delivers the Pedigree to King Booker to win the matchup.
Triple H (above) poses from the corner of the ring for the thousands of fans. According to Lil' Rock, the Game received the biggest crowd cheers and ovations at the event, as one might expect.

About the Cena match and Cena haters/fans, Lil Rock had this to add:
"There was a guy who had a sign saying "If Cena wins, we riot." After Cena won, the arena emptied QUICK. By the time he asked for the riot, the Cena fans were the only ones left......and me and Jon. After he offered the riot, and obviously no one did anything, he rose his arms. Everyone still around cheered. The place was only Cena fans now, and I swear to you, they were enough to fill only one section of the arena.
While leaving there were people still chanting 'Cena sux'. One guy in all Cena gear started chanting back pro Cena stuff....that was a bad idea. Jon and I kept walking and I heard a Randy fan not too far from me say "**** this." He turned around and went after that Cena fan. I turned around while still walking and saw like 3-4 guys rushing that Cena fan to the ground."
