Smackdown Preview 06.27.08

Tonight marks the first episode of Smackdown since the 2008 draft shook up the WWE. The draft sent several key superstars to the Smackdown roster, as well as took a few away. While Smackdown lost Batista, Matt Hardy & Mark Henry, it gained several great stars. Triple H, Mr. Kennedy and Jeff Hardy are just 3 of the superstars who are now part of the Smackdown show. How will each of them fare in their Smackdown debuts?

Another big name to move over to Smackdown is commentator Jim Ross. Ross has been a longtime part of the Raw commentary team and now brings his veteran style to the Smackdown show. Jim Ross was as surprised as fans were at his being drafted away from Raw. Will JR be present to call his first episode of Smackdown?

Beyond the WWE Draft is this Sunday's Pay-Per-View, Night of Champions. Several titles are up for grabs including Edge's World Heavyweight title and Triple H's WWE title. How will Edge and Triple H prepare themselves for their title defenses at the event? Will their opponents make any sort of statement or appearance even though they are on the Raw roster?
