Raw Preview 08.11.08

Ever since being drafted to the Raw roster several weeks ago, WWE superstar Kane has been baffling other superstars and fans with his behavior. From his first few weeks on the show, Kane has been on a mission to terrorize the likes of CM Punk, Batista and even ringside commentators Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. To add to the mystery of Kane's actions, he's been carrying a mysterious burlap sack with him to ringside. For weeks he posed the question "Is he alive or is he dead?" Last week Kane answered his own question when he was heard saying "I know he's dead now" in the ring. Raw General manager Mike Adamle has vowed to find out exactly what Kane's got in the bag. Will Kane willingly surrender his mysterious possession? What will the Raw GM discover in the bag?

Last week's Raw also saw the World Tag Team titles shift over to the unlikely partners of John Cena and Dave Batista. The two fan favorites are set to meet in a singles grudge match at Summerslam, their first ever meeting. Until that match comes at the Pay Per View, they will be holding on to the tag titles together. Will the duo be able to co-exist as tag champs? Will Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase be asking for their rematch on Raw?

JBL is also set to face World Heavyweight champ CM Punk at Summerslam for the title. Last week, JBL won a brutal 2 on 1 handicap match thanks to the help of Chris Jericho, and a lucky fall onto Punk to take the pin. JBL went on to challenge Punk to a contest he know the straightedge superstar can't win. What sort of contest does JBL have in mind and does Punk have a chance?
