Raw Preview 06.30.08
With the conclusion of the Night of Champions PPV, the Raw show continues to lack the WWE title which Triple H still holds. Triple H successfully defended the title, and continues to be a member of Smackdown. Coming off the loss, what will John Cena have to say regarding the title and the state of Raw? Will a new superstar step forward and vow to bring a major title back to the Raw program?
Batista was also unable to bring a major title to Raw, as he lost in his match to Edge. Batista had the odds clearly stacked against him as La Familia became involved in the outcome. Now the Animal will be ready to fight yet again. What will Batista's next fight be now that he is a new member of Raw? Will a Raw superstar come forward to challenge the newest Raw member?
Last night's Pay Per View did see two titles on the Raw show change hands. First up, fans saw Cody Rhodes make a surprising heel turn on his partner Hardcore Holly. As Rhodes teamed up with Ted Dibiase, he helped him win the World Tag Team titles. What will Holly have to say regarding his former partner's actions? Will Hardcore be able to find himself a new partner for Raw to challenge for the titles?
The Intercontinental title also has a proud new owner. Newcomer to Raw, Kofi Kingston (formerly of ECW) now wears the belt, thanks to some assistance from Shawn Michaels. Chris Jericho is sure to be unhappy coming off the loss of his title. What will Jericho have in store for Shawn Michaels and Kofi Kingston? Will a rematch be scheduled for Raw or a future event?
